Tommy Taylor
CLARKSVILLE - Tommy Taylor of Springdale, formerly of Clarksville, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at Springdale Health & Rehabilitation.
He was a mechanic, son of the late Vester H. and Hazel Ira Bean Taylor, and a Baptist.
Survivors include brothers, V.H. Taylor and wife, Vera, and Billy C. Taylor and wife, Myrtle, all of Springdale; nephews, Lonnie, Mike and Lance Taylor of Springdale; and nieces, Marilyn Harris of Van Buren and Sandra Wilt of Siloam Springs.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Roller-Cox Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robbie Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Airy Cemetery
by Roller-Cox Funeral Service.
Pallbearers include Mike Taylor, Lance Taylor, Billy Dale Harris, D.J. Turner, Larry Griffith and Mark Tumbleson.
Allen Ellis
Allen Ellis, 34, of Hector, died Friday, March 9, 2007, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
The son of Al Gene and Sharon Gullett Ellis, he was born
Dec. 4, 1972, in Dardanelle. He married
Tasha Duvall on Aug. 16, 2002, at Morrilton. He had attended Hector High School. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Margaret Ellis.
Survivors include his wife, Tasha Ellis of Hector, mother, Sherry Ellis of Hector; father, Al Gene Ellis of Hector; a daughter, Abigail Duvall of Hector; one brother, Brian Gray of Russellville; and two sisters, Kim Hawkins of Hector and Paige Sterling of London.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at Humphrey Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Hodges officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
There is no visitation planned.
Lottie Hastings
Lottie Hastings, age 80, of Russellville, died Sunday, March 11, 2007 at the home of her daughter.
A daughter of the late Jack Malone and Gracie Inez Hopkins Haworth, she was born
March 22, 1926 in Gore, Okla. She was a former hospital dietician assistant. She was the widow of Eugene Forrest Hastings and Hulin “Hap” McGuffey.
Survivors include three daughters, Marie Hedrick of Russellville, Mildred Powell of Salem, Ore., and Dorothy Cason of Brandon, Fla.; a brother, Jim Haworth of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sisters, Pauline Thomas of Bakersfield and Betty Collins of Paramount, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, Mike, Jeff, Kenny and Janie Hedrick, and Loretta Hughes, all of Russellville; David and Robert Powell of Lakewood, Calif.; Cheryl Lamb of Brandon, Fla.; and Jack Cason and Wendy Villalon, both of Bakersfield; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The graveside service and burial will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2007, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bakersfield, Calif.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Shinn Funeral Service.

Elisabeth Hudspeth
Elisabeth Faye Nichols Hudspeth, 79, of Redfield died Saturday, March 10, 2007.
She was born
Sept. 2, 1926, in Dover, daughter of the late John and Sarah Nichols.
Survivors include sons, Hank Hudspeth and Michael DeRossitte of Redfield; brothers, L. D. Nichols of Little Rock and Ray Nichols of Dover; sister, Etter Holman of Atkins; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Street Hudspeth; sons, James and Bobby DeRossitte; brothers, L. V., Linard and Willie Nichols; and sisters, Wanda Jackson and Lucy Moors.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son in Pine Bluff with the Rev. Mary Welch officiating. Burial will be in Cypress Memorial Gardens.
Eva Phillips
DANVILLE - Eva Ruth Phillips, 67, of Russellville died Friday, March 9, 2007, at Dardanelle Hospital.
She was born
March 31, 1939 in Atoka, Okla., to John Marcus and Carrie Washburn Moats. She was preceded in death by sons, Bruce Allen and Dwight Warren Phillips; her parents; a sister, Roberta Dean Barnes; and brothers, Kenneth Moats and Wayne Wiley.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Paul Phillips; children and spouses, John and Sandra Phillips of Pottsville, Paulette and James Crabill of Dardanelle, Carrie and Ray Coulson of Oakmont, Pa., Jerry Paul and Pamela Phillips of Rohnert Park, Calif., Major Jimmy and Laura Phillips of Heidelberg, Germany, Connie and Jeremiah Tinsley of Glendale, Ariz., and Jason and Tabitha Phillips of Belleville; twin brother, Albert and Becky Moats of Danville; brothers, Hadden and Margarita Moats of McKinney, Texas, and Doug and Clarenda Moats of Ola; sisters, Elizabeth and George Sugita of Dixon, Calif., and Alice and Paul Tygart of Ward; 23 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Chickalah Methodist Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home.

DANVILLE - Paul Bragg, 65, of Danville died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville.

Julia Finchum
Julia Evelyn Finchum, 98, of Russellville died Friday, March 2, 2007 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The daughter of Joe and Effie Parsley Coffee, she was born
Sept. 4, 1908, in Pottsville. She was a member of the Russellville First Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles C. Finchum; two sons, Charles Edward Finchum and Calvin Leon Finchum.
Survivors include four daughters, Catherine Havron of Muskogee, Okla., Marjorie Moore of Fort Smith, Helen Rudder of Wynne, and Cristine Nye and husband John of Brandon, Miss.; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and special friends.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at Humphrey Chapel. Reverend Don Erwin will officiate. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery

ATKINS - Mary Kathleen McKinley, 58, died Friday, March 2, 2007, at Conway Regional Health System.
She was born
Oct. 5, 1948, in Morrilton, Ark., the daughter of the late Eugene and Verlin Maxwell Heflin. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lanny and Gerald Heflin. She was a homemaker and attended Pine Ridge Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Carl McKinley of Atkins; two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Angela McKinley and Dusty and Linda McKinley, both of Atkins; three daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Cecil Adams of Hector, Rhonda and Jason Schuller and Lisa and Ray Adams, both of Russellville; grandchildren, Faith and Cory McKinley, Ashley, Natasha, and Cecil Jr. Adams, Michael, Bryan, Crystal, Heather, Jasmine and Jimmy Adams; a brother, Elton Heflin of Russellville; four sisters, Elsie Heflin of Atkins, Norma Heflin of Allred, and Vonnie Heflin and Patricia Patrick, both of Atkins.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at Lemley Chapel with the Rev. Jim McNutt officiating. Burial will be in Bells Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service.

Wiliam Ross
William “Hot” Ross, age 73, of Russellville died Friday, March 2, 2007 at his home.
He was a son of the late Oliver Thomas and Ida Mae Davis McDaniel Ross, and was born
April 10, 1933 at Atkins. He was the husband of Margaret Ross.
