Russell F. Stockman
Russell Frank Stockman, 46, of Beebe, died May 21, 2005.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Stockman of McRae; sons, Casey Stockman of Beebe, and Dustin Stockman of McRae; step-sons Zachary Kircher and Steven Kircher both of McRae, and David Cole of Judsonia; mother, Bonnie Jean Stockman of Beebe; brothers, Robert Stockman of McRae, Jeffrey Stockman of Cabot and Jody Stockman of Ward; sisters, Peggy Saville of Jacksonville, Robin Pipkin of El Paso, and Stella Ivey of Beebe.
Graveside services were held May 26, at Weir cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Russell Stockman fund at any Community Bank.
Delbert Flory
Delbert Flory, 74, of Cabot, died May 23, 2005.
He was a retired supervisor in the meat department for Sexton Foods.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances; daughter, Deborah Wooten of Cabot; sons, Dwight Flory of Austin, and Phillip Flory of Houston, TX; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Winfred “Buddy” Flory of Cabot; sisters, Lorine Arey of Benton and Catherine High of Little Rock.
Funeral services were held May 26, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, in Cabot, with burial in Mt. Carmel cemetery.
Thomas R. Johnston
Thomas Redden Johnston, 81, of Cabot, died Monday, May 23, 2005. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Cashion Johnston of Cabot; two children, Randy Johnston of Lonoke and Debbie Johnston of Cabot; two sisters, Marie Lindsey of Pocahontas and Georgia Grissom of Whitney, Texas; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Zion Hill Baptist Church by Bro. Terry Fortner. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. at Nelson cemetery in Reyno. Arrangements by Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home.
Minnie L. Mackey
Minnie Louise Mackey, 78, of Carlisle, died May 23, 2005.
Her survivors include sons, Jimmy Mackey and Terry Mackey of Carlisle, and Dale Mackey of Lonoke; brother, Clarence Ward of Des Arc; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held May 26 at the Old Carlisle cemetery.
Trula Goins
Trula Goins, 86, of Conway, formerly of North Little Rock, died May 23, 2005.
She was a member of Liberty Nazarene Church in Vilonia.
She is survived by her son Odis Frank of Mesquite, TX; daughter, Marie Norwine of Conway; brother, William Green, of Lonoke; sisters, Lucille Waymack, of Cabot, Helen Evans, of North Little Rock and Faye Evans, of Little Rock; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 26 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Edgewood Memorial Park.
Raymond T. Davis
Raymond T. Davis, 62, of Cabot formerly of East Providence, R.I., died May 24, 2005.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Davis; sons, Raymond C. Davis of Coventry, R.I., and Glenn Davis of East Providence, R.I.; three grandchildren; and sister, Sharon Lonergan of Riverside, R.I.
Funeral services were held in East Providence, R.I., under the direction of W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home. Local arrangements were by Thomas Funeral Service.
Roscoe G. Massie
Roscoe G. Massie, 94, of Palestine, died May 24, 2005.
Survivors include his wife, Lola; sons, Terry Swiney of Gill, Jerry Swiney of Marianna, Donald Swiney of Bradford, and Jimmy Massie of Cabot; daughters, Betty Jo Massey of Mountain View, Dorothy Britton of Oakland, TN, and Barbara Rye of Memphis, TN; brothers, Robert Massie of Tickfall, LA, and Lonnie Massie of Livingston, LA; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 26, at Morgan Funeral Home in Forrest City, with burial at Salem cemetery.
Ernie Elmer Groth
Ernie Elmer Groth, 73, of Cabot, died May 24, 2005.
He was a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, where he served his country for 26 years.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Marie Groth; children, Ernie Groth Jr., of North Dakota; Danny Groth, of Cabot; Charlie Groth, of Austin; Patty Groth, of Cabot; Dawn Gawthrop, of Illinois; Mary King, of Austin; brothers, Rev. Marlin Groth, of Ohio; Bill Groth, of Oklahoma; Carl Groth Jr., of Oklahoma; sister, Mabel Groth, of Minnesota; 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 28, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Chapel and interment followed at Rest Hills cemetery.
Joe Brewster
Joe Brewster, 62, of Drasco, formerly of Wynne, died May 25, 2005. Graveside services were held May 28 at Cogbill cemetery in Wynne.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Brewster, of Drasco; son, Clint Brewster Shackleford of Harding; daughters, Tammy Hollingworth of Cabot, Misty Hall of Mt. Home, and April Carr of Heber Springs; brothers, Billy Brewster and Jerry Brewster of Wynne; and six grandchildren.

Minnie Marie Lott
Minnie Marie Wilson Lott, 91, of Lonoke, died May 26, 2005.
She was a member of the New Testament Missionary Baptist Church of Lonoke for many years.
Survivors include her daughter, Avaline McCann of Lonoke; sons, Leonard Lott of Hazen, James Lott of Greenbrier, Luther Lott of Lonoke, and John B. Lott of North Little Rock; sister, Lorene Harris of Conway; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 28 at New Testament Missionary Baptist Church with burial following in Concord cemetery.
Willis E. Baxter
Willis E. “Bud” Baxter, 67, of Little Rock died May 25, 2005.
He was a retired printer for Arkansas Graphics, an employee of 50 years for War Memorial Stadium as a parking coordinator and superintendent, a member of Calvary Nazarene Church in Little Rock and a former member of the Arkansas Air National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Baxter of Little Rock; sons Steven Baxter of North Little Rock and Chris of Cabot; daughter, Sharon Santistevan of Navarre, FL; stepsons Terry Davis of Roland and Gerry Davis, of Bradenton, FL; sister, Mary Yett, of Ontario, CA; mother, Loise M. Baxter of Little Rock; and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 28 at Calvary Nazarene Church. Burial followed in the Walnut Grove cemetery.
