Mrs. Betty Lutz
Mrs. Betty Marie Mangold Lutz, age 86, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Thursday, April 15, 2021 at her home.
Betty was born December 10, 1934 in De Queen, Arkansas to Earl and Marie Mangold. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas McKinley Lutz; her father, Earl Mangold; her mother, Marie Mangold; brothers, Floyd Walker and M.E. Walker; and her sister, Elizabeth Hoover.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her daughter, Melissa Marie Lutz, and her son, Mark Mangold Lutz, both of De Queen; one grandson, Garrett Lutz of Texas; and a number of nieces, and nephews. She also leaves her cherished brothers and sisters of the De Queen Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Betty faithfully served as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses since her baptism in Texas in 1957. She loved and cherished her Christian ministry. She loved teaching others about the Bible and how God’s Kingdom is the true solution to all mankind’s problems.
Betty supported her husband in his foreign service career assignments around the world. She travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. She was a gourmet cook and led various international cooking groups overseas. She worked as a medical assistant for years. She was an accomplished artist and loved sharing her talent with others, especially young ones. She had an incredible love for animals and cherished each and every one.
Those closest to Betty describe her as the most loving and generous person ever. She is the greatest mother, wife, and friend a person could ever hope to have.
Services for Mrs. Betty Lutz will be held via Zoom at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 24, 2021, with Jerry Brazeal officiating. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.

Billy Ray Tallant
Billy Ray Tallant, age 54, a resident of Line Road, Haworth, OK, died Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was born July 31, 1966 in Oklahoma City, OK, to Ronald and Linda Tunnell Tallant. Billy Ray was a mechanic, carpenter, and a man of many talents.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Carol Wise Tallant; two sons, Garlon James Swistok and Travis John Swistok both of Simms, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Tammy Tallant of Arkinda, Arkansas; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Gina and Jesse Tucker of Ashdown, AR and Jenifer Bearden and Billy Steiner, Jr. of Foreman, Arkansas; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and several special nieces and nephews that he loved like his own children.
Graveside funeral services for Billy Ray will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Campground Cemetery Pavilion with Audie Dawson officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
Family will receive friends 2:00 p.m. – 4:00p.m., Friday, April 16, 2021 at the funeral home.
Roger H. Click
Rodger H. Click, 91 of Winthrop, Arkansas, passed away Saturday April 10, 2021. He was born on April 1, 1930 in Winthrop, the oldest child of Loma and Dick Click. Rod graduated from Winthrop High School and from there went to college at Magnolia A&M for two years. He then graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1954 with a degree in Agriculture. While attending college he married Wanda Sorrels. During his high school years he delivered ice and helped his grandmother milk cows each morning for shipment. After college he worked as an instructor teaching farming skills to veterans. He then took a position at Winthrop school as an agriculture and science teacher for 22 years. Afterwards, he established Click Pulpwood in Winthrop where he bought pulpwood for International Paper Company. He also raised cattle until the age of 89.
Rod and Wanda enjoyed raising three children and he also loved spending time with his four grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan, baseball being his favorite. He and friends would catch the train in Winthrop and ride to watch the St. Louis Cardinals play. As a young man he and others would play baseball on Sunday afternoons. He and Wanda would often take their children to watch professional baseball games. Opening day this year was on his birthday and he was in his recliner ready when it came on. He was an Arkansas Razorback fan of all sports.
He is predeceased by his wife, Wanda, son, Rodger D. Click and nephew, Randy Murry. He is survived by two daughters and one son-in -law Pam Click and Melanie and Mickey Buchanan; four grandchildren, Courtney Click (Sarah) and Carly Stanley (Garrett), Dylan Buchanan, and Ty Buchanan; and four great-grandchildren, Madison Click, Emmy Click, Mia Stanley and Garrison Stanley. He is also survived by five siblings Dr. Mary Ellen Jenkins (Bobby), Steve Click, Sharon Oglesby (Darrel), Donna Murry (Jimmy), and Charlie Click (Anita). Pallbearers are his nephews and nieces John Jenkins, Stephen Jenkins, Stephanie Roberson, Becky Nelson, Stephen Click, Jim Murry, Clark Murry, Craig Click and Jason Click.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winthrop School Restoration and Campground Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 5:00p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the funeral home. Funeral Services for Mr. Click will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 16, 2021 in the Winthrop First Baptist Church with Audie Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Campground Cemetery in Winthrop.
Walter Dewitt Seale
Walter Dewitt Seale, age 75, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas, died Sunday, April 11, 2021 in Springdale, Arkansas.
He was born April 27, 1945 in Mena, Arkansas. He was Purchasing Manager for Weyerhaeuser in Dierks for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren, and was an avid Razorback fan. He was always willing to help anyone and was loved by many. Mr. Seale was a Deacon of First Baptist Church of Dierks.
Dewitt was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Benjamin and Ruby Pearl Spurling Seale; two brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon Phillips Seale; two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Dr. Lindsey Seale of Springdale, AR; Shaun and Amy Seale of Hot Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Craig Stout of West Fork, Arkansas; one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Neil Connor of Quitman, Texas; six grandchildren, Alexandra Seale, Grayson Seale, Savannah Lippincott and husband Tyler, Cameron Stout, Peyton Stout, Logan Stout and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Seale will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in the First Baptist Church in Dierks with Craig Chambers and Fred Wetzel officiating. Burial will be in Breashears Cemetery in Story, Arkansas.
General viewing for Mr. Seale will be held 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the funeral home in Dierks.
The family requests that everyone wear a face mask and practice social distancing for safety.

Rayford Alton Bowden
Rayford Alton Bowden, age 83, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Friday, April 9, 2021 at his home.
He was born January 30, 1938 in Owassa, Alabama. He was a CPA and plant manager at Pilgrims Pride. He was active in the Salvation Army and was a member of Gideons international and a member of 1st Assembly of God Church in De Queen were he helped establish the Royal Rangers.
Alton was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Fay Spence Bowden; his first wife, Lela Dozier Bowden; one sister and brother-in-law, Melba and Billy Wells; one brother, Howard Bowden and one grandson, Zachary Bowden.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Bell Bowden; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Kristin Bowden of Hot Springs, Johnny and Sheri Hall of De Queen, one daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Huey Gees of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; one brother, Jerry Bowden of Ohio; seven grandchildren, Brett, Jessica, Cheyenne Hall, Ryan and wife Ashlee, Aaron, Joshua Bowden and Landon Thweatt and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 16, 2021 at the funeral home.
A graveside memorial service for Mr. Bowden will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Old Piney Cemetery with Ron Drye and Ryan Bowden officiating.

Leroy Williams
Leroy Williams born February 2, 1962 to Reed and Nollies Broach Williams in Mena, Arkansas.
Leroy was a loved husband, dad, papa, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He worked hard doing insulation work on power plants, traveling to different locations. When an accident in 2003 left him unable to work, he was able to enjoy watching birds flock to his feeders. He looked forward to Spring to get started gardening. He loved this, it was his passion. His gardens were full and beautiful and always bountiful enough to share quite a bit. He loved hunting and fishing too and family get togethers. He was family oriented and never hesitated if anyone needed him, he would drop what he was doing to help. He adored his two grandkids and took pride in teaching them a wide variety of handy ways to do things and his cute phrases he always said like, “papa got it.” He loved and cherished his wife Tammy for every minute of their 26 years. They had the phrase, “two mules pulling the same plow” and they worked thru to the end pulling the same plow. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ray Williams, JL Williams, and Grover Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy; daughter, Nikki Odle; two grandkids, Ali and Jack; one brother, Joe Williams and wife Elaine; five sisters, Becky Sherrouse of Wickes, Arkansas, Mary and husband John Whitlow, Ruby and husband Edward, Billy Faye and husband John, and Betty and husband Jim Williamson. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the West View Cemetery in Cove, Arkansas with Brother Tim Smedley officiating under the direction of Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
Mary Ellen Morgan Gorman
Mrs. Mary Ellen Morgan Gorman, age 82, a resident of Foreman, Arkansas, died Friday, April 9, 2021 in Little River Nursing and Rehab in Ashdown.
She was born January 13, 1939 in Saltillo, Texas. Mary was a homemaker and worked with her husband in logging. She enjoyed raking her yard, her dogs and baking tea cakes. She was a member of the King Ryder Church of Christ.
Mrs. Gorman was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. and Alberta Galloway Morgan; her husband of 41 years Charlie Everett “Ebb” Gorman; one brother, Billy Joe Morgan; three sisters, Betty Kennedy, Effie Rogers and Judy Davis.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles Edward Gorman and Jacki of Foreman, Arkansas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Lavonne Ward of Winthrop and Nora Alberta and Guy Blair of Witts Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Jan Davis of Foreman; one brother, Curtis Morgan, of Pittsburg, Texas; six grandchildren, Marla D. Ward, Wyatt L. Ward, Ashley D. Ward Bell, Sara Stewart, Mahala Gorman and Charlie Gorman; seven great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Gorman will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Campground Cemetery Pavilion with James McRae officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
