Beatrice Hill
Beatrice Hill, 86, of Canoga Park, Calif., died April 11, 2004.
She is survived by two sons Robert Harrell Hill, Canoga Park, Calif., and Richard C. Hill, Cabot; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was a longtime active member of Mobberly Avenue Baptist Church, Longview, Texas.
Graveside services were Thursday, April 15, at Lakeview Gardens, Texas.
Pamela Yandle
Pamela Yandle, 81, of Jacksonville died April 13, 2004.
Survivors include her six grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Otheal B. Campbell
Otheal B. Campbell, age 84, of Cabot died Tuesday, April 13, 2004.
Survivors are two sons, one daughter, one sister, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Friday, April 16, Hilltop Baptist Church, Cabot. Burial was in Sumner cemetery under direction of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
Roger E. Tapson
Roger Eugene Tapson, 81, of Sherman, Texas, died Monday, April 12, 2004.
He served his country during WWII. He fought in the European Theatre. Through the years he has remained active in the VFW. He was a professional insurance agent. He had his own agency, Tapson-Wood Insurance Agency. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Cabot.
Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Hutcherson Tapson; son, Mitchum Wilhite Tapson of Cabot, Jeffrey Mark Tapson of Los Angeles, Calif., Neil Anthony Tapson of St. Charles, Mo., and Stuart Randolph Tapson of West Plains, Mo.; stepsons, Rodney Hutcherson and Dennis Hutcherson; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held April 15, 2004, at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Dallas/Fort Worth National cemetery.
James R. Harmon
James Robert Harmon, 84, of North Little Rock, died Thursday, April 15, 2004.
Born Sept. 4, 1919, in Carlisle, he was an Army veteran of WWII. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1982.
He is survived by his wife, Dymple Harmon of North Little Rock; a brother, Vernon Harmon of Little Rock; a daughter, Sharon Matte of Irving, Texas; four sons, Bob Harmon of Sherwood, Randy Harmon of North Little Rock, C.V. Ford of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Jerry Ford of Cleburne, Texas; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was April 19, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park, North Little Rock.

Linda Covington
Linda Covington, 60, died April 16, 2004.
She is survived by her son, Chuck Sanders of Lonoke; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two stepsisters; and stepfather, G.W. Coker of Lonoke.
A memorial service was held Monday at Palm Street Church of Christ. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
H. Marchelle Thebeau
H. Marchelle Kirk Thebeau, 39, of Ward, died Friday, April 16, 2004.
She was a member of Sylvania Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are her husband, Mark Thebeau; siblings, Doug Kirk Jr. and Jeannette Boyles, both of Ward; parents, Doug Kirk Sr. and Faye Kirk of Ward; and her grandmothers, Gladys Marshall and Christine Sharp.
Funeral was Monday, April 19, 2004, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Sylvania cemetery.
William A. Davis
William A. Davis, 101, died April 16, 2004.
He is survived by stepsons Mike Polston, Norman Polston, and Gary Polston; one stepdaughter, Judy Polston; sister, Elsie Spurlock; seven step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Underwood
Kenneth D. Underwood, 65, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004.
Survivors: wife, Gwendolyn; two daughters - Tammy Loftis and Monique Pifer; two sons - Tim Medford and Stanley Medford; two brothers - Clarence and Lewis Underwood; four sisters - Liz Hansel, Mary Lee Vaught, Dorothy Ingle, and Frances England; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were April 17, at the First Baptist Church in Carlisle. Interment at the Old Carlisle cemetery in Carlisle. Arrangements by Westbrook Funeral Home.
Boyce Mitchell Moore
Boyce Mitchell Moore, 36, of Cabot passed away February 22, 2004. He was preceded in death by his father, Boyce F. Moore. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Moore of the home; mother, Mrs. Boyce F. (Ann) Moore; sisters, Amy Lee (and Matthew) Gilliland of Ocean Springs, MS and Ann Marie Moore; grandmother, Westelle Moore of Blytheville; mother and father-in-law, Thomas and Grace Kulpa of Cabot; sister-in-law, Sherry (and Damian) Lux of Springfield, MA; nieces, Joyce Marie Klonts and Judy Carol Gilliland; dogs, Briquette, Spencer, Sidney; and cat, Hershey. Mitch attended the University of Arkansas, was an avid Razorback fan, and enjoyed traveling. He was co-owner of Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home and a Project Analyst at Maybelline-Garnier.

Dave Moragne of Lonoke, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Willie Jean Moragne; one sister, Francis Moragne; and one brother, Willie Moragne both of North Little Rock; 11 children, Gwendolyn Cooney, Tina Carroll, Shelly Walker, Donald Moragne, of Lonoke; Ronald Moragne of Pine Bluff, Felecia Moragne, Dave Moragne, Robert Moragne of North Little Rock; Reginald Moragne of Little Rock; Carlton Moragne of Jacksonville; and Larry Johnson of Chicago, Ill.; 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Saturday, Feb. 21, 11 a.m. Gateway Fellowship International, Lonoke. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Juanita Lingo
Juanita Norton Lingo, 77, departed this earth to be with her Heavenly Father February 18, 2004. She was a member of Steel Bridge Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her mother and father, Gladys and Bennie Norton of Lonoke, her beloved husband Harry (Scooter) Lingo of Lonoke, and her sister Lucille Ring of Overland Park, KS. She is survived by two sons, Jeff Lingo and his wife Athena, of Lonoke: David Lingo and his wife Robin, of Humboldt, TN: grandchildren, Greg Lingo and his wife, Amanda; Lindsay Lingo: and two great grandchildren Keith and Grant, all of Lonoke.
Also surviving her are five sisters Ruth Cook (Alfred) of Pine Bluff, AR, Owana Waddel, Lonoke, AR, Betty Brumett (Jude) of Bismarck, AR, Mary Grendell (Don) of Dardanelle, AR, Minnie Brown (Jimmy) of Grandbury, TX: Three brothers, Bennie Norton, Jr. (Nell) of Jasper, GA, Joe Norton (Pam) of Green Forest, AR, Don Norton (Joan) of Bryant, AR; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were at Boyd Funeral Chapel, 2 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2004. Burial followed in the Lonoke cemetery. The family received friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
