Otis S. Goodwin
Otis S. Goodwin, Sr., 89, of Rose Bud, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005. He was a retired carpenter, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Rose Bud First Baptist Church where he served as Deacon.
He is survived by a son, Otis Goodwin, Jr. of Cabot; a sister, Ruby Lang of Beebe; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will begin 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at Rose Bud First Baptist Church with burial in Apple Hill cemetery.
Louise Winkler
Louise Winkler, age 76, of Mabelvale/Bryant, died Jan. 8, 2005.
She is survived by two sons, one daughter and two stepdaughters, two stepsons and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She retired after 44 years of service as an Arkansas State Employee with Division of Human Services.
Graveside services were Jan. 11, at Sumner cemetery, Cabot. Wilson-Calhoun Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Beatrice Cook
Beatrice Cook, age 86 of Cabot, formerly of Searcy, died Saturday in Searcy. She was a member of the Downtown Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Jones of Sage, Barbara Clothier of Crawfordsville; one son, Alvie P. Cook, Jr. of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Velma Poole of Jonesboro; one brother, Ovie Tarno of Newport; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel.
Pearl Murphree
Pearl Smith Murphree, age 92, of Little Rock, died Jan. 5, 2005.
She is survived by three sons, William Murphree of Austin, Don Murphree of Crocket, Texas, and Doyle Murphree of Little Rock; three daughters, Deloris Sabo of Charleston, S.C., Billie Jean Murphy of Little Rock, and Evelyn Hartsell of Benton; three brothers, Wilson Smith of Oklahoma, J.D. Smith of Jonesboro, and Hal Smith of Oklahoma; two sisters, Imogene Hicks and Margie Lee both of Jonesboro; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were Jan. 8, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, Little Rock. Burial was at Pine Grove cemetery.
Randall Whittenburg
Randall Joe Whittenburg, 42, of DeWitt, died Jan. 4, 2005.
He was an employee of Riceland Foods.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Moss Whittenburg; one son, Donnie J. Whittenburg, and stepdaughter, Teresa Webb; father and stepmother, J.D. and Madie Whittenburg of Carlisle; two brothers; Jerry Whittenburg of El Paso, and Donnie L. Whittenburg of Carlisle.
Funeral services were Friday at the Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hebron cemetery near Carlisle.
Mary Beth Palmer
Mary Beth Henry Palmer, 40, died Jan. 5, 2005.
She was an employee at the Arkansas State Medical Board and was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock.
Survivors include her mother, Joyce Henry of Plumerville; two daughters, Chrystal Eakin and Sara Palmer, both of Scott; one granddaughter; three brothers, Ricky Henry of Scott, Billy Wayne Henry of England, Togo Henry of Plumerville; one sister, and Brenda Lynn of England.
Funeral services were Jan. 8, at New Life Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock with burial in Mulberry cemetery near England.

Vernon Earl Clark
Vernon Earl Clark, 59, of North Little Rock, died Jan. 5, 2005.
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, a U.S. Army veteran and a retired state employee.
He is survived by his son, Samuel Clark, of Mt. Ida; two daughters, Angie Clark and Angela Peabody, of Little Rock; brother, Bill Clark, of North Little Rock; sister, Verne Hornbeck, of DeWitt and step-mother, Doris Clark, of Furlow.
Mass of Christian burial was held Monday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Burial was in Concord cemetery in Furlow. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Robert John White
Robert John White, 88, Cabot, died January 6, 2005.
Survivors include son, Pat White; two daughters, Madonna Minard, Keigh Martin; sister Wilma Sninsky, 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Monday, Mary Mother of God Catholic Church, Harrison.
Victor G. Lienhart
Victor G. Lienhart, age 80, of Lonoke, died Jan. 3, 2005.
He was a resident of Golden Years Nursing Home. He owned his own business and was a retired contractor.
He is survived by his wife Fannie Lienhart; six daughters, Martha Hartzell, of Lincoln, Neb., Vicki Jannati, Barbara Lienhart, both of Dallas, Texas, Patsy Springer, Shirley Keever and Mary Morningstar all of Little Rock; one sister, Ann French of San Antonio, Texas; one stepdaughter, Rita Matlock of Vilonia; one stepson, Ronald Matlock of Benton; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Jan. 7, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Chapel, North Little Rock. Burial was in Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Harry Castleberry
Harry Cooper Castleberry, 88, of Little Rock, died Jan. 3, 2005.
He is survived by son, James Castleberry of Little Rock; daughters, Mary Lusty of Austin, Pat Merkley of Mayflower, and Karen Smith of Redfield; 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; stepchildren, John Surginer, Susanne Salvatore, and Adele Berry.
He served his country in World War II being stationed at Guadalcanal with CASU 11 Company.
A graveside service was held at Calvary cemetery, on Thursday, Jan. 6.
