Tony Dewayne Collins
Tony Dewayne Collins, 26, of Trumann passed away July 28, 2004 at a Memphis Hospital.
He was a farmer and a member of the McCormick Baptist Church at McCormick.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Lee Collins, Sr.
He is survived by his parents, Roy Lee Collins, Sr. and Kathrin Medlock Collins; two brothers, Roy Lee "Junior" Collins, Jr. of Bono and Don Wayne Collins of Trumann; one sister, Tina Marie Collins of Trumann, several nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends.
Graveside services were Saturday, July 31 at the Spotts Cemetery located near Poughkeepsie with Jim Frazier officiating.
Active pallbearers were Donnie Moody, Junior Adams, Jerry Lee Collins, Jr., Robert Williams, Tony Tolbert and Larry Floyd. Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Holt, Gabirel Dixon, Keith Collins and Bob Clark.

Sandra Kay Bennett
Funeral services for Sandra Kay Bennett, 47, who died Thursday, July 29, 2004 at her home, were August 1, 2004 in the chapel of McNabb's Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Bennett of Pocahontas; one son, Chris Bennett of Pocahontas; and a sister, Carol Meilke of Trumann.
Bennett was a member of Sutton Free Will Baptist Church at Pocahontas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Pete" and Jerry Holly Ragsdale.
Randy Scott officiated, and a graveside service will followed in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Anthony Coplin, Dave Dailey, Mike Davis, Joe Difani, Brian Meredith and Mike Ogels.

David Glenn Speakman
David Glenn Speakman, 67, of Trumann died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004 at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
He was a self-employed contractor and an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Arnold Speakman of the home; a daughter, Kimberly Dawn Flatt of Mount Clemens, Mich.; two stepdaughters, Cynthia Canales of Waxahachie, Texas, and Melissa Wells of Cleburne, Texas; a stepson, Timothy D. Smith of Azle, Texas; two sisters, Edith Ackerman and Marsha Speakman, both of Trumann; two brothers, Laymon Speakman of Harrisburg and Jerry Speakman of Trumann; two grandsons; and four step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Speakman II, his parents David and a brother.
Funeral services were Friday, August 6 at Thompson Funeral Home chapel in Trumann, with the Rev. Darrel Miller officiating. Burial followe in Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers were C.A. Jones, Thomas Curton, Harold Pankey, Bob Stotts, Kelly Webb and William Carter.
Cliff Richardson served as an honorary pallbearer.

Glenn P. Campbell
Glenn P. Campbell, 74, of Trumann died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004 at NEA Medical Center.
Born in Ravenden, he was a lifelong resident of Trumann. He was a retired mechanic and of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Secrease Campbell of the home; a son, Rodney Campbell of Tulsa, Okla.; two stepsons, Carl Long of Jonesboro and Jeff Long of Harrisburg; two daughters, Dianna Whittingham of Trumann and Carole Mackey of Bryant; a stepdaughter, Regina Tucker of Thayer, Mo.; a brother, Millard Campbell of Tuckerman; three sisters, Ruth Maxwell of Trumann, Ruby O'Dell of Oxford, Miss., and Alma Nash of Jenson Beach, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Q. and Dessie Haynes Campbell; two sisters; and three brothers.
Funeral services and burial were private.

Joyce M. Johnson
Joyce M. Johnson, 64, formerly of Trumann, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004 in Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis. A Baptist, she was a retired customer service representative for Warehouse Foods.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Johnson of Crawfordsville; three sons, Jody William Johnson of Earle, Randy Lee Johnson and Eric Justin Johnson, both of West Memphis; two sisters, Georgia Furnish of Loves Park, Ill., and Betty Sue Davis of West Memphis; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were Saturday, August 14 in the chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with Steven Bailey officiating. Burial followed in the Manila Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Steve Johnson, Rick Accurso, Lester Parker, Keith Johnson, Victor May and Brian Hayes.
Memorials may be made to the Earle Baptist Church or the Arthritis Foundation.

Kenneth R. Simmons
Kenneth R. Simmons, 66, of Trumann passed away on Aug. 14, 2004 at his residence of natural causes.
He was born and Trumann and had lived here for his entire lifetime. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a retired electrician from the General Electric Company in Jonesboro and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Ester Clara Parker Simmons; two brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Simmons of the home; one son, Kevin Simmons of Trumann; one dauther, Beverly Ferguson of Trumann; two sisters, Lessie Throgmartin and Wilma Walker, both of Trumann; four grandchildren, Heather Ferguson, Jeremy Ferguson, Erica Simmons King and Rachel Simmons and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 17 at the First Assembly of God in Trumann with Rev. Kenneth Doke and Dane Hall officiating, burial followed at Jonesboro Memorial Park in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers were Taylor Morgan, Ray Jones, Ricky Harris, Ronnie Maxwell, Jeremy Ferguson and Landon Owens. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Williams, Mack Johnson, Vernest Holt, Curt Owens and Lester Bradford.

Louise Rost
Louise Rost, 80, of Bernie, Mo. passed away on Aug. 15, 2004 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston of natural causes.
She was born in Florence, Ala. and had lived most of her life in Trumann before moving to Missouri in 1996. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Rouse and Lester Rouse and her parents, Charlie and Ruth Wigginton Rouse.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy White of Bernie, Mo.; one son, Louis Rost, Jr. of Trumann; two sisters, Pauline Timbs and Reba Henderson, both of Trumann; three brothers, Robert Rouse of Weiner, Herman Rouse of Benton and Clifford Rouse of Trumann; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Aug. 18 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Johnson officiating, burial followed in Farm Hill Cemetery in Harrisburg.
Active pallbearers were Jeremy Gooch, Joshua Gooch, Keith Rost, Scottie Rost, J.R. White and Ronnie Cluck.

Mabel Harrison
Mabel Harrison, 78, of Jonesboro died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born at Dell, she was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include three sons, William E. Harrison of Jonesboro, Terry Harrison of Trumann and Tony Harrison of Green briar; five daughters, Annette Needham and Debby Flood, both of Jonesboro, Carolyn Westmoreland of Trumann, Irene Britt of Harrisburg and Wanda Mason of Bay; one brother, Walt Wilson of Wilmer, Texas; one sister, Christine Rohr of Tacoma, Wash.; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Harrison; two sons, Billy Harrison and Randy Harrison; her parents, Charles and Sula Bell Wilson; two brothers; three sisters; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Aug. 9 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann, with the Rev. Leland Worlow officiating. Burial followed in Mount Pisgah Cemetery at Jonesboro.
Pallbearers were Brian Gibbs, Phillip Bellah, Ray Brown, Jason Brown, Michael Needham and Gary Needham.
