Rickie Paul Walker
Rickie Paul Walker, age 70, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas died Sunday, November 8, 2020, at his home.

He was born June 30, 1950 in Muse, Oklahoma. He was a retired rancher and truck driver.

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents Rev. J. L. and Thelma Simmons Walker; two brothers Rufus Walker and Donnie Ray Walker.

He is survived by one brother and a sister-in-law, Ronnie and Donna Walker of Horatio and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Debbie Brotherton of De Queen and Judy and Jim Wilson of Rayne, Louisiana and one sister-in-law, Mildred Walker of Horatio, his step mother, Irma Walker of De Queen and a number of nieces and nephews.

Per Rickie’s request there will be no services.

Cremation arrangements by Wilkerson Funeral Home De Queen, AR.

Windle Peek
Windle Peek, age 79, passed away November 4, 2020 at his home in the Goodwater, OK Community. He was born November 21, 1940 at Goodwater, OK.

He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years and returned to Goodwater becoming a lifelong resident, raising his family there.

Windle worked for Weyerhaeuser/TO&E Railroad as a welder/supervisor for 40 years as well as running a cattle ranch. After he retired, he dedicated his time and energy into keeping the cattle ranch up and running. If neighbors needed help with anything, Windle was the one they called, because whatever the reason was, they knew Windle would know how to help them. He was wealth of knowledge. Windle was a strong loving man who loved his family and taught them strength, honesty, and the knowledge to face life’s challenges and to love the land.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorene Peek; two sisters, Sandra Peek and Margie White; and a brother, James Peek.

Windle is survived by his father, Ray Peek of Goodwater; sisters Gail Blythe of Goodwater and Pat Dunlap of Winnsboro, TX.; his daughter, Wendy Rawls and husband, Robert; a son, Jerry Peek and wife, Melissa, all of the Goodwater Community; grandchildren, Kayla Black, of Horatio, AR., Lakyn Farren and husband, David of the Shinewell Community, Jerrod Peek and wife, Jandy of Goodwater, Rachel Smith and husband, Cody of Bristow, OK, Trysten Rawls and wife, Jody of Goodwater; great-grandchildren, Jagger & Dallas Farren, Brooke and Brayden Smith, Jed and July Peek; an aunt, Mary Bryant of Haworth, OK; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A memorial celebration of life service with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the White Family Chapel with Bro Mark Davidson officiating.

Charles Leroy Stewart
Charles Leroy Stewart, age 76, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in his home.

He was born October 20, 1944 in Arkinda, Arkansas. He served in the U.S. Marines, was retired from Husqvarna and a member of the First Baptist Church in De Queen. He loved fishing and enjoyed mowing his yard.

Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Lena Dollarhide Stewart and his wife Sharon Stewart, two brothers, George Stewart and Walter Jr. Stewart and one sister, Dorothy Stewart.

He is survived by one son, Michael Stewart of Lawrence, Kansas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Andrea and Micah Frazier of Broken Bow, OK, Brenda and James Alexander of De Queen and Susan Freeman of De Queen; one brother, Gene Stewart of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren, Katie Jo, Taran, Brooklyn, Christian, Hunter, Shiney, Hope and Chance; one great-granddaughter Charlie and a number of nieces and nephews.

General viewing for Mr. Stewart will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Chapel Hill Cemetery in De Queen.

The family requests that everyone wear a face mask and practice social distancing for safety.

Dorothy Margaret Williams
Dorothy Margaret Grimes Williams, age 86, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

She was born July 21, 1934, in Sandersville Georgia. She was a retired teacher and a member of the First Baptist Church in De Queen.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents Buford and Eunice Shephard Grimes and her husband Hubert Thomas Williams, Sr.,

She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Liz and Terrel Gore of Kankakee, Illinois and Sharon and Levi Pigeon of De Queen; one son and daughter-in-law Tommy and Kelly Williams of De Queen, five grandchildren, Stacey Jarboe, Jill Campbell, Lacey Young, Kimberly Martin and Trey Williams; 11 great grandchildren, Bryson and Tyler Jarboe, Bradi, Presli, Harper and Hank Young, Emme, Lila and Silas Martin, Zayden and Sawyer Williams and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Bro. Micah Martin officiating under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Charles Randy Hall
Mr. Charles Randy Hall, age 71, resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at his home with family by his side.

He was born to Guy Randolph and Frances Imagene Story Hall on May 31, 1949 in De Queen, Arkansas. Randy was a 1968 graduate of De Queen High School and received a welding degree from the college in Hope. He worked for De Queen Sand and Gravel, worked more than 20 years as ranch foreman for Bear Creek Ranch, founded Hall Farms in August of 1980, and was a part-time truck driver for Tri-Lakes Services. Randy married the love of his life, Linda Mae Friend, on May 31, 1968 in Dierks, Arkansas. She and Randy are members of the De Queen Church of Christ. He enjoyed deer and elk hunting, working and spending time at his farm, but more than anything, he cherished the time spent with his children and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Russell Wayne Hall; and one sister, Elaine Melvin.

Randy leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 52 years, Linda Hall of Lockesburg; two sons, Michael Hall and wife Sandra of Arkadelphia, and Gary Hall and wife Christine of De Queen; one daughter, Rosanne Ramirez and husband Rafael Ramirez of De Queen; five grandchildren, Michael Hall, Jr. and wife Breanna, Coleton Hall, Seth Tollett, Tessa Tollett, and Miranda Pence and husband Kody; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Elias and husband Chad, and Betty Tollett and husband Lovell; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friend.

Funeral Services for Mr. Randy Hall will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 6, 2020 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Duane Alspaw and Rodger Neeley officiating. Burial will follow at Redmen Cemetery, De Queen, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.

The use of a face mask or covering will be required during your time at the funeral home.

Jimmy Lee Woodall
Jimmy Lee Woodall, age 72, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas died Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in his home.

He was born August 6, 1948 in De Queen, Arkansas. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, was a retired carpenter and was retired from maintenance at Arkansas Christopher Homes. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Mr. Woodall was preceded in death by his mother Maudie Collum Irvan and two brothers E.L. Irvan and William Irvan.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Mary Jane Woodall; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shawn Nickerson and Shannon and Joel France all Horatio, one son, David Nickerson Jr. of De Queen; 4 grandchildren, Christopher and wife Renee Hill of Ashdown, Arkansas, Hannah France of Ruston, Louisiana, Brittany Rogers of Horatio and Skye Nickerson of De Queen, 1 great grandson, Konner Hill of Hooks, Texas; a number of nieces and nephews and special friend, Dwight Murphy of Horatio.

Graveside services for Mr. Woodall will be held at 1:00p.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 at Clear Creek Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Roden officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home, De Queen.

Mrs. Martha Miller
Mrs. Martha Mae Burkhart Miller, age 75, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at her home.

Martha was born to Fred and Lexie McMillen Burkhart on March 20, 1945 in Mena, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, Ralph Wayne Miller, on May 1, 1964 in Vandervoort, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and member of Old Center Holiness Church in Horatio. Martha often attended services at the Rose Hill Gospel Mission in De Queen, as well. she enjoyed going to church, keeping up with her friends and making her rounds in De Queen, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents;; her loving husband of over 49 years, Ralph Miller; and a niece, Amy.

She leaves to cherish her memory, four nephews and their spouses, Keith Renfroe and wife Linda, Ronald Renfroe and wife Elizabeth, Kenny Pearce and wife Katherine, and Brent Pearce and wife Samantha; one niece, Stacy Braniff and husband Mike; two sisters-in-law, Lois Renfroe and Medene Pearce; other family members, Della and Sterling Daniel of De Queen; special friend, Judy Cowling of Horatio; as well as, her church family and friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Martha Miller will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Billy Don Weeks and Wes Wakley officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Cove, Arkansas, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Due to current health conditions, the use of a face mask or covering will be required during your time at the funeral home.
