Winifred Cordelia Ross
Winifred Cordelia Ross, 92, of Little Rock, died Friday, March 28, 2003. She was born
July 13, 1910 in Boone County, MO, to Bennett and Flossie Cowden.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Robert Ross and her son Dr. John Ross. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Lisa Ross of Benton, and four great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Blaine, Tillman, and Trent Ross.
A graveside service will be Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at 11:00 am at Roselawn Memorial Park officiated by Reverend Kurt Boggan and Dr. F. Gladwin Connell. Arrangements are by Ruebel Funeral Home.
Elizabeth Shaver Ross
Elizabeth Shaver Ross, 91, of Little Rock, widow of John Edwin Ross, died Sunday, June 15. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Wesley Shaver and Lucian Loftin Shaver and sisters, Katherine Horsfall and Mildred Hursey. She is survived by a niece Lucia Hursey Jones of Little Rock and a nephew James Crawford, of Memphis, TN. She was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Tri-W Sorority, and the Briarwood Garden Club.
Services will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Friday, June 20, at 1:00 p.m., with burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church or Arkansas Hospice. Arrangements are by Ruebel Funeral Home.
LaVerne Rucker Rodgers
LaVerne Rucker Rodgers, age 97, of Little Rock, died Friday, November 14, 2003. She was born
in Beebe, Arkansas where she graduated from high school, later graduating from the Saint Vincent Infirmary School of Nursing receiving her Register Nursing Degree in 1930. She and Dr. Clyde W. Rodgers, Sr. were married
in 1933. During World War II she served as a Gray Lady. She was a member of the Pulaski Heights Mother’s Club, Riverdale Country Club, now Pleasant Valley Country Club, and Second Presbyterian Church. LaVerne devoted her life to her husband and raising her children.
She is survived by one son, Dr. Dudley Rodgers, Jr. and wife Catherine, of Little Rock, one daughter, Elizabeth Deraps of Houston, Texas, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
There will be a graveside funeral service Tuesday at 11am at Roselawn Memorial Park, officiated by Reverend Karin Akins. Burial is under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.
Memorials in lieu of flowers should be made to Second Presbyterian Church or Presbyterian Village.
Robert Lafayette Robinson, Jr.
Robert Lafayette Robinson, Jr. age 60, of Little Rock, died Monday, January 6, 2003. He was a graduate of Newport High School, Hendrix College (B.A. 1954) and received his law degree from Vanderbilt University, (LL.B. 1967), Phi Alpha Delta; Blue Key. He was the Senior Partner in the law firm of Robinson, Staley, Marshall, and Duke, practicing law for 36 years since 1967. He was a member of the Pulaski County Bar Association, Arkansas Bar Association, and American Bar Association (Litigation Section). Robinson was also a member of the Volunteer Organization for Central Arkansas Legal Services (VOCALS), the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association; Defense Research Institute; Fellow, Arkansas Bar Association. Robinson served in the Arkansas Army National Guard (1967-1974) as a First Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General Corps. He was past president of the local Exchange Club, an International Civic Organization. Robinson served as Board chairman of the Central YMCA in 1985-86 and was a Volunteer of the Year in 1983 for Central Branch of the YMCA. He was a member of the Country Club of Little Rock and First United Methodist Church. Robinson was an avid golfer, a devoted grandfather, a sports car enthusiast and bird watcher. Bob was truly a lawyer’s lawyer and will be deeply and dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lafayette Robinson, Sr. of Newport, Arkansas and is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary Jane Jamison Robinson of Little Rock, his mother, Sina Reaves Robinson of Newport, one brother Bee Robinson of Panama City, Florida, one son, Robert L. Robinson, IV and wife Leigh Anne of Little Rock, two daughters, Ahron Couey and husband Paul of Austin, Texas, Mary Claire Roberts and husband Charlie of Little Rock, 3 grandchildren, Emma Robinson, Reaves Robinson and Thomas Roberts all of Little Rock.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. at First United Methodist Church officiated by Reverend Jeanie Burton. Services are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.

James Douglas "G.P." Robinson
James Douglas "G.P." Robinson, age 67, of Little Rock, died Saturday, July 26, 2003. He was born
in Greenwood, South Carolina, later graduating from high school at Norview High School in Norfolk, Virginia. He received his BS in Sociology from King College in Bristol, Tennessee. He also attended Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. He became active in the insurance after school and was presently employed with the Hardin and Wilson Insurance Company. He was very active in his community serving over 30 years with the Optimist Club of Central Arkansas, becoming an honorary life member. He loved his family, coaching baseball at the Boy's Club, and golf. He was a member of Westover Hills Presbyterian Church and was a past Deacon and Elder with the church.
He is survived by his wife, Claudette White Robinson of Little Rock, one daughter Beth Jaworski and husband Andy of Berlin, Germany, one son Bryan Robinson and wife Barbara of Little Rock, two brothers; Walter A. Robinson, Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia, William B. Robinson and wife Barbara of Virginia Beach, Virginia, four grandchildren; Amanda and Lindsay Jaworski and Taylor and Tipton Robinson.
There will a visitation Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the Ruebel Funeral Home followed Tuesday with a memorial service at 2 pm at the funeral home. Ada B. Sanderson
Ada B. Sanderson, 93, of Little Rock, formerly of Austin, TX, and widow of Brown Sanderson died Sunday, September 14, 2003. She graduated from Arkansas State University and received her Masters Degree from the University of TX. For 45 years, she taught high school English in Austin, TX, Pine Bluff, Manila and Brookland AR. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Austin.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include 2 nieces, Ann Fitzgerald of Sheridan, Lucy Lee Reeder of West Memphis; 2 nephews, Ted Harrison, Jr. of Hughes and Pete Harrison of West Memphis, and their families.
Burial will take place in Austin, TX. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Nicole Michele "Nikki" Risser
Nicole Michele "Nikki" Risser, 38, of Little Rock, died Friday. She attended UALR and Broward Community College in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She was employed in Little Rock, by Grady's Pizza. She leaves to cherish her memory her companion David Overton, mother Kaye Risser and stepfather Bill Williamson, all of Little Rock; sisters Cindy Farrell (Gene) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Carmen Webb of Little Rock; brother Ken Risser (Tammy) of Dallas, Texas. Nikki was known and loved for her quick wit, sense of humor and love of animals. There will be a memorial service for Nikki Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel.

Danny Lynn Reynolds
Danny Lynn Reynolds, 47, of Little Rock, beloved husband and father, went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 29, 2003. Danny was born
November 8, 1955, in Desoto, MO. He was Carman for Union Pacific Railroad for the past 25 years and a veteran of The United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Darla Kay; a son, Chris Reynolds of little Rock; a daughter, Caitlin Reynolds of Paragould; a stepson, Brady Workman of Joplin, Mo; his parents, Tom and Mary Reynolds, of Roy, Utah; his grandparents, Ralph and Irene Eaton of Roy, Utah; two brothers, Tommy and his wife Cecilia of Idaho, and Johnny of Utah; a sister, Evelyn Reynolds Carver and her husband Richard of Wyoming.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 5th, in the Chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill McCoy officiating.

Cleffie Reinhardt
Cleffie Reinhardt, a resident of Little Rock, for 89 years, passed from this life on Saturday, May 3, 2003, at the age of 94 years, 7 months. She was born
September 24, 1908 in Evening Shade, Sharp County, Arkansas, the 9th child of James Henderson Brewer and Ruth Ella Ritchie. Fondly called "Miss Cleffie" by generations of Sunday School students, she shared with them her love of God. Even at age 94, she could still quote 10 chapters of God's Holy Word. She was a lifelong member of the 6th and Izard Church of Christ, and was a past president of the Little Rock chapter of Associated Women for Harding University.
Her parents, 8 of her 10 siblings, and her husband of 56 years, Herbert Paul Reinhardt, Sr. preceded her in death. Two sisters, Betty Aline Moffett and Pauline Darner of Little Rock, one daughter, Betty Wilson, of Allgood, Alabama, two sons, James Henry Reinhardt of Dallas, and Dr. Herbert P. Reinhardt Jr. of Oklahoma City, four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson survive her. The family requests no flowers, but memorials may be made to Caring Friends of Arkansas Hospice, Bldg. 66, Room 65, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
