J C Dill
J C Dill, age 64, of Ward, Arkansas, died Wednesday, September 1, 2004. He was the retired owner of Dill Excavating Co. and a cook at Sue’s Café. He was a man who loved children and was very loyal to his friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sydney Dill of Ward; one son, Ronnie (Beth) Dill of Ward; father-in-law Sid Guyot of Beebe; brother-in-law Bud Guyot and his children of Beebe; sister-in-law Leota Dill of Griffithville; nephews Donnie Dean Dill and Paul Waire both of Griffithville and Charlie Waire of Searcy; niece Marsha Pate of Little Rock; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Myrtle Dill; one brother, Chub Dill; and sisters, Jewel Waire and Shirley Purcell. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family.

Louis Jessie Harrell
Louis Jessie Harrell, 89, of Jacksonville died Aug. 30, 2004. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his sister, Hazel Crow; two daughters - Martha Horn of Hot Springs and Donna Cox of Jacksonville; two sons - Lonnie Walker Harrell of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Jerry Louis Harrell of Cabot; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday at Harmony Baptist Church. Burial was in Harmony cemetery. North Little Rock Funeral Home was be in charge.
Paulette Deuink
Paulette Deuink, age 54, of Cabot died Sept. 1, 2004. She was born at Jacksonville. She was employed by CenturyTel as an administrative assistant for over 25 years.
She is survived by one son, Matt Nation of Cabot; two daughters, Christy Shearer of Bryant, Michelle Messer and husband Shan of Paragould; one sister, Patricia Healey of Texas; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 4, in the Chapel of Cabot Funeral Home with Lawrence Vowan officiating. Burial followed in Sumner cemetery.
Joshua Ray Kroha
Joshua Ray Kroha, 12, of Rhinelander, Wis., died Aug. 17, 2004 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wis. He attended Rhinelander Catholic Central School. He enjoyed fishing, biking and skateboarding.
Survivors include his parents, Joel and Trudy (Ness) Kroha; brothers, Matthew, Michael and Ryan; his paternal grandparents, John and Marion Kroha of Milwaukee, Wis.; his maternal grandmother, June Ness Martin of Carlisle’ maternal great-grandmother, Florence Maidment of Milwaukee, Wis.
Funeral services were Aug. 21, 2004 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rhinelander, Wis. with Deacon Ron Bosi officiating. Interment was in Cassian/Union Grove cemetery.
Memorial may be made in Josh’s name to Rhinelander Catholic School.
Hugh M. Miller
Hugh M. Miller, age 79, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004.
He was a member of Lonoke Baptist Church, a Navy WWII veteran, stationed on a minesweeper ship, a 32nd Degree Mason having received his 50-year pin, and was a retired mechanic of Missouri Pacific Truck Lines, North Little Rock.
Preceding him in death was his wife of 49 years, Dean Priest Miller, and a daughter, Sue Ann Miller.
He was loved and will be missed by Joe and Rita Moody and other special friends.
Graveside service and final resting place will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at Lonoke cemetery. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Allen L. Sosebee Jr.
Allen Leonard “Lindy” Sosebee Jr., 64, of North Little Rock, died Sept. 5, 2004.
He was a self-employed masonry contractor, a former member and president of the North Little Rock Jaycees. In his early years he was recipient of the Arion Award for his ability to play the trumpet, a member of the Arkansas Razorback Marching Band and former Exhaulted Ruler of the North Little Rock Elks Club.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Steven Sosebee of Lonoke and Dr. William Scott Sosebee of Russellville; two daughters, Susan Lynn Sosebee and Shannon Diane Lewis, both of Little Rock; one brother, William Lee Sosebee of North Little Rock.
Funeral services were Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Park. North Little Rock Funeral Home was in charge.

Edward Reisinger
Edward Reisinger, 61, of May-flower died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004.
He was a member of the Northside Apostolic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Carolyn Swift Reisinger; his mother, Doris Reisinger Reynolds; two daughters - Tracy Washam of Mayflower and Dotty Reisinger of Conway; by two stepsons - Jerry Aycock of Austin, and Keith Aycock of Pass Christian, Miss.; one stepdaughter, Ruth Aycock of Mayflower; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sept. 8, at the Northside Apostolic Church, with burial in Mayflower cemetery. Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Conway.
Shirley Ann Horton
Shirley Ann Horton, 58, died Aug. 31, 2004.
She was a member of Roberson Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Horton; two children, Robbin Cordell and Galen Horton; three grandchildren; all of Lonoke; seven brothers and sisters, Lynn Staton, El Dorado, John Staton, Virginia, Everett Staton, Hot Springs, Carroll Staton, Texas, Jennie Haggard, Michigan, Aldah Hogue, North Little Rock, and Clara Ferguson, Lonoke.
Services were Sept. 3, Roberson Baptist Church, Furlow, by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke with Interment was in Lonoke cemetery.

Martha Haltom
Martha Haltom, 73, of Gurdon died Saturday.
She was a teacher at the Gurdon Public Schools, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gurdon and a member of the Ora Steed Circle.
Survivors include: husband, Clarence Haltom, Gurdon; son, Alan Haltom, Benton; daughter, Darlene Gates, Cabot; brother, Robert Vandivere, Perryville; sister, Allene Spencer, Prescott; four grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Rose Hedge cemetery by Horne Funeral Home, Gurdon.
