Larry Love
CLARKSVILLE - Larry Dee Love, 60, of Clarksville died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was born
Nov. 3, 1948, at Russellville, son of the late D.L. and Virginia Sue Brewer Love, a 1967 graduate of Russellville High School and a Christian. He was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Maxwell.
Survivors include his wife, Luraine Hamilton Love; a son, Larry Love and wife, Tammy, of Dardanelle; two daughters, Laura Love of Russellville and April Fales and husband, Todd, of Clarksville; two brothers, Roger Love and wife, Kim, of Pottsville and Robert Love and wife, Sammye, of Dardanelle; a sister, Susan Kemp of Russellville; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The body will be cremated. Arrangements are by Hardwicke Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

ATKINS - Gary Lee Boyce, 54, of Atkins died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Lemley Funeral Chapel.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday.
Elizabeth Pierce
DARDANELLE - Georgia Elizabeth (Webb) Pierce, 90, of Little Rock passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008.
She was born
Feb. 9, 1918, in Casa to Jeanie Mignon (Hundley) Webb and Jacob Kirkendall Webb. Mrs. Pierce was a member of Central Baptist Church in Little Rock. She graduated from Lake Village High School. She was employed as a billing clerk and later became the only female rate clerk in the state of Arkansas with Superior Forwarding Truck Line for 25 years. Her hobbies included reading, needlework and watching John Wayne movies. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dr. Pearl Shoudel; and an infant brother.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Lynn Robertson of Bryant; a son, Theo David Pierce and wife, Candy, of Little Rock; two granddaughters, Cheryl Clark and husband, Cary, of Sheridan and Christy Snell of Maumelle; two grandsons, Darren Hooker of Portales, N.M., and Ben Pierce of Little Rock; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at Cornwell Chapel with John McCourt officiating. Burial will be in Bryant Cove Cemetery
at Casa. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home.
An open visitation will be until 7 p.m. today.

ATKINS - David Daniels, 59, of Atkins, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
He was born
April 26, 1949, in Gallatin, Tenn., and was a truck driver.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Barbara Daniels; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Ronald Maynaro, Stephanie and Steve McDaniel, and Patricia Obrien; and two grandchildren, Dustin Kemp and Brittany Magers both of Atkins.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service.

DARDANELLE - Elsie Dortch, 95, of Dardanelle died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Mitchell’s Nursing Home in Danville.
An open visitation will be all day today at Cornwell Funeral Home.
A private burial will be Thursday, Dec. 18, at Brearley Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home.

Ellis Whitted, 60, of Pottsville, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at his home.

CLARKSVILLE - Audrey Estelene Skaggs, 85, of Lamar died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Countryside Manor in Lamar.
She was born
April 28, 1923, in Osage, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lela Alice Casey Morrison; husband, Goald Eugene Skaggs; sons, Argus Faye Skaggs and Roy Lee Skaggs; daughter, Edra Jean King; a brother; and five sisters.
Survivors include sons, James Burl Skaggs of Knoxville, Kenneth Dean Skaggs of Wynne and Chester Blaine Skaggs of Lamar; daughters, Geneva Sue Morland of Lamar, Linda Kaye Clayborn of Clarksville, Deborah Darlene Bjorgum of Hagarville, Donna Mae Roddy of Lavaca and Robin Gail Clark of Lamar; 24 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at Roller-Cox Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Hagarville Cemetery. Arrangements are by Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Betty Bell
Betty Allene Bell, 72, a resident of Russellville, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at the National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs.
She was born
Oct. 13, 1936, at Eagletown, Okla., to William and Deliah Crunk Hensley. She was a protestant Christian and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leroy Bell; her step-father who raised her, Leonard Crain; and a half-brother, Clinton Crain.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Randy Sander of Broken Bow, Okla.; two half-brothers, Gary Crain of Dover and Everett Crain of Camden; three half-sisters, Juanelle Coon of Texas, Nelda Houston and her husband, Tommy, of Atkins, and Mable Crain of Dover; two grandchildren, Brooke and her husband, Shawn Horn of Pottsville and Clay and his wife, Darah Luper of Oklahoma; four great-grandchildren; and her four beloved pet dogs.
There will be a visitation from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at Shinn Funeral Service.
