Oliana "Oli" Rene White, age 17, a resident of Dover, Arkansas, died Friday, June 21, 2002 in Dover, Arkansas. She was born
on May 22, 1985 in Russellville, Arkansas, to David Powell and Lori (Glover) White Latimer. She was a Home Schooled Student who achieved a 3.71 GPA, and worked for JimGlo Kennels in Dover. "Oli" was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald C. Powell, and an uncle, Ron Powell. Ms. White was a great friend to a lot of people, a peacekeeper, joker, music and movie lover, and a good sister. She a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Russellville. Bessie Sexton Wilson, age 96, a resident of Russellville, Arkansas, formerly of Dover, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 7, 2002 at the home of her daughter Christine Heath, with her loving family around her. She was born
on August 18, 1905 in Newton County, AR, to the late John and Arizona (Freeman) Reddell and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Dewey Sexton and Leroy Wilson; two sons, James Sexton and Gay Sexton; one daughter, Jewel Campbell; two grandsons, Tommy Sumers and Paul Campbell; two brothers, Mitchell and Willie Reddell; and two sisters Effie Reddell and Gracie Collins. She was a member of Dover Assembly of God. Bessie is survived by two daughters, Christine (& Willie) Heath, Russellville, Arkansas; Avanell (& Loyd) Frazier, Dardanelle, Arkansas; one son, Eugene (& Fay) Sexton, Pelsor, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren; thirty-five great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; one brother, Chester (& Teen) Reddell, Van Buren, Arkansas; one sister, Vosie Mcain, Liberty, Missouri; one daughter-in-law, Judy Sexton, Dover, Arkansas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mildred Witt, age 83, a resident of Russellville, AR, died Saturday, June 29, 2002 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, AR. She was born
on April 9, 1919 in London, AR, to Sam and Lily (Fincham) Kendrick. She married
Walter O. Witt on November 30, 1935, in a ditch in front of the old London Masonic Lodge, at London, Arkansas. John Doyle McAlister held a match while George McDonald, a local justice of the peace, read and presided over the ceremony. The following Monday, she and Walter went to work picking cotton. Mrs. Witt retired as a retail Clerk for Food Giant Super Markets in California. She was a member of London Assembly of God Church.

Rev. Louis Edward Yendrek, age 83, a resident of Russellville, died Sunday, June 30, 2002 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born
on February 5, 1919 in Yell County to Joe and Annie (Hlass) Yendrek. Louis entered the United State Army on October 21, 1941, serving two years as S/Sgt instructor basic training, was in France as T/Sgt Co. A 15th Infantry Third Division. He earned a Purple Heart and Bronze Star and was discharged October 21, 1945. He married
Madgelene Parks on June 6, 1948 and attended Arkansas Tech and graduated from Central Bible College with a Bible Major in 1952. Louis loved listening to and singing gospel hymns and he organized a monthly gospel singing from 1946-48 which was broadcast on KXRJ radio. The group met monthly at the First Assembly of God Church and was broadcast on KXRJ radio. He sang in the Valley 5 quartet which was broadcast weekly from First Assembly of God Church in Russellville. He pastored churches in North New Hope, Dyess, Forrest City, West Helena, all in Arkansas, in Linton, Indiana and Southaven, Mississippi. Louis was active in the Russellville Ruritan Club, serving for 9 years as Zone Governor, the American Legion and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Russellville where he led the Always Young Ministry.
Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at the First Assembly of God Church, officiated by Rev. Larry Moore, Rev. James Phifer, and Mrs. Lois Hargrove. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery

Robbert (Bob) Nachtweh
Robbert (Bob) Nachtweh, age 76, of Russellville, passed away peacefully July 26 at home following a long illness. The son of Johan Hendrik George and Magdalena Nachtweh, Bob was born
in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on August 24, 1934. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lucie.
Bob received a Bachelor of Business Degree from the Harlem Business University in The Netherlands, and served as a Second Lieutenant in the Royal Dutch Air Force prior to immigrating to the United States in 1957. Bob was very proud of becoming a citizen of the United States in 1962 and he enjoyed photography, reading, fishing, and traveling. After holding several executive positions in the Telecommunications industry, including Allied Telephone Company in Little Rock and the United States Telecom Association in Washington, D.C., he retired in 1996.
He is survived by his wife Linda of 40 years, daughter Lisa Flowers and husband Dewey of Dover, and daughter Caroline Grubb and husband Chris of Little Rock as well as five grandchildren, Ashley, Robbie, Justin, Grace and soon to be born
Austin. He is also survived by his brother, Eduard Nachtweh, of Copper Canyon, Texas. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, August 4, 2011 in the Chapel of Humphrey Funeral Service in Russellville. A Committal ceremony at Rest Haven Memorial Park of Russellville will follow immediately after the memorial service. His entire family would like to give thanks and gratitude to the wonderful people at Arkansas Hospice for their loving care in his last days. July 12, 1932 in Pottsville, Ar. Pete was forever wed to Wilma Beavers, on January 4, 1957 in Yell County. He was a member of the Pentecostal faith. Pete was always an avid outdoorsman enjoying both hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; Two brothers Earl Beavers and Roy Gene Beavers; granddaughter Ladonna Beavers.

Melvin T. Young, 21, of Pottsville, AR, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 at home with his family & friends beside him. The son of Melvin and Charlene Scott Young, he was born
May 22, 1990 in Jersey City, NJ. He was a 2007 graduate of Pottsville High School. He loved sports having played football for the Pottsville Apaches from pee-wee through 12th grade. Melvin also played soccer, basketball, baseball and enjoyed skateboarding. He was a Cub Scout. He was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church. Melvin was preceded in death by his Paternal grandparents, Thelma Young, grandmother; Booker T. Young, SR, grandfather; and Queen Young, step-grandmother.

Rose Bradley, 104, of Russellville, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Russellville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The 9th of 10 children, she was the daughter of Joseph and Rose Kline Yendrek and was born
April 3, 1907 near Dardanelle.
Her parents immigrated from Austria-Hungary around the turn of the century. Growing up in rural Yell County, She attended Dobson Springs School District near Dardanelle. She and Vester Bradley were married
on August 28, 1946 in Russellville. Vester affectionately called her “rosebud”. She worked as a waitress in Russellville at the Eureka Cafe and later at the Old South Restaurant for over 30 years. Rose’s generation enjoyed the art of visiting. She loved to cook for family and friends who looked forward to being invited to her home for supper which she made into a sumptuous and delightful affair.
She was the oldest living member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 5 sisters and 4 brothers; 5 nieces and 7 nephews.
She is survived by 2 nieces; Lorene Petray, Malvern, Mildred Burgess, Little Rock; a nephew, Robert Yendrek, Napersville, IL.

December 12, 1941 in Nashville, TN. He was a retired United States Army Captain, Veteran of the Vietnam War, a Purple Heart Recipient and a member of Military Officers Association of America. E.L. was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Russellville. He went on mission trips and served at church in various roles. He enjoyed collecting model trains, wood working, rock hounding, and walking. He was preceded in death by his parents.

She enjoyed quilting and cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George Standridge; five children, Wayne Standridge, Carl Standridge, twins, Bonnie and Ronnie Standridge, Patsy Diane Standridge and an infant baby girl; one sister, Noamia Gouker.
