Jan Ray Briner, age 59, died November 10, 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Briner; children, Stephen Briner, Stewart Briner, and Adam Briner, all of Hot Springs, Michelle Guajardo of Ward and Aaron Briner of Benton; stepchildren, Gary Fortson, Judy Peterson and Stephen Fortson, all of North Little Rock, Cyndie Van Portflite of Hot Springs and Michael Fortson of Cabot; brother, Kit Briner of Connecticut; sister, Grace Ann Shnovell; stepmother Betty Briner, both of Indiana; mother and stepfather, Mary and Joe Palguta of North Carolina; 19 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday, at Brownsville Assembly of God Church in Lonoke with Interment in Brownsville cemetery by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke, Full Military Honors by Leonard Stark, VFW Post 3543 Honor Guard, Heber Springs.
Robert L. Burton
Robert L. Burton, age 61, of New Durham, N.H., formerly of Austin, Texas, died Nov. 9, 2000.
He was a United States Army veteran and a car salesman, having owned and operated Burton Motors in Austin, Texas. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by four daughters, Bobbie Garner of Irving, Texas, Susan D’Entremont of Barnstead, N.H., Dianne Gordon of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Suzanne Henna of Austin, Texas; a son, David Tooley of Austin; sister Mildred Barger of Sherwood; nephew Louis Strasner of Sherwood; 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Wednesday at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, North Little Rock.
Nancy Trexler
Nancy Caroline Trexler, 53, of Little Rock died Nov. 11, 2000.
She was a member of West Rock Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert D. Trexler Sr. of Little Rock; a son, Robert D. Trexler Jr. of Little Rock; a daughter, Pamela Sue White of Alexander; her mother, Eddie of Little Rock; sister, Cynthia Ann Popp of Henderson, Nev.; brother, Larry E. Pharris of Cabot; and two granddaughters.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m., Friday in Pinecrest Memorial Park by Huson Funeral Home of Little Rock.
Jack T. Gartman
Jack T. Gartman, 80, of Mountain View died Nov. 12, 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Annie J. Gartman of Mountain View; three daughters, Patsy Adams of Necedah, Wis., Lois Treat of Oxley and Helen Gilbert of North Little Rock; a son, Wayne Gartman of Mesquite, Texas; a brother, Conley Gartman of Little Rock; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Nov. 15 at Greenwood Baptist Church, with burial in Butlerville cemetery by Westbrook Funeral Home of Beebe.
Lala Wright
Lala Lantrip Wright, 93, of Coy died Nov. 10, 2000.
She was a member of the Coy Church of Christ.
Survivors are her sons, Bobby Wright of Coy and Fred Wright of Coco, Fla.; a daughter, Dorothy Curton of Little Rock; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a half sister, Lois Roncal of Tyler, Texas.
Funeral was Nov. 13 at Roller-England Funeral Home Chapel by Jerry Copeland, with burial in Tomberlin cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Tomberlin cemetery.
Robert Julius Cole
Robert Julius Cole, 77, of Lonoke died Nov. 13, 2000.
He was a retired farmer, cattle rancher and a rifleman with the 313th Regiment of the 79th Infantry during WWII. He received the Purple Heart and earned the Combat Infantryman Badge while participating in the Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns. He served in Germany and Czechoslovakia until March, 1946. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lonoke, a lifetime member of the Lonoke Chapter of the American Legion, and the 313th Infantry Association.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m., Nov. 16, at the Lonoke First United Methodist Church, with burial in Lonoke cemetery by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Lonoke.
Eula Faye King
Eula Faye King, 84, of Austin died Nov. 8, 2000.
Survivors include her children, Hettie Yoshizuka, William Baugh and Coy Baugh, all of California; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Esther May Lowery of California; five brothers, Tom Barnett of Greenbrier, Wyatt Barnett and Dick Barnett, both of Romance, Kenneth Barnett of Michigan, and O.D. Barnett of St. Louis, Mo.

Tamyra Diana Ramirez, 3 months, died Nov. 13, 2000.
She is survived by her parents, Adolfo and Juana Ramirez; grandparents, Manuela and Jauier Hernandez of Oklahoma and Angelina and Manuel Ramirez of Mexico.

Linda Louise Holtrop, 66, of Cabot died Nov. 9, 2000.
Survivors include her husband, Ben Holtrop of Cabot; a son, James Holtrop of Cabot; three sisters, Nova Killough of Ward, Sarah Ledford of Dover and Neoma Hefley of Russellville.
Funeral was Nov. 12 at Mt. Springs Baptist Church, with burial in Mt. Springs cemetery by Cabot Funeral Home.
Alice C. Ruth
Alice C. Ruth, 93, of Cabot, formerly of Wichita Falls, Texas, died Nov. 10, 2000.
Survivors include her children, Alice A. Owen of Cabot and Nelda D. Andrews of Baldock, United Kingdom; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Private burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park, Wichita Falls, Texas, by Cabot Funeral Home.
