Vera Mahoney, 83, of Cabot passed away Dec. 31, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Lewis Mahoney of the home; 3 sons, George, Elmer, Jr. and Paul Mahoney; daughter, Nina Mahoney; 2 brothers, Lewis and Curtis Staggs; sister Ola Mae Clayton, all of Cabot; 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004 beginning at 4 p.m. at her home, 374 Mahoney Rd, Cabot. Funeral Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4 at Russell Chapel Nazarene Church with pastor Dixon officiating and interment in King cemetery. Arrangements by Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
Connye Richey
Our loving and precious Connye Guntharp Richey, 63, has gone home to be with our Lord Dec. 31, 2003. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church, Eaton AR.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella McCall Guffey and brother, Raymond Guntharp. Survivors include daughter, Veronica Perry; two grandchildren, Samantha and Tyler Perry, of Cabot; father, Paul and Lucille Guntharp of Beebe; 4 sisters, Barbara Verkler, Paula Shaeffer of Cabot, Gail Johnson of TX and Becky Benton of Beebe; brother, Robert Guntharp of CO.

Dena Vann
Dena Vann, age 83, of Austin, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004. She was a farmer and housewife. She was a member of 16th Section Methodist Church and a member of the 345 Chapter of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one sister, Elsie Lewis of Austin; one brother-in-law, J. C. Vann, of North Little Rock.
Visitation was Monday, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral was Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at 16th Section cemetery.

Graham R. Noble
Graham Raymond Noble, 94, of Beebe, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2003. He was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Beebe and was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department, having worked there for over 30 years.
Survivors include a son, Sonny Noble of Beebe; daughter, Billie Hern of Dallas, a brother, Rufus (R.E.) Noble of Cabot; a sister, Raynell Stokes of Batesville; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
Arlene Clark
Arlene Clark, 70, of Ward died Jan. 3, 2004. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert E. Clark and survived by son, Robert “Butch” Clark; daughters, Chris Lanham and Cheryl Beasley; 2 grandchildren.

Dora Marie Beverage Williams, 91, of Cabot died Dec. 29, 2003.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Beverage of Ward and Charles Beverage of Cabot; daughter Barbara Fulmer of Cabot; stepson, Clyde Williams of Morrilton; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mamie Lee Utley
Mamie Lee Utley, age 90, of Ward, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cabot.
She is survived by one son, Ray Utley of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Faye Duke of Cabot and Margie Spence of Ward; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Thursday, Jan. 1, at First Baptist Church of Cabot, with burial in Mt. Carmel cemetery.

Robert Ion Saylor Jr.
Robert Ion Saylor Jr., infant, of Cabot died Dec. 30, 2003.
Survivors include his mother and father; grandparents, Suzanne (Gary) Zulfer, Bruce (Becky) Saylor; and great-grandmother, Dorothy Mosley.
Graveside services were Jan. 2, at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, in Jacksonville.

Douglas G. Ragsdale
Douglas Glen Ragsdale, age 77, formerly of Cabot, died Dec. 30, 2003.
He was retired from the U.S. Navy. He served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his son, David Ragsdale of Klamath Falls, Ore.; daughter, Fran May of Columbia, Tenn.; and daughter, Vickie Glenn of Murphy, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were Jan. 3, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Forest Hills Funeral Home, Alexander. Burial was at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Ray U. Glover
Ray U. Glover, age 86, of North Little Rock died Jan. 2, 2004.
He retired from ABF Freight Systems, and was a member of Teamsters Local 878. He was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Glover of North Little Rock; one sister, Gladys Brooks of Cabot; daughter, Sue Collins; and son, Larry Glover, all of North Little Rock; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were Jan. 5, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Glover cemetery in Lonoke.
Matthew David Clark
Matthew David Clark, infant son of Don and Natalia Clark of Cabot, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004.
He is survived by two brothers, Donovan and Garrett Clark; great-grandparents, Agnes Clark of Torrance, Calif., Alicia and Jay D. Dillon of Longview, Texas; grandparents Lillian and John A. Hernandez of Longview, Texas, Mack and Jane Walker of Texarkana, and Larry and Sydney Clark of Coronado, Calif..
Funeral services were Monday at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
