Linda D. Pamplin
Ms. Linda D. Billings Pamplin, age 66, of Hochatown, Oklahoma, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Linda was born in De Queen, Arkansas on March 26, 1954 to A.C. Billings, Jr. and Jessie Mae Gatin Billings.
Linda was someone that if she called you “friend” you were a lucky person. She would do anything she could for you and was always doing little things to make you feel like you were special. She was always giving gifts and her time to those she loved, just because. She had a heart that could change the world, so full and open. She loved to travel and was a foodie through and through, no one could make a better cheesecake. She was also a woman of strong faith, even in the last years, she never questioned her Creator just followed and loved Him unwaveringly. She had a spark in her eye and her smile that would make you melt. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Linda will be missed immensely by all that knew her. She was a gift to us all for just a moment in time.
Linda was preceded in death by her father and mother, A.C. and Jessie Billings; and grand-daughter, Penelope Mae Pamplin.
Linda is survived by her son, Stephen M. Fenwick of Texas; her daughter, Stephanie J. Pamplin, of Hochatown, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Kristen Rodriguez and her husband Carlos of Dayton, Texas, and their three children, Carlos Jr., Chloe and Callie “Lemon”; Kaitlin Fenwick of Buna, Texas; her step-mother and dear friend, Sarah Ann Nance Billings of Mena, Arkansas; two brothers, Dwaynn Billings and his wife Nona of Bethal, Oklahoma; Dwight Billings and his wife June of Grannis, Arkansas; a very special cousin, whom she saw as more of an “extra” brother, Asa Von Reefschneider and his wife Deborah of Clyde, Texas; one step-brother and his wife, Jamie and Sue Cavner of Board Camp, Arkansas; one step sister and her husband, Gayle and Michael Gannon or Rogers, Arkansas; two very special friends who were more like family to her, Clinton and Vickie Kennedy of Liberty, Texas; she leaves behind many more extended family members and friends, all will miss her dearly.
Graveside Services for Ms. Linda Pamplin will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, February22, 2021 at the Grannis Cemetery with Pastor E.J. Tena officiating. Burial will follow, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
The use of a face mask or covering will be required during your time at the funeral home.
Barbara Jo Martin
Barbara Jo Martin was born November 2, 1940, in Borger, Texas to Maxine and Roy Martin. She passed from this life on Wednesday, February 17,2021 in De Queen. Barbara grew up in Minden, Louisiana and later in life moved to De Queen, AR. She was a member of First Baptist Church in De Queen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxine and Roy Martin; one aunt, Earlene Donaldson and uncle Bernard Cowden.
Barbara is survived by her loving aunt, Thelma Moore and husband John and several cousins, including Ronnie Cowden, Pam Bingham, Scott Cowden, Kaye Smith and Glen Donaldson. The family would like to thank Bear Creek Nursing facility for their loving care.
No service are planned at this time.
Rose Diane Deer Cox
Rose Diane Deer Cox, age 64, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, died Sunday, February 14, 2021, at her home.
She was born October 11, 1956, in De Queen, Arkansas. Mrs. Cox was a homemaker, a secretary for Dierks School and Weyerhaeuser. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening and working in the yard. She was a member of Greens Chapel Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Mildred Deer and her husband, Michael Lloyd “ Mickey” Cox and a number of brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Don Brown of Greens Chapel and Jason Brown (Shawna) of Greens Chapel; one daughter, Shana Ray of Greens Chapel; one sister, Glenda Conatser of Nashville; one brother, Ricky Deer of Murfreesboro, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren, Isaac Brown, Haydn Ross, Carson Ross, Bailee Brown, Loghan Brown, Daylon Brown, Levi Dalton Ray, Christian Farmer, Leigha Kilcollins, Zac Kilcollins, Dalton Kilcollins, Harley Pender, Mazzey Pender and a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Cox will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at the Old New Hope Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home De Queen.
General viewing will be held from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2021, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Earl Douglas Christopher Sr.
Earl Douglas Christopher Sr., age 92, a resident of Center Point, Arkansas, died Sunday, February 14, 2021, at his home.
He was born September 9, 1928, in Pocastic, Oklahoma. Mr. Christopher was a World War II Army Veteran, a member of Living Rock Church and worked for Weyerhaeuser in Dierks.
Mr. Christopher was preceded in death by his first wife Evelyn Christopher; his parents, George and Mini Cambell Christopher, four brothers, Raymond Christopher, Orbry Christopher, Carl Christopher and James Christopher and one sister, Elsie Riddrich.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Willis Christopher of Centerpoint; his children, Jesse and Jenny Christopher of Texas, Earl Jr. and Brenda Christopher of Centerpoint, Terry and Anita Mitchell of Dierks, Billy Joe and Linda Christopher of Prescott, Mike and Kim Christopher of Centerpoint and Kelly Paul Christopher of New Hope, Arkansas, stepchildren, Bobby and Sally Sharp of Umpire, John and Deloris Sunday of Mena; two sisters, Alta Piercy and Ruthie Houston of Oklahoma; twenty grandchildren and forty-seven great grandchildren and forty-four great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mr. Christopher will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Sunshine Cemetery with Pastor Joe Kelly officiating under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks.
Visitation for Mr. Christopher will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2021, at the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks.

Calvin Loyd “Jack” Jones
Mr. Calvin Loyd “Jack” Jones, age 80, a resident of Grannis, Arkansas, died Friday, February 12, 2021, at his home.
He was born November 30, 1940 in Grannis. He was an auctioneer, carpenter, and loved peddlin his fruit.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Frankie Pauline (Burke) Jones; his wife, Dorothy Jones; one brother, Tom Jones; and a special uncle, Sonny Burke.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Frachiseur Jones; one sister, Paula “Midge” and Joe Daniels; 6 children and their spouses, Kenney and Mona Cecil, Jesse and Donna Jones, Penny Craig and Jeff Turner, Georgia Dale and Billy Willis, Janet and Jimmy Morphew and Chuck and Frances Cornett; grandchildren, Donovan Jones, Dustin Jones, Matthew Jones, Stephanie Cecil, James Lee and Krystal Cecil, Lisa and Ronny McEuen, Justin and Tabitha Craig, Jeremy and Tiffany Craig, Jeremy Willis, Stephanie Cornett and Jimmy Smedley, Jarred and Amanda Morphew, Heath and April Morphew, Clint and Bridgett McMillian, Seth and Molly Cornett; 25 great-grandbabies; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
General viewing for Mr. Jones will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 20, 2021 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Steven Chenoweth officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery in Grannis, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Walter Melvin Sullivan
Walter Melvin Sullivan, age 87, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at his home.
He was born September 11, 1933, in the Baker Community near Wickes, Arkansas. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in De Queen. He served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne Division and received the National Defense Service Medal. He was the 35th Degree Mason and served the De Queen, Gillham and Wickes Lodges. Graduated from Monticello A&M, he worked for Dierks Lumber Company, Weyerhaeuser Company and Lane Poultry/ Tyson Foods; he owned and operated the Triple S Farm and Ranch; he served as Rotary president 2000-2001 where he earned the Paul Harris Award, he received the President Award from Cossatot Community College UA Foundation 2009. He developed two sub-divisions in De Queen, Northgate and Long Meadow Drive. He served on the Board of Directors of the J. Lynn Helms Sevier County Airport and was Polk County Farm Family of the year. He also was one of the founders of First State Bank in De Queen and Sevier County Cattleman’s.
Mr. Sullivan was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Pauline Sheehan Sullivan and one brother, Harrison Sullivan.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Wanda Sullivan; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sherry Sullivan; one daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Chet Cowling of De Queen; one granddaughter, Kaydee Cowling; two step grandsons, Trent Cowling and Jarod Cowling and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial services for Mr. Sullivan will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the Daniel Cemetery in Wickes with Brother Steve Copely, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen.

De Loyie Boone
Mr. Deloyie Boone, age 85, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Bear Creek Healthcare, De Queen.
Deloyie was the youngest of six children born to William Frank and Pearl Everett Boone on February 22, 1935 in Clebit, Oklahoma. He was a 1953 graduate of Dierks High School. He married Bobbie Jean Ayers on March 7, 1975 in Idabel, Oklahoma. He and Bobbie owned and operated De’s in Horatio and later in 1981, they opened De’s Palace in De Queen. Deloyie worked many years for De Queen and Eastern/Texas, Oklahoma and Eastern Railroad, retiring as Train Master. He was a member of De Queen First Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and traveling, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of over 40 years, Bobbie Boone; one brother, Abe Boone; and four sisters, Nadine Hill, Ruby Upton, Polly Boone and Ruth Griffin.
Deloyie leaves to cherish his memory, four daughters and one son-in-law, Kathy and Kenneth Gabbard of De Queen, Patti Boone of De Queen, Tory Shipley of Broken Bow, and Sheryl Lane of De Queen; one son, Mark Everitt of Crossroads; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Chase Gabbard, Dana Kennedy, Bradley and Kaytlon Everitt, Amanda and Clark Whitfield, David Russell, Jason and Kayla Russell, and Chad and Courtney Klitz; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Mabel Boone of Rogers, Mary and Travis Everitt of Eustace, Texas, and Nola Fant of Texas; one brother-in-law, Sonny Ayers of Lockesburg; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Deloyie Boone will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 29, 2021, at the Redmen Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. Adam Key officiating. Burial will follow, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. General viewing will be held from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
