Robert Mills Feild
Robert Mills Feild, of Little Rock, died Monday, November 4, 2002, at Arkansas Hospice, St. Vincent Doctor's Hospital of Alzheimer's and prostate cancer. He was born
on January 17, 1921 in Little Rock to Russell Hunter and Mary Mills Feild. He graduated from Little Rock High School in 1938 and Little Rock Junior College in 1940. He served with the U.S. Army, Military Army Transport during World War II. He later received his Juris Doctrate from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1949. A long time member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, he grew up in First United Methodist Church, Little Rock. He was retired from Saint Paul Insurance Company and the State Department of Education, Division of School Insurance.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Irene Edwards Feild and grandchildren; Daniel Robert and Hannah Christina Feild and their parents Dr. Charles Robert and Christina Docherty Feild, Stuart Mills, Mary Kathleen, and Helen Elizabeth Feild and their parents David F. Feild and Lee Williams Feild, Rebecca Feild, John Hunter, and Brandon Edwards Camp and their parents Jean Elizabeth and Dwight Edward Camp. He was predeceased by his brother Russell H. Feild, Jr., and is also survived by a niece Reverend Nancy A. Feild and her mother Mrs. Russell H. Feild, Jr. of Metairie, Louisiana. The family would like to give their loving thanks to the staff of Arkansas Hospice Home Care, Doctor's Hospital unit, staff and C.A.R.T.I. of the University of Arkansas Medical Science Center.
A memorial service of celebration will be held Wednesday at 11 A.M. at St. Paul United Methodist Church officiated by Reverend John Fleming. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to a favorite charity.
Catherine Sue Fambrough
Catherine Sue Fambrough, 61, of Little Rock, AR, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 16, 2002. She was born
July 31, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Marion and Faith Stockton Mischler. She spent her early childhood in Kansas City, MO, attended elementary school in Atlanta, Georgia and junior high and senior high school in Shreveport, LA. She graduated from C. E. Byrd High School in 1959. She attended Northwestern State College in Natchitoches, LA and graduated with a major in Art Education. Cathy taught art in the public schools of Lake Charles, LA following graduation. She married
her college sweetheart, Delbert Jackson Fambrough on July 18, 1964. Cathy and Del recently celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary.She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother to her husband, Delbert Fambrough; her sons, David Fambrough and his wife Nancy of Plano, TX and Gary Fambrough of Little Rock; sister Madelyn Young and her husband Robin of Tupelo, MS and grandchildren, Lauren and Brooke Fambrough of Plano, TX. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Larry Fambrough and his wife, Suzanne, of Hammond, LA, her mother-in-law, Selma Fambrough, of Springhill, LA three nephews and nieces and three great-nieces.
Cathy was a wonderful mother, loved animals and enjoyed art, swimming, boating and other outdoor activities. A memorial service will be held at St. James United Methodist Church, in the Cottey Parlor at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 18. The family requests memorial gifts may be made to St. James United Methodist Church, 321 Pleasant Valley Dr., Little Rock, AR 72212.

Patsy Sue Ellis
Patsy Sue Ellis, age 84, of Little Rock, died August 11, 2002, at St. Vincent Infirmary. She was born
Aril 24, 1918, in Fordyce, Arkansas to the late Lesley Wolbridge and Mattie Lee Ferres. Patsy was chief receptionist and secretary for her brother-in-law, Ike Murry while he was Attorney General. She was Governor Orval Faubus' chief aide and secretary during his 12-year tenure. Patsy was such a popular political asset that Governor Winthrop Rockefeller asked her to help him initiate his term in office.
She is survived by her husband Charles S. Ellis of Little Rock, sister-in-laws Muriel Samuels of Fordyce Janis Ellis of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Mary Morton of Florida, nieces Stephanie Thomas of Georgia, Ginger Murry of Little Rock, Marguerite Dory and husband Russ of Cabot, nephews, Michael Ellis and wife Denise of Southlake, Texas, Charles Ellis of Clinton, Arkansas, Larry Morton of Little Rock, Tommy Morton of Florida, and David Morton, along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her sister Catherine Murry and brother Howard Samuels.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.. at The Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Betsy Singleton with burial at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church.

William Thomas Dillard
William Thomas Dillard, age 87, of Little Rock, owner of Dillard's Department Store, died Friday, February 8, 2002. There will be a formal visitation on Sunday, February 10, from 2-4 pm. at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 West Markham, Little Rock. Following the visitation, there will be a funeral service on Monday at 11:00. The place where the services will be held will be announced Saturday, February 9, 2002. Aurora Gascon de Ocampo
Aurora Gascon de Ocampo, age 92, of Little Rock, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002. She was born
in the Philippines, moving to Little Rock in 1980. She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church, and loved taking care of the grandchildren, sewing, and cooking. She is survived by her daughter, Stella Partin of North Little Rock, and her three grandchildren; Evan, Tiffany, and Karrah. There will be a memorial service Thursday evening at 7:30 P.M. at the Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Linda Kline.
Marilyn Holt Cremeen
Marilyn Holt Cremeen, a long time resident of Little Rock, died Saturday, October 19, 2002. Marilyn was a nurse at Arkansas Children's Hospital for many years until her recent illness.
Marilyn is survived by her children; Beverly Cremeen and Thomas L. Cremeen, Jr., sisters; Ann H. Carpenter of New Braunfels, Texas and Judith Wentworth and husband Pat, of Buda, Texas, nieces and nephews; Cheryl Carpenter Doane of San Marcos, Texas, Paul Waits of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Cathy Carpenter Smith of New Braunfels, Texas, Brenda Waits Owen of Florida, Lisa Carpenter Prewitt of San Marcos, Texas, Jay Waits of Buda, Texas and Rebecca Carpenter Bloomquist of Los Angeles, California.
There will be a grave side funeral service on Tuesday, October 22, at 11:00 am, at Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.
Phillip Wayne Joiner
Phillip Wayne Joiner, age 39, of Little Rock, died August 17, 2002. He was born
in Little Rock. Phil was a graduate of Pelham High School in Birmingham, Alabama before graduating from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama with a degree in Building Science. He later received his MBA from Webster University. Phil will be missed by a host of family and friends who will miss the laughter he brought to their lives. He was a wonderful father, son, brother and friend to everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his father Ralph P. Joiner of Nashville, Tennessee, his mother Vivian Joiner Ball and husband Roy of Little Rock, one daughter Marina Catalina Joiner of Little Rock, one sister Kelli Joiner of Little Rock, his maternal grandmother Ora Wilkerson Davis and husband Val of Little Rock and his paternal grandmother Lola Joiner of Nashville. Tennessee.
There will be a visitation reception Wednesday from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Ruebel Funeral Home followed Thursday with a graveside funeral service at 10 A.M. at Pinecrest Cemetery

Jeane Dorough Hundley
Jeane Dorough Hundley, of Little Rock, died Thursday, December 5, 2002. She was a 5th Generation member of an Arkansas Pioneer family with origins in County Cork, Ireland and Wittlesburg, Germany. She attended Little Rock schools and two years at Little Rock Jr. College (now UALR) before meeting her future husband, Dr. Louis King Hundley, who was completing his medical residency at Ark. Children's Hospital. They were married
in Little Rock in 1933. They moved to Kansas, where Dr. Hundley did post-doctoral research at the Prince Eye Clinic in Kansas before becoming an Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist. Subsequently, Dr. Hundley served four years in the U.S. Army Medical Corps before the Hundleys made their home in Pine Bluff at the end of World War II. They resided there for 21 years, during which time they were both active in many charitable and Fine Arts Groups. They were members of the Pine Bluff Country Club and on the Board of Directors of the Pine Bluff Community Concert Association. Dr. and Mrs Hundley, with their daughters, belonged to Lakeside Methodist Church and were teachers of the Rev. L.E.N. Hundley Sunday School where Dr. Hundley's father once served as Pastor. They returned to Little Rock in 1964, and Dr. Hundley was a member of the Department of Ophthalmology clinical faculty at UAMS until his death in 1966.
Mrs. Hundley was a devoted homemaker and, at the same time, used her considerable talents
in support of her husband's medical profession. She had a long and devoted volunteer career with many local, state and national charitable organizations. She served on the Boards of Directors for the National Association for Infantile Paralysis, President of the Auxiliary of the Southern Medical Association, Arkansas Medical Auxiliary, Jefferson County Medical Society, and the Pine Bluff Junior Auxiliary. Volunteer efforts with crippled children and in organizing volunteers for the Salk polio vaccine field trials in Arkansas earned her an Arkansas Traveler Certificate from Governor Faubus and a citation from Dr. Jonas Salk for outstanding work with the Polio Foundation. Additionally, she was cited for her outstanding contribution to the Arkansas Academy of Family Practice.
After the death of her husband in 1966, Mrs. Hundley was Executive Director of the Arkansas Caduceus Club since its inception in 1969. Former Dean of Medicine, the late Winston K. Shorey, envisioned a campus clearing house for professional and alumni relations and
appointed Mrs. Hundley to direct its organization, which she did until she retired at the age of 75. She was a member of the Little Rock Alumni Club of Pi Beta Phi Sorority, a Sustaining Member of the Little Rock Junior League, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Society and the Little Rock Chamber Music Society.
Survivors include:
two daughters, Nancy Hundley McKenzie, widow of Dr. Charles Norman McKenzie, of Little Rock and Kay Hundley Fisher, wife of Robert Martin Fisher of San Francisco; grand-daughter, Leslie McKenzie Santillo, her husband Jerry Santillo of Atlanta; grandsons Robert M. Fisher, Jr. and wife, Susan Armacost Fisher of London, England, William Louis Fisher of Burlingame, Calif., and Gregory Andrew Fisher and wife, Yvonne Kiggens Fisher of Kentfield, Calif. Mrs. Hundley was Great Grandmother to seven children. One brother, William Murphy Dorough and his wife, Frances Shimek Dorough live in Little Rock Their daughter, Mrs. Hundley's niece, Ann Dorough, and her husband, Greg Uekman reside in Maryland.
Mrs. Hundley remained an ardent Razorback fan, bridge player, world traveler. She continued to enjoy her myriad friendships with people of all ages, for whom she enjoyed entertaining in her home throughout her life. Her collection of antiques reflected her family which has been in Arkansas for seven generations. Mrs. Hundley was a resident at Parkway Village and a member of Little Rock First United Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be held at 1 P.M. at Graceland Cemetery
in Pine Bluff officiated by Reverend Jeanie Burton, followed by a memorial service at the First United Methodist Church of Little Rock, at 3 P.M. Tuesday, December 12th. Honorary Pallbearers include: Winston Faulkner, Dr. Randall Hundley, John Gill, Danny Thomas, Clint Burleson, Wayne Cranford, Dr. Harry Ward, Dr. John Schock and Gordon Wittenberg. John H. Howell
John H. Howell, age 82, of Little Rock died, November 17, 2002. He was born
in Panola County, Texas, on September 14, 1920, to H.J. and Lula Singleton Howell, attending public schools in Panola and Harrison Counties, Texas, and graduating from Elysian Fields, Texas High School in 1940. He married
Janie Pippen the day after his high school graduation and went to work for Panola-Harrison Electric Company as an accounts receivable clerk. He served in the Army Air Force as a radio operator during World War II in the China/Burma/India Theater. After the war he went to work as a clerk at the United States Post Office in Marshall, Texas. In 1953 he was selected and sworn in as a United States Postal Inspector. After a 6 months training period in Washington, D.C., he domiciled in Little Rock, and he and his family moved there. In 1971 he and Janie moved to Memphis when he was promoted to Associate Chief Inspector for the United States Postal Service in the Memphis Division, and was promoted again a few years later to Assistant Regional Chief Inspector. His field of expertise was fraud. He was in charge of all inspectors in the eleven-state area of the Southern Region. He retired in 1977 with 31 years of service and moved with his wife back to Little Rock. John was a member of Pulaski Heights Baptist Church since 1954 with the exception of 6 years in Memphis, where he was an active member of Whitehaven Baptist Church. During his many years of service at Pulaski Heights Baptist he held 2 terms as Chairman of the Board of Deacons, Sunday school teacher, 10 years as head of Maintenance Committee, chairman of the committee that started the kindergarten and day care in early 1970.
John is predeceased by his wife Janie Pippen Howell who died in December of 1966 and one sister Dena Carrathers. He is survived by his two daughters; Dwala Howell Ralph of Little Rock, Angela Howell Rivera and husband William of Conroe, Texas, six sisters; Coretta Nix, Ouida Faye Whitis, Dorothy Hughes, Wanda Harrington, Patricia Irvin all of Longview, Texas, Geneva Lovil of Carthage, Texas, three grandchildren: Virginia Ralph Matthews and husband Robert of Memphis, John Haskell Edwards of Conroe, Texas, Sean Rivera, currently stationed aboard the USS Kitty Hawk and his wife Yasuko of Yokosuka, Japan, two great-grandchildren: John Howell Edwards and his mother Dawn Edwards of El Paso, Texas, and Janie Maria Matthews of Memphis.
There will be a graveside funeral service at 11 A.M. Wednesday at the Colonial Gardens Cemetery
in Marshall, Texas. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Howell in Little Rock at a later date. Services under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.

Carlos Earl Honeysuckle, Jr.
Carlos Earl Honeysuckle, Jr. "Carl", of Little Rock, departed this life to soon on December 5, 2002. He was born
on January 30, 1959. Carl graduated form Parkview High School in Little Rock and later graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1982, as a Sigma Alpha Epsilon and a civil engineer. He was employed at Entergy for 15 years and most recently was employed at Curtis Stout, Inc. Carl was an avid and very good golfer. A member of the Country Club of Little Rock, he greatly enjoyed and valued his golfing buddies.
Carl is survived by his loving wife, Janan Kemp Honeysuckle, three adorable children, Justin Garner Honeysuckle, Kristin Elizabeth Honeysuckle, and Joseph Charles Honeysuckle, his loving parents, Charles and Irene Honeysuckle, and his sister, Nikki Ann Honeysuckle.
A wonderful smile and a warm heart, Carl touched many, many lives and he will be sorely missed by the many who loved him.
The funeral service will be conducted at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, on the 9th of December, 2002 at 10 a.m. A family visitation at Ruebel Funeral Home will be on Sunday, December 8, 2002 from 5 to 6 PM.
