Malinda Kay Barnes
Malinda Kay (Covey) Barnes, 45, of Cheyenne, Wyo., died Nov. 21, 2005. She graduated from Humnoke High School in 1979.
She is survived by her mother, Marylin J. Kelly of Carlisle; husband, Jeff Allen Barnes of North Little Rock; daughters, Kelly M. Todd and Andrea K. Aday; and sisters Pam, Cathy, Tammy, Kimette, Cindy, and Gina.
The memorial service was held at the Hamilton cemetery on Nov 30. Donations for the family may be sent to Kelly Todd, 1709 Copperville Rd., Cheyenne, Wyo. 82001.
Mildred L. Gregg
Mildred Louise Durham Gregg, 78, of Cabot, died while visiting in Plano, TX.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Gregg of Cabot, and Michael Gregg of North Little Rock; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Dec. 2 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
James Leon Martin
James Leon Martin, 85, of Searcy, died Nov. 29, 2005.
He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the Downtown Church of Christ where he had served as a Deacon.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Marjorie Holmes Martin of Searcy; daughter, Janyth Baker of Searcy; three grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services were conducted on Dec. 2 at the Powell Funeral Home in Searcy with interment in Evergreen cemetery in Judsonia.
Teddy Randy Walker
Teddy Randy Walker, of Sikeston, MO, died Nov. 27, 2005.
Survivors include his wife, Paullester Walker; daughters Sharon Jones and Terry Gordon; sons, Byron Ingram, Derrick Walker and Frank Jackson; two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Dec. 2 at the Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Carlisle. Services were entrusted to Premier Funeral Home, Little Rock.
Donald Martin
Donald Martin, 67, of Bossier City, LA, died Nov. 30, 2005. He was owner and operator of Martin, Langley and Hines Sawmill for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Martin of Bossier City, LA; daughter, Kelly Gardner of Shreveport, LA; brothers, Glen Martin of Hot Springs and Carol Martin of Gurdon; sisters, Willene Nipper of Cabot, Margaret Lee and Ruthell Smith both of Gurdon; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Dec. 2 at Pleasant Hill cemetery at Plain Dealing, LA. Arrangements were by the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
Marjorie Coble Favre
Marjorie JoAnne Coble Favre, 70, of North Little Rock, died Dec. 4, 2005. She graduated High School at Sandy Creek Central School and went to nursing school at The State University of New York, where she received her LPN education. She attended Kellogg Valley Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Robin Manor, Roxanne Smart, Maureen Seniceros, Nancy Grove of North Little Rock, Tammye Clement of Cabot, and Beth Pruss of Oak Grove; son, Raymond Seniceros of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Laura Mae Zamora of New York, NY, Mildred McGinn of Liverpool, NY, Jean Poissant of Chazy, NY, and Hazel Overton of Lorraine, NY; brother, Fred Ouderkerk of Locke, NY; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
The services will be held Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. at Kellogg Valley Baptist Church, 9516 Bamboo Lane, North Little Rock with Bro. Paul Rice officiating. Burial will be in Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park.

Stephanie Stone
Stephanie Stone, 33, of Ward, died Dec. 3, 2005.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Stone; children, Shawn Martin, Felicia Stone, and Brittany Howard; and mother, Debra Martin.
Funeral services were held Dec. 6 at Hardy Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
James Lewis Wood
James (Jim) Lewis Wood, age 49, of Cabot, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2005. Jim was known for his kindness to many when he worked for his father, Jack Wood, at Wood Consultants in Lonoke and previously at Wood Pharmacy in Cabot. He never met a stranger and always had a smile for everyone.
Preceding him, and waiting in Heaven for him, is his mother, Martha Baker Wood. Surviving him is his father, Jack Wood; wife, Kathy; daughter, Brandy; brother, Gary; and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 at Thomas Funeral Home, Cabot. Family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Bible Church of Cabot. The body will be cremated following the service.
As Jim was an avid animal lover, memorials may be sent to Cabot Animal Shelter, 2102 South Second, Cabot, AR 72023.
Marie Alice Farrar
Marie Alice Farrar, age 82, of Cabot, formerly of Auburn, New York, passed away on November 20, 2005. Born March 1, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY to the late David and Kathryn Meehan. She was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville and the Senior Citizens in Cabot.
preceded in death by her husband William C. Farrar on November 1, 1991.
Survivors include three daughters: Katie Nichols (Edwin) of Cabot, AR, Sharon Seymour (Larry) of Auburn, NY, and Donna Leontovich of Concord, North Carolina; one sister Kathryn Walker of Hemet, CA; six grandchildren: Christopher, Heather, Edwin Jr., Scott, Zachary and Stephanie; and two great-grandchildren: Alexis and Tyler David.

Ida Mae Hawkins
Ida Mae “Sally” Hawkins, age 78, died Sunday morning, Nov. 20, 2005 at her home in Fort Worth., Texas. Sally was born in Lonoke.
Sally is survived by sons, Richard Thomason of Springtown, Texas, Jeff Thomason, Jr. of Malvern and Kenneth Hawkins of Alpena; daughters, Charlotte Horton of Cabot, Margo Wilson of Fort Worth, Texas, Doris Christian and Le Iva Klein of Alpena, Texas, Kathryn Craff of East Alton, Ill. and Gayle Bedillian of Bedford, Texas. Sally also leaves behind eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren from her union with Mr. Thomason, 31 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren from her union with Mr. Hawkins.
Services officiated by Brother Floyd Flowers will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hebron cemetery.
Lola Mae Schutkesting
Lola Mae Schutkesting, 87, of Cabot died Nov. 15, 2005.
She is survived by two daughters: Rose Marie Smith of Atlanta, Mo. and Linda Kay Knight of Ward; two sons: Jack Schutkesting of Kingfisher, Okla. and Joe Schutkesting of Orlando, Okla.; four brothers: John Powers of Chattanooga, Tenn., Don Powers of Kennewick, Wash., Mack Powers of Oakwood, Texas and DeWayne Powers of Inyokern, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Cabot.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 21, 2005 at the Church of Christ in Hennessey, Okla. with burial following at the Hennessey cemetery. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service.
