Mr. Carroll Wayne Watkins
Mr. Carroll Wayne Watkins, age 73, passed from this life on Friday, March 26, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born to Dan and Mildred Watkins on September 1, 1947. He married the love of his life on June 29, 1970 and from this union two daughters and a son were born.
Carroll Wayne was a quiet, shy man who loved big. He loved God, his wife and her cooking, especially her homemade biscuits. Carroll Wayne loved his children, his grandchildren and his animals. He loved singing gospel music, reading, especially Native American history and the Bible. He loved to tell the story of the first time he saw his wife and he knew immediately that she would one day be his wife. He loved banana pudding, pocketknives, a crackling hot fire, classic cars and playing Scrabble. Most of all Carroll Wayne loved time spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving grandparents, Jim and Clara Hendricks and his wonderful, loving Aunt, Merlene Hendricks Mize.
Carroll Wayne leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Joyce Watkins; his daughter Sabrina Johnson and her husband, Christopher Johnson; his son Carroll Wayne Watkins, II and his wife, Amy Watkins; his daughter, Hannah Watkins and her significant other Sean Oler; four grandchildren, Katherine and Brody Watkins and Jessica and Corbin Johnson; his brother, Barry Watkins; and his nephews, Brennan and Braxton Watkins.
Funeral Services for Mr. Carroll Wayne Watkins will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, March 29, 2021 at Old Center Church, Horatio, Arkansas, with Pastor Wakley officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 4-6 pm, Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the funeral home.

Charles Devin Kissinger
Charles Devin Kissinger, age 36 a resident of Texarkana, Texas, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in Wadley hospital in Texarkana a result of injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
He was born October 4, 1984, in De Queen, Arkansas. He attecnd Horatio School; he worked for T&A Trucking Service; he was a computer genius and he enjoyed keeping up with the latest technology. Devin was a truck driver and diesel mechanic and a Baptist. Devin is loved and will be greatly missed. He was a proud member of the Hells Lovers Motorcycle Club of Texarkana, Texas and was dedicated to his chosen brothers, Jimmie Sixx, Trouble, Bam Bam, Sonic, Wicked, Nappy, Showtime.
Devin is survived by his children Grayson, Dustie; his father Charles “Buck” Kissinger and his mother Cindie Roberts of Horatio, his brother, Caleb Kissinger of Panama, Oklahoma; Rowdy Roberts of Horatio; two sisters, Shyla Kissinger of De Queen and Summer Roberts of De Queen; his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Barbara Kissinger of Horatio; a maternal grandparents Mack and Mary Lambeth of De Queen and a number of nieces and nephews.

Vernell McKelvy Loe
Vernell Delila Green McKelvy Loe, age 91, passed away March 21, 2021 at Hillcrest Nursing and Rehab in Prescott.
Mrs. Loe was born at Cale, Arkansas April 4, 1929 to the late Luchus Berry and Tena Helsel Green.
She worked as a homemaker, farm worker, and was manager of the Prescott Farm Store for several years. She served as mayor of Bluff City from 2001 to 2013. She loved gardening, growing flowers, and crafts. She was a member of the Bluff City Church of Christ, where she taught classes for the young children.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ruel McKelvy; her second husband, Olen Loe; three brothers, Lonnie D. Green, Imon Lee Green, and James D. Green; two sisters, Mae Belle Green and Helen May.
She is survived by a step-son, who was like a son to her, Jerry McKelvy and wife Jeanie of Camden; two sons, Billy Ray McKelvy and wife Robbie of DeQueen, Arkansas, Eddy Gene McKelvy, wife Connie of Bluff City, Arkansas; one brother, Homer Green, wife Janice of Rosston, Arkansas; two sisters, Betty Tomlin, husband Dent of Rosston, Arkansas, Marie Bussell, husband Kenneth of Camden, Arkansas; three grandsons, Adam McKelvy (Ashley), Joseph McKelvy (Elizabeth), Daniel McKelvy (Jade); one granddaughter, Ashley McKelvy; three grandsons, Garrett, Bennett and Ruel; two great-granddaughters, Ella and Lorraine; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Due to Covid restrictions, all attendees should wear masks and practice social distancing at the visitation and funeral service.
Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Brazzel/Cornish 1196 Hwy 371 West Prescott, Arkansas, 71857.
Funeral service will be 10:00am on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Bluff City Church of Christ, with Bro. Phil Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bluff City. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home, Eddie Brazzel, Director.

Janelle (Jan) Baughn Holmes
Janelle (Jan) Baughn Holmes, age 59, a resident of Benton, Ar and former resident of De Queen, AR, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, AR.
She was born in Newton, Kansas, June 29, 1961 to Roy and Virginia Jackson Baughn.
Jan was widely known and loved for her career in caring for the sick and using her knowledge and skills to teach other health care workers. She was a CPR instructor, a national registered Emergency Medical Technician, a member of the Bauxite Fire Department, a licensed Esthetician and owner and operator of “Facials by Jan” in downtown Benton. She made time to spend with her family and was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and “Nana”. Friends were numerous, as she was endearing, joyful, loving and kind and they gave back as much as they got from her. She had a heart of gold but that heart finally gave out on her when God decided she needed to rest from her many years of tending to others. She will be missed by many.
Jan was preceded in death by her father Roy Baughn, her brother Dwane Baughn and all maternal and paternal grandparents.
Jan is survived by her husband, Howard; two sons, Chris and wife Alaine, and Josh Holmes of Benton; two grandchildren Aubry and C.J.; her mother Virginia Baughn of Horatio; two sisters, Lisa Johnson and husband Archie of De Queen, Belinda Moore of Broken Bow, Okla. and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service has been planned for Jan Holmes, Saturday, March 27 at 2:30 p.m. at the home of her mother in Horatio, Ark.
The speaker at the memorial service will be Bobby Tatum, Minister of Horatio Church of Christ, and any friends of Jan are welcome to attend and speak of their memories of Jan.
Mrs. Irma Wood
Mrs. Irma Sue Jacobs Wood was the youngest of ten children born to A. C. “Buck” and Virdie Bryant Jacobs. Irma was born on April 23, 1941 in Bethel, Oklahoma, and passed from this life on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, in Denton, Texas, after having attained the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 6 days.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, worked in Leather Goods and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene Wood; her brothers, Austin Jacobs, Baustin Jacobs, George Thomas Jacobs, Hubert Jacobs, Marion Jacobs, and J. D. Jacobs; infant sister, Virdie Jo Jacobs, and Birdie Walker.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son Eldon Marshall and his girlfriend Misty Rickard of Bowie, Texas; a daughter, Virdie Reichel of Duncan, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Brian McClain, Brittani Marshall, Shelby Marshall, Celest Rickard, Zane Rickard, and Tristan Rickard; a great-grandchild, Christine Richard; a brother, M. C. Jacobs of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as, other family members and a host of friends.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Irma Wood will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Oak Grove Cemetery, Wickes, Arkansas, with Bobby Tatum, Minister officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
Louise “Granny” Gaddis Little
Louise “Granny” Gaddis Little, age 88, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Monday, March 22, 2021 at her home.
She was born April 19, 1932, in Langley, Arkansas. She was a housekeeper for De Queen schools for 18 years and was a Baptist.
Mrs. Little was preceded in death by her parents, William C. and Mollie McAnnelly Gaddis and her husband, Dale Little; one brother, Harold David Gaddis; one sister, Ruby Smalley; brother-in-law, A.C. Smalley.
She is survived by one son; Tommy Little of De Queen; one daughter, Dalana Chandler of De Queen; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Jean Wilcher of De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2021 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel.

Henry Lee Jones
Mr. Henry Lee Jones, age 58, of Foreman, Arkansas, was called home to be with is Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Henry was born on June 30, 1962 in Foreman, Arkansas. He worked as a Laborer for Pallet One in New Boston, Texas and in Janitorial for Domtar in Ashdown, Arkansas. He was a member of Richland Baptist Church in Foreman and enjoyed fishing and watching football. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburg Steelers. Most of all, Henry cherished the time spent with his loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta Jones; two sisters, Loretta Threadgill and Geneva Williams; and a nephew, Terri Lynn Threadgill.
Those left to cherish his many memories include, the love of his life whom he shared twenty-three loving years, Clathea McFalls of Foreman; three daughters, Tierra Jones of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Shamecka Jones of Foreman, and Katerra Cooper of Nash, Texas; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Eatha Mae and Alford Williams of Foreman, Ester and Anthony Haskins of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Wilma Burris of Foreman; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Joseph and Summer Jones of Foreman, Erick and Kim Jones of Foreman, and Charles Jones of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a special brother, Bobby Joe Baker and his wife Senda of Foreman; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Henry Jones will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 27, 2021 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Earl Williams and Pastor Glenda Threadgill officiating. Burial will follow at the Alfred French Cemetery, Foreman, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. General viewing will be held at 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Friday, March 26th, at the funeral home.
