Thomas R. Fulmer
Thomas Riley Fulmer, age 93, formerly of Lonoke died Jan. 29, 2004. He was a veteran and a retired brick mason.
Survivors include his wife Nancy Fulmer, two daughters, Patsy Smith of Scott and Hazel Dean Reynolds of Sherwood; three sons, Jerry Fulmer of Scott, Terry Fulmer and Tom Fulmer of Conway; two stepsons, Charles Keathley of North Little Rock and James Smith of Tennessee; 21 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one brother, Grady Fulmer of North Little Rock.
Funeral Services were Monday at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke with interment in Lonoke cemetery.
Wanda Louise Holt
Wanda Louise Holt, 76, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2004.
Survivors include her husband, Alva Holt of Beebe, two daughters; Wanda Arrowood, of Beebe and Patricia Staley of Ward; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother; Garland Gable of Conway and three sisters; Jean Parnell, Katherine Evans both of Lonoke and Bessie Mae Barber of Conway.
Services will be 2 pm Wednesday, Feb. 4 at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke with interment at Lebanon cemetery. Visitation 6–8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
C. Max Pruett
Clarence Max Pruett, 86, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004. He was a World War II Veteran, and a Pearl Harbor survivor.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; three sons, Max ‘Mike’ Pruett, Cabot, Charles Kuykendall, California, Richard ‘Skip’ Pruett, Lonoke; five daughters, Mary Ann Austin, Russelville, Pam Dougan, Oklahoma, Melissa King, Kentucky, Belinda Kelley and Rhonda Robinson both of Lonoke. He was blessed with 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Graveside services were Wednesday at Oak Grove cemetery, with Bro. Melburn Hill officiating.

Bobby Joe Davis
Bobby Joe Davis, age 74 of the Furlow Community died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Jean; sisters, Odessa Holzhaver of Gillett and Emma Loch of Benton, Wash.; brother, Billy Carr of Russellville; sister-in-law Abbie Ruth DeShazo of Texas.
He was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, a 32 Degree Mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge #51 in Lonoke, and a Shriner. He was retired from the Lonoke Police Department, Remington Arms and the Arkansas National Guard. He was a member of the Furlow Water Ass! ociation and an avid amateur radio operator.
Funeral Services conducted by Rev. Bob Marble will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004 at Concord United Methodist Church under the direction of Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004 at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the Concord cemetery Association.
Ara C. Walker Gwin
Ara C. Walker Gwin, 87, of Sheridan, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004.
Mrs. Gwin was a homemaker and a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Sheridan. She was a resident of Spring Creek Living Center for six years.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Steve Gwin, two brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Gwin Sr., of the home, son Dennis B. of Sheridan; two daughters, Dolores French of Cabot, Linda Faye Graves of Sheridan; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 24, at Buie Funeral Chapel with Reverend Bruce Bennett officiating. Burial fol-lowed at Lost Creek cemetery in Sheridan., under the direc-tion of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
H. Marchelle Thebeau
H. Marchelle Kirk Thebeau, age 39, of Ward, died Friday, April 16, 2004. She was a member of Sylvania Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include Mark Thebeau; a brother Doug Kirk, Jr.; and a sister, Jeannette Boyles, both of Ward; her parents, Doug Kirk Sr. and Faye Kirk of Ward; and a grandmothers, Gladys Marshall and Christine Sharp.
Family received friends at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral was 10 a.m. Monday, April 19, 2004, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Sylvania cemetery.
Maysel Pauline Mask
Maysel Pauline Mask, age 82, of Lonoke, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004. Mrs. Mask was a schoolteacher in the Crossroads and Wattensaw communities during World War II. She served as Deputy Tax Collector for Lonoke County for many years. Mrs. Mask was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church all of her life and served as the church clerk.
She is survived by one son, Dwight Mask of Lonoke; one daughter, Myra Bryant of Carlisle; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2004, at New Hope Baptist Church, with burial in Hebron cemetery.
Earl Jackson
Earl Jackson, age 91, died April 20, 2004. He was a former Lonoke County Sheriff, Lonoke Tax Assessor and Lonoke Postmaster, a 32 degree Mason and a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Marines.
Preceding him in death is his wife, Lucy Fletcher Jackson. He is survived by his son, Fletcher Jackson of Little Rock; daughter Carolyn High of Lonoke and nephews Alec and Jeff Fletcher of Lonoke.
A graveside service was Friday, April 23 at Lonoke cemetery.
The family received friends at Mr. Jackson’s home.
Paul R. Guntharp
Paul Raymond Guntharp, 87, of Beebe, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004. He was retired from Pickens & Bond Construction Company, a member of Floyd Assembly of God Church and a member of Beebe Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Guntharp; one son, Robert Ray Guntharp of Aurora, Colo.; five daughters, Barbara Verkler and Paula Shaeffer both of Cabot, Gail Johnson of Austin, Texas, Linda Hines of Clearwater, Fla. and Becky Blanchard of Beebe; one brother, Millard Guntharp of Jonesboro; three sisters, Hazel Massey of Illinois, Beve Lou Goza of Memphis and Leota Hardin of Illinois; 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral was Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Westbrook Funeral Home with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
James E. Pope
James E. Pope, age 81, of Cabot, died Saturday, April 24, 2004. He was a retired roofer. He is survived by one son, Floyd Pope of Little Rock; daughters, Debra Lody of Beebe and Zola Anderson of Cabot; two brothers, Ralph Pope of Jacksonville and Walter Pope of Gresham, Ore.; two sisters, Betty Tapp of Little Rock and Ruby Swaffar of Russellville; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral was Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
Elaine Horner
Elaine Horner, age 83, of Romance, Arkansas, died Saturday. She was a retired registered nurse. Surviving are sons, Oden Edgar Horner of Great Falls, Montana, Daniel Stewart of Laurel, Maryland and Matthew Horner of Cabot; daughter Mary Ann Longley of Romance; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Cremation arrangements by Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
Inez Hazel Abbott
Inez Hazel Bridges Abbott, 92, of North Little Rock died April 22, 2004.
She was born March 10, 1912 in Cabot, Arkansas, and was a member of Crosspoint Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Reba Abbott, of North Little Rock and JoAnn Murphy, of Ward; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Crosspoint Baptist Church, Baptist Hospice or Arkansas Hospice.
Funeral services were Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Sumner cemetery. North Little Rock Funeral Home was in charge.
