Sept. 1, 1956 in Little Rock, he was the loving son of Carl and Montrine Brunck. Louis was infant baptized at First Lutheran Church and later chose to be baptized as an adult in the baptist church.
Louis was a Special Ed. graduate of Parkview High School Class of 1976. In 1977 Louis became a resident of Group Living in Arkadelphia. He was most recently employed by the Honeycomb restaurant. He enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and was an avid collector of Star Trek memorabilia.
Louis is survived by his parents, Carl Louis Brunck, Sr. and Clair Montine Brunck; sister Lisa Maher; brother Philip K. Brunck; aunts and uncles Pat and Dave McClain and Carol and Mac Core; three nieces, one nephew, and one great-nephew.
A visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Wednesday March 5th at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham street. The Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday at First Lutheran Church at 8th and Rock Streets. Burial will follow at Mount Holly Cemetery. The family will receive friends at First Lutheran Church after the burial. Theodore F. Brooks
Theodore F. “Buck” Brooks, Sr. 87, of Mabelvale, died Monday, February 17, 2003. He was born
in Forney, TX to G.C. and Perna Milholland Brooks. He married
Edith Meddley and they were married
52 years before her death in 1988. He was employed by Sam Mitchell Interior Painting and Decorating before joining the Little Rock Police Department in 1941. He retired from the Department in 1972, and worked as a Security Guard at the then Worthen Bank. In the mid 1960’s he purchased and operated the Funeral Escort Service. Buck was a member of the Sixth and Izard Church of Christ and then later the Mabelvale Church of Christ. He is survived by his children, Ted Brooks, Jr. and his wife, Julia, Beth Butler and her husband Richard and Claudia Meeks and her husband, Larry, all of Mabelvale, a sister, Artie Mae Little of Morris, OK, a brother, Henry Brooks of Mabelvale, two grandchildren, Stephanie Percefull of Andover, MN and Darrin Meeks of Little Rock, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by a brother, J. C. Brooks. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park. William Hastings Bransford Jr.
William Hastings Bransford, age 81 years, of Little Rock passed away Sunday, July 13, 2003. He was born
November 12, 1921, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late William H. and Bessie Walt Bransford, Sr. Mr. Bransford grew up in Lonoke, Arkansas where he graduated from Lonoke High School. He spent two years at the University of Arkansas before transferring to Georgia Institute of Technology, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. After his graduation, he was employed by United Aircraft Corp., as a research engineer. During World War II Mr. Bransford was a naval officer. He served aboard a gunboat and rocket ship in the Pacific Theatre. After the war he was employed by Great Lakes Carbon Corp., as a division engineer in the buildings material division. In 1950 he returned to Lonoke to run the Bransford Gin Company. He and his family moved to Little Rock in the early 60's where he was involved in several enterprises, including an insurance company, farming, real estate development in Arkansas and Louisiana, and general investments. He was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, a 32 Degree Mason, and The Poets Club.
Mr. Bransford is predeceased by two brothers; Lee Walt Bransford and Dr. Robert Bransford, his wife Jane Cannaday Bransford, and his wife of twenty-seven years and the mother of his children, Frances Moses Bransford. He is survived by two daughters; Frances Beth Bransford and Mary Moses Sours and husband Don all of Chico, California, two sons William Hastings Bransford, III and Lawson W. Turner, III both of Little Rock, eight grandchildren, Susan, Caroline, and William Hastings Bransford, IV of Little Rock, Jane Ann Wagner of Sacramento, California, William Hamilton and Jacob Lawson Cooper of Chico, California, Mary Frances Isakov and husband Chris of Annapolis, Maryland, Withers Turner of Fayetteville, Arkansas and three great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at Ruebel Funeral Home followed Thursday with graveside services at 11:00 am at Lonoke Cemetery
officiated by Reverend Dr. Jeff Hampton. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.

Lee Walt Bransford
Lee Bransford, of Little Rock, and Lonoke native, died Wednesday, January 8, 2003. He was born
January 9, 1924 in Memphis Tennessee to William Hastings and Bessie Walt Bransford. Following his April 1945 Commission as an Aviator in the US Navy, he graduated from the University of Illinois in 1948 with a degree in Architectural Engineering. After 15 years with Wittenberg, Delony and Davidson, in 1964 he and Carl Brunck formed Engineering Consultants, Inc. a structural engineering firm. He was involved with the design and construction of many buildings across Arkansas including his favorite, the Arkansas Power and Light Building, as well as work at War Memorial Stadium and Oaklawn Racetrack. He was an active member of the American Institute of Architects and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He was an avid Razorback fan and he and his friends followed the team to most of the football games for years. He had the same seats in War Memorial Stadium for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jeanne Bransford and by his brother Dr. Robert Bransford. He is survived by his wife Bettye; his brother William H. Bransford, Jr. of Little Rock; two daughters, Debby Coates (Wayne) of Little Rock and Robin Bugge (Forrest) of Houston, TX; two sons, Walt Bransford (Maryanne) of North Little Rock and Fletcher Bransford (Alison) of Sterling, VA; two step-daughters, Holly Robertson (Gavin) of Arlington, TX and Tracy Nobles (Ben) of Duluth, GA; six grandchildren, Katherine Coates of New York City, NY; Andrew Coates of Fayetteville; Stuart and Blair Bugge of Houston, TX, Whitman Bransford of North Little Rock; Lindsey Bransford of Sterling, VA; four step-grandchildren, Grace and Caitlin Robertson of Arlington, TX; and Zachary and Olivia Nobes of Duluth, GA. He was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Lonoke Cemetery, Lonoke, AR. Bobby Bennett Bowie
Bobby Bennett Bowie, 78, of Little Rock, died August 20, 2003. He was a graduate of Arkansas University and retired from the Sherwin Williams Paint Company after 39 years. He was in the US Navy during World War II and was stationed in the Pacific. He received a 21 year perfect attendance pin from what was then the Forrest Heights Lions Club. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur James and Cornelia Simmons Bowie, three brothers, Arthur J. Bowie Jr., Billy Saxon Bowie and Max Owen Bowie, two sisters, Happy Norene Bowie and Doris Bowie Mulholland. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Clare Jobe Bowie, son Andy Bowie and daughter Eleanor Kay Bowie all of Little Rock.
There will be a visitation Friday, August 22, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park officiated by Reverend John Fleming of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Mary Boone
Mary Boone, age 72, of Helena, MT, died of natural causes Thursday, December 4, 2003 in Helena. Mary was born
in Little Rock, Arkansas, February 2, 1931 to Rhea Benham and Grace (O'Kelly) Myers. Mary received her grade school and high school education in Arkansas, continuing to receive a B.S. degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Mary and Thomas L. Boone were married
in Little Rock, Arkansas in October of 1958. She was a member of D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution), the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Colonial Dames, President of the Women's Auxiliary of Little Rock Boys Club, the Country Club of Little Rock and PSI Chapter Chi Omega.
Her parents and sister Susannah Carroll preceded her in death. Mary is survived by her husband Thomas of Helena, her son Thomas Jr. of Conway, Arkansas, daughters Grace B. Richardson of Helena, MT and Claiborne Barbaree of Little Rock Arkansas and six grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at the Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church in Little Rock. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery
in Little Rock. A reception will follow at the Holiday Inn, 201 S. Shackleford Rd., Little Rock. Local arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.

Caroline Polk Curtis Bond
Caroline Polk Curtis Bond, age 63, of Little Rock, died Friday, October 31, 2003. She was born
in Helena, Arkansas, graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelors of Fine Arts in Music, and was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, member of the Colonial Dames, and an interior decorator of many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents Carolyn and Floyd Curtis, and husband of thirty years, William P. Bond, Jr. She is survived by one son William P. Bond, III of North Palm Beach, Florida, one sister Frances Curtis Howe of Knoxville, Tennessee, and a good friend Marsha Bozeman.
There will be a graveside service Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Holly Cemetery
officiated by The Reverend Scott Lee. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.

Kathryn "Deenie" Carland
Kathryn "Deenie" Carland
Kathryn “Deenie” Carland, died September 8, after a short illness. Concern for and dedication to family and friends defined her. This quality and many others are remembered and missed.
Born January 25, 1918, in what is now the Marshall Square Historic District, she attended Parham Elementary, East Side Junior High, and Little Rock Senior High Schools. She met her husband, Harold, while waitressing at The Blue Goose, a popular drive-in. They married
in 1939 and had three children--Bob, John, and Pete. Their baseball games were her summer highlight. A familiar face behind the glove counter at MM Cohn, and later an assistant buyer, she was also an experienced traveler, flying frequently to New York, Washington, Canada, and touring throughout western US. A great reader, she encouraged every child she met to pick up a book.
Deenie lived with her son, Robert, and wife, Deborah for many years in Little Rock. She is survived by them; son John and wife Maria of Annandale, Virginia; grandsons Blaise, of South Riding, Virginia, Raphael, of Arlington, Virginia, and Christopher, of Dallas, Texas; a granddaughter, Michele Clements of Hot Springs, AR and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 15, at 10:00 AM in the Ruebel Funeral Home chapel. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Central Arkansas Library System. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home.
Henry Dalton Bogart
Henry Dalton Bogart, age 70, of Little Rock died Thursday, July 31, 2003 at his home. He was born
March 28, 1933 in Searcy, AR to Henry and Stella Bogart. Mr. Bogart retired as a Principal in 1997 from Blass /Gaskin, Norcross and Hall Architecture Firm with over 30 years of employment. He was later associated EGH Lighting Company. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where he served in several offices and was chairman of the building committee for the fellowship hall. He was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman and golfer. Mr. Bogart was a beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather who will be mourned by his family and many friends.
Mr. Bogart is survived by his wife Bette Kohl Bogart; two children, Ramona DeMilt (Kyle) of Bartlett, TN, and Deena Reynolds of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Dalton Arnold, Zachary Arnold, Dana DeMilt, and Hunter Goodwin. One sister, Eleanor Connelly of Little Rock, also survives him. The family would like to thank the oncology staff of St. Vincent’s Infirmary, Dr. Cliff Parnell, and Dr. Mendelsohn and his wonderful staff.
There will be a visitation at Ruebel Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 4, 2003 at Grace Lutheran Church in Little Rock with Rev. James Walter officiating.
