Jewell Fisher
Jewell Boydston Fisher, 81, of North Little Rock died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004.
She was retired from Dillard’s Department Store with 32 years of service.
She is survived by four sons, Larry Fisher, of North Little, Gerald Fisher, of Vilonia, Barry Fisher, of Aubrey, Texas, and Mike Fisher, of Cabot; three daughters, Frances Ward, of Dallas, Texas, Judy Curtis and Beverly Jarrett, of Conway; two sisters, Betty Cureton and Wanda McCall, both of North Little Rock; 21 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
Janette Overton
Janette Overton, 42, died Jan. 17, 2004.
Survivors mother, Patsy Best; daughter, Ashley Hocut, England; brothers, George Weathers, Lonoke, Harvey Best, Sherwood, Phillip Best, Virginia, Tommy Weathers, DeWitt; sister, Alicia Gonzales, England; and a granddaughter.
Services: Jan. 21, Wilson Funeral Home. Interment: Mulberry cemetery.
Geneva Collier
Geneva Elaine Haynie Collier, 93, of Cabot passed away January 26, 2004. Born October 14, 1910 in Mt. Springs to Thomas and Bessie (Germany) Haynie, she was preceded in death by her husband Dewey; her parents; sister, Grace; brothers, Thomas and Kenneth; daughter-in-law Murnell Mundy; and grandson-in-law, Randy Hicks.
She is survived by four sons, Harold (Dorothy), Dewey Wayne (Eva Dell), Troy (Wanda), Richard (Patricia); one daughter, Doris Vaye Morris (Emmitt); 11 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was retired from Franklin Electric and a member of Cabot United Methodist Church. Memorials may be sent to Cabot United Methodist Church or Mt. Springs cemetery.

John Elton Griffin
John Elton Griffin, 80, of Austin, Arkansas died Jan. 23, 2004. He was born Sept. 15, 1923. He retired from Fones Brothers Hardware. He was a member of Baugh Chapel Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Armed Forces, serving in Europe during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawson and Velma Griffin and brother Virgil. He is survived by his wife, Christine; daughter, Reba Barrow and husband Marvin of Conway; sister, Loetta Bradford of Greenbrier; 3 brothers, Thomas of Damascus, J.C. of Austin, AR, and Lawrence of Benton; and grandson, Benjamin Barrow of Conway.
Funeral Services were Monday, Jan. 26 at Cabot Funeral Home Chapel with interment at 16th Section cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Baugh Chapel Baptist Church building fund.
Evie Lee Wooley
Evie Lee Buchanan Wooley, 73, of Ward died January 21, 2004. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Freida L. Wooley, one brother and six sisters. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Leroy H. Wooley, Jr.; sisters, Josephine Reed and Virginia Eagle, both of Des Arc; several nieces and nephews.

Rosalee Woolverton
Rosalee Bernice Woolverton, age 69, of Cabot, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, as a result of an auto accident. She was formerly of Turlock, Calif. She was a retired dietary worker at a hospital.
She is survived by one son, Michael Boykin of Eugene, Ore.; four daughters, Rosemary, of Temple, Texas, Pam Wooten, of Florida, Kimberly Vines and Roxann Rowland, of Austin; two sisters, Pat Evans of Turlock, Calif. and Liddia Kohen, of Atwater, Calif.; five grandchildren, and 11 great-grand-children.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Austin, with burial in Oak Grove cemetery.

Troy Elden Reynolds, 74, died Jan. 22, 2004 at his home.
Survived by children, Wade Reynolds, Emma Redding, and Lavern Reynolds of Conway, Troy Reynolds, Mt Vernon, Harold Reynolds and Linda Tallman, Carlisle, and Johnny Redding, Beebe; brother, Jess Reynolds of Missouri; sisters, Mary Lee Fowlkes, England, and Lucille Guest of Oklahoma, , 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sharon Freewill Baptist Church in Naylor; interment at Sharon cemetery, by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.
James A. Boyd
James Anderson Boyd, age 61, died Jan. 21, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Boyd; children, Pam Davis and Kenneth Watson of Little Rock, Jimmy Cates of Benton, Brady Watson of Texas and Sheri Henry of Sherwood; one brother, Larry Boyd of Cabot, a sister, Linda Person of Oklahoma; three grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. The Cremains were laid to rest in Pinecrest Memorial Park & Garden, Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
J.W. (Bud) Ford
J.W. (Bud) Ford, age 93, died Jan. 25, 2004. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.
Survivors include his children, J.W. Ford, Jr. of Oklahoma, Sue Burgess, Louise McCuin and Linda McMillan of Cabot, Peggy Eagle of Lonoke, Donald Ford of North Little Rock and Nancy Evans of Ward; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt Zion Methodist Church, where he had been a member for many years. Burial followed in Hicks cemetery with arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
William E. Riley
William Eugene Riley, age 67, died Jan. 19, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Cummings Riley; a daughter, Angela Jewell Campos of Riverside, Calif.; three sisters, Ollie Bell Stivers of Beebe, Mammie Boggs of Cabot and Mae Winders of Earl; two brothers, Charles Riley of Memphis and Lamar Riley of Springdale.
Funeral services were Thursday at Roberson Baptist Church with interment in Mt. Carmel cemetery with arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Glenn Prine
Glenn “Prune” Prine, 49, of DeValls Bluff died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004.
He was a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Prine; two brothers, David Hollingshead of DeValls Bluff and Ronnie Aultman of Cabot; three sisters, Diane Raper and Rita Leistikow, both of Hazen, and Vickie Cote of Des Arc.
Funeral services were Jan. 24, at the Missionary Baptist Church in DeValls Bluff. Burial was in the Hazen cemetery.
Willie Bea Glover
Willie Bea Glover, 79, of Little Rock, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004.
She was a retired laboratory technician with Arkansas Milk Producers with 25 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she also was active in the Lydia Sunday School class.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Joe Glover, of Jacksonville ; her daughter, Rita Watson, of Kansas City, Mo.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Burrows and Freda Tucker; her brothers, Erby Ball and Freddie Mack Ball.
The funeral service was Jan. 27, in the chapel at First Baptist Church, with burial in Glover cemetery at Cabot.
