Odell Cordell Kee
Odell Cordell Kee, age 90, of Beebe, died Dec. 25, 2004.
She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
Survivors are one son, Jim Cordell of Little Rock; one daughter, Mavis Black of Beebe; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Dec. 29, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with burial in Butlerville cemetery.

Patty Lou Coleman, 58, Cabot died Dec. 25, 2004.
Survivors: husband, Andrew Coleman; son, Michael Bailey; and stepson, Scott Coleman; daughter, Donna Scott; sister, Glenda Cosby; four grandchildren.

Barbara King, age 61, of Cabot, formerly of Camden, died Dec. 23, 2004.
A memorial service was held Tuesday at Eagle Mills Baptist Church. Proctor Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Alex Davis Jr.
Alex Davis Jr., 80, of Carlisle, died December 21, 2004.
Survivors include: wife, Beatrice Davis; one son, Earnest James.
Funeral service was Dec. 29 at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Carlisle. Interment: Carlisle cemetery. Arrangements by: Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, Little Rock.
William M. Womack
Reverend William M. “Bro. Bill” Womack died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004.
He is survived by his sons, William R. “Bill” Womack of Tumbling Shoals, and Willard A. Womack of St. Louis, Mo.; and daughter, Vestal A. Hipp of Lebanon, Ohio; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carlton Womack of Searcy.
He grew up on several small farms in White and Lonoke counties. He preached his first sermon at a small country Baptist church just south of Beebe on Nov. 19, 1931. He joined the Methodist Church and became a supply preacher for small, rural circuit of churches. He was previously a city bus driver and a truck driver and salesman for Junge’s Biscuit Company.
Funeral was Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Heber Springs, followed by burial at Cleburne County Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church of Heber Springs, The Reverend W.M. Womack Endowed Scholarship at Hendrix College, or a charity of choice.

Neva June Cheatham
Neva June McNespey Cheatham, 72, of North Little Rock died Dec. 25, 2004.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Cheatham; and a daughter, Joyce Cartwright of Vilonia; five sons, Butch McNespey, Eric McNespey of North Little Rock, Alex McNespey Sr. of Greenbrier, Don Cheatham of Cabot and Ron Cheatham of Oakland, Calif.; one sister, Betty Wilkerson; and four brothers, Kenneth, A.C., Dale and Ervin Bridges; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Dec. 28, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Wesley E. Parker
Wesley E. Parker, 88, of Jacksonville died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004.
He was of the Pentecostal faith and a World War II veteran.
He is survived by two sons - Charlie Parker of North Little Rock; Wesley Parker, Jr. of Cabot; four daughters - Leona Hickerson of Conway, Beatrice Kidd of Jacksonville, Rosie Parker of North Little Rock and Della Allen of Van Buren; 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Tuesday at Full Gospel Temple, North Little Rock, with burial at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Ruby Deaton
Ruby Deaton, 67, of Jacksonville died Dec. 21, 2004.
She was a Baptist by faith and a member of The Church of Willow Beach.
Survived by her husband of 50 years, Ray Deaton, one son - James Deaton of Benton; two daughters - Darlene Gunn of Lonoke, Carole Karrer of Scott AFB, Ill., two brothers - Horace Gourley of Seoul, Korea, John Gourley of Prescott; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Dec. 23, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Chapel, North Little Rock, with burial at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Calvin VanWinkle
Calvin VanWinkle, of Lonoke, owner of VanWinkle Moving and Storage, Inc. died December 21, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy VanWinkle of Lonoke; his father and mother, Larmon M. and Gracie Van-Winkle of Conway; two daughters, Daphne Hardester of Little Rock and Misty Behr of Benton; three brothers, Leslie VanWinkle of North Little Rock, Larmon VanWinkle of Little Rock and David Hodges of Stuttgart; four sisters, Margaret Miller and Dorothy Freeman of California, Mildred Altshul of Pine Bluff and Phyllis Nelson of Casa; and five grandchildren.
Memorial service was held at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel.
Betty J. Wooley
Betty J. Wooley, 74, of Ward died Dec. 21, 2004.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Wooley; daughter, Cathy June McGowen of Lonoke County; brother, Billy Joe Little of Jacksonville; sister, Grace Earline Riggs, of Mountain Home; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
