Pearl Cothren, 91, of Russellville, AR, died Friday, May 24, 2013 at her home in Russellville, AR. The daughter of Grover and Mildred Tucker, she was born
January 2, 1922 in Tyrone, Ok. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, and always loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Cothren; her parents; brothers Harry Tucker, G.C. Tucker Jr., James Tucker, and Frank Tucker; and sisters Florence Sutherland, Verna Shinn, Idabelle Baker, Beulah McKensky, and Myrtle Short.
Left to cherish her memory is two sons Duane Cothren and wife Renna

Virginia Florine Todd Clawson, 92, of Russellville, Arkansas, died Saturday, May 25, 2013 at her home. She was born
July 27, 1920 in Plainview, Arkansas, to William Richard and Mary Elizabeth Thedford Todd. Florine and James A. Clawson were married
on March 4, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a member of the 5th and Greenwich Church of Christ.
Florine was preceded in death by her husband, James Arlion Clawson; her parents; a son, Todd Clawson; grandson, Stephen Pendergrass; granddaughter, Stephanie Pendergrass; brothers, Hansel Todd and Buck Todd; and sisters, Freeda Todd McElroy, Grace Todd Bain, and Juanita Todd Varnado.
She is survived by a son, Dick Clawson (Jane), Russellville, AR; two daughters, Elizabeth Pendergrass (Leon), Norwood, MO and Jenny Dotson (Ronnie), Goodyear, AZ; eight grandchildren, Cindy Clawson (Karyn Wiseman), Philadelphia, PA, Jim Clawson (Carmen Scroggin), Addison, TX, Jim Pendergrass, Nixa, MO, Laura Kovach (Brandon), Rogersville, MO, Jason Dotson (Lena), Kaibeto, AZ, Justin Dotson (Allison), Goodyear, AZ, James G. Clawson, Russellville, AR, and Gary Clawson, Russellville, AR; nine great-grandchildren, Shelby Wiseman, Almaz Clawson, Carter Kovach, Matthew Gonzalez, Cody Dotson, Gabriella Dotson, Isabella Dotson, Jakob Dotson, and Abigail Dotson; a sister, Jackie Holsworth, Turlock, CA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dennis James Quinn, on February 14, 1994 at Flager County, Fl. She was a Security Officer with Allegiance Security Group. Goldia always loved traveling and taking road trips, shopping, crafts, studying birds and animals, and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents.

James Russell Mason, 85 1/2 of Dover, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Johnson Regional Medical Center under Arkansas Hospice care. He was born
November 6, 1927 in Pope County to Gilbert Mason and Florence Mason Fowler. He was a carpenter by trade and loved life. He attended Dover Assembly of God Church and was loved by family and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents, wife Francis Mason and by four infant & toddler siblings.
He is survived by one sister, Viola L Thompson of Russellville; two daughters, Brenda J. Rickel of Dover, Debbie (Steve) Anderson of Anchorage, AK; one son, James Randall Mason of Russellville; one step daughter, Mary Kay (Leo) Howe of Nevada; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Michelle, Bridgett, Bretta, Stacey, Heather, Stephanie and Christopher; fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 31, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel. Reverend Jerry Patton and Joshua Hagan will officiate. Burial will follow at Rushing Cemetery

Lelus Cochran
Lelus Cochran, 88, passed away in Rogers on Thursday, May 16, 2013. The son of John and Nellie Baker Cochran, he was born
in Hector, AR. on May 10, 1925 and spent most of his life in Russellville, where he owned and operated Cochran Sweeping. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II ……stationed at Pearl Harbor. He was a member of Rogers-Rye VFW Post #2283, Pope County Riding Club, Pope County Cattleman’s Association and the United Commercial Travelers. Lelus was a lifelong member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a member of Session. He enjoyed farming, riding horses, gardening and spending time with his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Agnes Hamilton Cochran; his son, Steve Cochran, and grandsons Wyatt and Matt, all of Rogers; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Russellville with Reverend Steve Mosley officiating. Burial with honors will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3:00PM to 5:00PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. She enjoyed knitting, church activities, and her Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two brothers Chuck Lively and Thomas Lively; and a sister Mae McGregor.

Nicholas McCay McClain, 24, of Russellville, died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. The son of Roy and Teresa Jane Graves McClain of Russellville, AR. Nick was born
May 23, 1989 in Memphis, TN. and was a 2007 graduate of Pottsville High School.
Nick, was a Nondestructive Testing technician working as an inspector for Quality System International. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding the back roads of the mountains on his four wheeler.
Nick met the loved of his life, Ashley Orsburn, and they were married
on January 15, 2011 at First United Methodist Church in Russellville. Their two year old son, Hunter, was at the center of his life, and Nick was always ready to throw a ball, play in the mud or wrestle in the yard.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roy M. McClain; maternal grandparents, Bryan and Ann Graves.
He is survived by his Wife, Ashley Orsburn, Russellville, a son, Hunter McKay McClain; 2 sisters, Regina Holloway (Glen), Alma, Lacy Fowler, Russellville; nieces and nephews, Allison, Madison, Landon, Logan and Abigail, and Owen, all of whom called him “Nick-Nick”; paternal grandmother, Mildred McClain, Lexa, AR.
