Danny Andrews
Mr. Daniel Wayne “Danny” Andrews, age 64, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, peacefully passed from this life on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at his home.
Danny was the oldest of two sons born to the union of Billy Jenson and Ora Lea Clements Andrews on April 20, 1957, in Colorado City, Texas. Danny was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing, guns, attending gun shows, and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Danny was a loving character and cherished the time spent with his loving family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Ora Andrews.
Danny leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Autumn Andrews of De Queen; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Teresa Andrews of Texarkana; half-brother, Billy Andrews; special friends, Robert and Sonia Fisher of De Queen; nieces and nephews, Tiffany Williamson, Kevin Andrews, Selena Stinnett, and Autumn Andrews; great-niece and nephew, Blake Andrews and Grace Andrews; as well as other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside Services for Mr. Danny Andrews will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Millwee Cemetery, Horatio. General viewing will be held from 12:00 P.M., Noon, until 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen.

Ms. Leatha Robey
Ms. Leatha Lavern Hinkle Robey, age 49, resident of Cove, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Leatha was born September 20, 1972, in Bakersfield, California, to the union of William Henry Hinkle, Sr. and Carol Jean Pulcher Hinkle, one of six children. She was a graduate of Foothill High School. Leatha worked different capacities over the years, but was most successfully a Homemaker. She was adventurous free-spirit and enjoyed going to the river, her dogs: Niko and Baby Girl, and bragging about her children, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Billie Jean Hinkle.
Leatha leaves to cherish her loving memory, four children, Sam Molina of De Queen, Crystal Reid and husband Ryan of Dierks, Gary Robey of Lockesburg, and Briley Robey of Dierks; four grandchildren, Mackenzie Molina, Makayla Molina, and Bratelyn Molina, all of De Queen, and Cooper Reid of Dierks; four siblings, Laura Lowe of Casper, Wyoming, Mary Sexton and husband Vernon of Casper, Wyoming, William Hinkle, Jr. and wife Sunshine of Hatton, and Joe Hinkle of Blytheville; her special uncle, Uncle Gary Hinkle of Hatton; as well as other uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Ms. Leatha Robey will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 8, 2021, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. Service arrangements are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen.
Rusty Kesterson
Rusty Kesterson, age 59, was born in Nashville, Arkansas, November 18, 1961 and graduated from Dierks High School.
Rusty was a diesel mechanic and passed away October 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by Woodrow and Vee Kesterson.
Survivors include his daughter, Rachele Marie and granddaughter, Isabella Marie Kesterson.
A memorial service will be at Burg Cemetery just south of Umpire on November 6th at 1 pm.
In lieu of lowers a tribute could be made to the American Stroke Association.
Donna Ruth Hall Pollard
Donna Ruth Hall Pollard, age 60, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, died Friday, October 29, 2021 in Texarkana, Texas.
She was born April 16, 1961 in Bakersfield, California. She was a retired CNA and a was member of Old Time Gospel Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She loved her job as a CNA and loved reading her bible.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, Junior David Hall; a brother-in-law, Larry Johnson; her step-dad, Frank Jester; and a nephew, Tyler Hall.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Pollard of Lockesburg; her children, John Hudson and fiancé, Trista Purtell of Lockesburg, Shannon Hale of Lockesburg, and Steven and Latasha Hudson of Lockesburg; her grandchildren, Jacob Hudson, Samantha Hudson, Shelby Smith, Valerie Smith, Junior Robbins, Victoria Dixon, Nathan Hudson and Ethan Hudson; her mother, Ruby Hall of Lockesburg; her siblings, Buzz and Cheryl Cory of Bells, Texas, David Hall of Lockesburg, Jean Johnson of Provo, Arkansas, Darrell Hall of Lockesburg, Danny Hall of Lockesburg, and Johnny and Kathy Hall of New Tazewell, Tennessee; and a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside funeral services for Donna will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in Belleville Cemetery with Jerrel Helms officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2021 at the funeral home.
Ms. Susie Willis
Ms. Carolyn Sue Willis, affectionately known as Susie, passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, October 28, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at 74 years of age.
Susie was born the youngest of eleven children to the union of William “Bill” and Willie Calvin Short Willis on March 6, 1947, in Horatio, Arkansas. She was a 1965 graduate of Horatio High School and went on to receive an Associate’s of Science from Carl Albert Junior College in Poteau, Oklahoma. She worked in different capacities over the years, including restaurant management, bookkeeping, and keeping the home. She was a member of Horatio First Assembly of God Church and enjoyed traveling, reading, going to church, playing games, and shopping. Most of all, Susie cherished the time spent with her daughters, grandchildren, family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Willie Willis; two brothers, R.C. Willis and Paul Willis; and five sisters, Effie Morgan, Ruthie McCoy, Juanita Roberts, Mildred Irvan, and Willie May Willis.
Susie leaves to cherish her loving memory, two daughters, Stacy Grissom of Glenwood, and Kendra Reeves and husband Shawn of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren, Chelsea Grissom, Zach Grissom, Josh Grissom, Jordan Webb, Joey Willis, Morgan Willis, Mackenzi Reeves, Jake Reeves, and Preston Reeves; great-grandchild, Bjorn Haken Grissom; two brothers, Billy F. Willis of Horatio, and Glynn Willis and wife Bonnie of Horatio; sister, LaVerne Willis of Stephensville, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Graveside Services for Ms. Susie Willis will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Clear Creek Cemetery, Horatio, with Bro. John Gutierres officiating. Interment will follow, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
Nola Jean Holmes Hall
Mrs. Nola Jean Holmes Hall passed from this life on Friday, October 29, 2021, at home surrounded by family.
Nola was born October 15, 1954, to Earnest and Mary Holmes in Hawarden, Iowa. She was a 1972 graduate of De Queen High School and married the love of her life, Vernon Roger Hall, on July 11, 1972, in Horatio, Arkansas. She was a member of the Horatio Church of Christ and was a retired Homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, gardening, playing with and watching her dogs, cats, ducks, and her goose. Her favorite thing to do was cook and share time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of over 45 years, Roger Hall; her grandson, Klayton Moore; and two sisters, Rita Cox and Tina Hettinger.
Nola is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Rebecca Hall of Bodcaw; her daughter and son-in-law, Windee and Andrew Cole of De Queen; her grandchildren, Jace and Trey Tipton of Bodcaw, and Paityn Cole of De Queen; brother, Howard Holmes of Benton; sister, Terri Williams of Texarkana; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Graveside services for Mrs. Nola Hall will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Millwee Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Trauger officiating. General viewing will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen.
Charles Edgar Chandler
Charles Edgar Chandler, age 74, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021 a Texarkana hospital.
Mr. Chandler was born October 1, 1947 in De Queen, AR. to Levi and Mattie Chandler. He was a retired train engineer for De Queen and Eastern Railroad. He was a member of First Baptist Church, De Queen. He enjoyed hunting, watching westerns, but most of all spending time with his family especially his grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Mattie Ramsey Chandler; two brothers R.L. Chandler and Coy Chandler, two sisters, Eula Elder and Mittie Jean Hendricks.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Charlotte Fowler Chandler of De Queen, two daughters and son in laws, Chwanda and Floyd Vocque of Bauxite and Chayla and Chad Earney of De Queen; four grandsons, Hayden Vocque of Bauxite, Taylor Vocque of Bauxite, Hunter Earney of De Queen, and Cole Earney of De Queen; one brother, Arlice Chandler of Horatio; four sisters, Betty Cooper of Glenpool, OK., Henrietta (Alvie) Nix of Horatio, Patricia (Danny) Lipsey of Horatio, Janette Durham of Mesquite, TX and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Charles will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Old Center Church in Horatio, Arkansas with Bro. Josh Herwick officiating.
