Stella Lee Collier Gallaher
Mrs. Stella Lee Collier Gallaher, age 87, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas died Friday, July 31, 2020, in Ashdown, Arkansas.
She was born March, 14, 1933, in De Queen, Arkansas. Stella was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lockesburg. She enjoyed her flowers around the house, cooking, and taking care of her family.
Mrs. Gallaher was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Lester and Edrie McConnel Collier; her husband, Raymond P. Gallaher, Jr.; one brother, Tommy Collier; one grandson, Arthur Raymond Nation III; and one granddaughter, Tara Lee Gallaher.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Mike and Glenda Gallaher of Richmond, Texas and Eddy and Donna Gallaher of Lockesburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Mark Spears of Nashville, Arkansas; one sister, Willa Dean Griffin of Sherman, Texas; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Gallaher will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2020, at Lockesburg Cemetery with Bro. Ronnie Mayes officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
A general viewing will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1st at the funeral home.
Mr. William Campbell
Mr. William Harry Campbell, 81, of Fouke, AR passed away July 30, 2020, at Christus St. Michael’s hospital.
William was born April 9, 1939, in Wright City, Oklahoma. He was a retired carpenter and caretaker of an estate. He was a father to five daughters, one son, two stepdaughters and two stepsons. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Ann Campbell; one sister, two brothers and two great granddaughters.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Dotty Campbell of Fouke, Arkansas. His brother, Jessie and Velma Campbell of Grants Pass, Oregon; two sisters, Winnie & Don Wilson of Blossom, Texas and Martha Taylor of Idabel, Oklahoma. His six children, William Carl Campbell of Fouke, Arkansas, Debbie and John Conner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Donna and Kelley Lockhart of Texarkana, Texas, Keith and Mary Jansen of Fouke, Arkansas, Nora and Ronnie Sterling of Texarkana, Arkansas, Olina and Mike Spears of Camden, Arkansas. His step children, Sue and John Heath of Cecilia, Kentucky, Brent and Laura Franklin of Sims, Texas, Bryan Franklin of Fouke, Arkansas and LaVonda Jones of Fouke, Arkansas. He will also be missed by his 32 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services for Mr. William Campbell will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Moran Cemetery, Valliant, Oklahoma, with Bro. Robbie Jansen officiating. Burial will follow, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
Emma Addie Sharp Phillips
Emma Addie Sharp Phillips, age 80, a resident of Ashdown, Arkansas died Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in Ashdown.
She was born July 18, 1940 in Newhope, Arkansas. She worked administrative and supervisory positions in sales, was an assistant to the Sevier County Judge and a Baptist.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Bob Phillips of Pryor, Oklahoma; one daughter, Brenda Wilson of Tyler, Texas; her grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson of Tyler, and Nicole Young of Dierks, Arkansas; her siblings, Roger Sharp of Farmington Hills, Michigan, James Sharp of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Margaret Wilson of Rye, Texas, Evelyn Lindsey of Genoa, Arkansas, Louise Lemons of Nashville, Arkansas, Peggy Lacefield of De Queen, Arkansas, and Sue Thompson of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Charles Tramble
Mr. Charles Ray Tramble was born June 2, 1954 to Bertha Anna Odessa Daniels and Edward Hopper in Idabel, Oklahoma. He departed this life Tuesday, July 28, 2020, around 3:00 P.M., at home, surrounded by family and friends.
He attended school in Haworth, Oklahoma. At an early age he joined Rebecca Baptist Church. He was a hard worker in his duties as Maintenance Lead at Pilgrim’s Pride for 46 years, until his health began to fail him. He enjoyed singing and was a member of Traveling Kings and Golden Wing Quartet, playing dominoes, and the casino, but most of all, he enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha Daniels and Edward Hopper; two brothers, Jerry Dean Daniels and Billie Joe Tramble, as well as, a good friend and neighbor, Bill Brown.
In 1974 he met and married Dorothy Mae Griffin. From this union, four children were born. One preceding him in death, Felix Darnell Tramble, twin to his daughter, Felicia Michelle Tramble of De Queen, daughter, Tangia Rena Tramble of De Queen, three sons, Charles Edward Tramble of Clute, Texas, Edward and Kevin Wimbley of Arlington, Texas; eight surviving grandchildren, Briana L. (Jordan) Alexander, Tatyana Tramble, Kadeidra K. Baker, Kadarius T. Baker, Tadrenae Tamble, Traveon Tramble, Akilah Cole and Tahj McKinney; three great-grandchildren, Josiah D. Ruth, Bryce and Aaliyah Alexander; one brother, James (Beatrice) Tramble of Foreman; one God-sister, Ola Faye Turner; as well as, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Special friends include, Ricky Williams, Woodrow Threadgill, Paul and Della Spears, Lee Allen, James “Poochie” Franklin and Theo Bell, just to name a few. The list goes on. He was a well-known man and loved by many. He is gone but will never be forgotten.
Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Tramble will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Kulli, Oklahoma, with Eld. Jerome Edwards, Rev. Robert Easter, Rev. Jamie Erby and Rev. Randell R. Threadgill officiating. Special music will be by Aubrey Williams. Burial will follow, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, August 7th, at the funeral home.
Due to the pandemic, the family ask that everyone please wear a face mask or covering during the visitation and funeral service. “We love you all, but please, no hugging.”
Bobby Pearce
Bobby Pearce, age 87, a resident of Choctaw, Oklahoma died in Oklahoma City Thursday July 24, 2020, after a medical procedure.
He was born October 7, 1932, in Dixie, Oklahoma to Paul and Beulah Pearce.
He graduated from De Queen High School in 1953 and enlisted in the US Air Force in 1952. Bob worked at Tinker Air Force base in Electrical Engineer Management. Bob retired after 40 years of service and continued as a consultant for Altech Services and Virtual Technology Services. Bob married Ruthie Deane Robinson Pearce July 20, 1956 and they made their home in Choctaw, Oklahoma. He was a member of Grace Bible Church for over 65 years.
He is survived by three brothers, Bill and Lou Pearce of De Queen AR, Jack Pearce of De Queen AR,and Jim and Shirley Pearce of De Queen AR; a daughter, Michelle Gregory and son-in-law, David Gregory of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and two grandchildren, Austin Gregory and Aven Gregory of Choctaw, Oklahoma.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Pearce will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Chapel Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
A general viewing will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 29th at the funeral home.
Jose Socorro Osura
Mr. Jose Socorro Osura, age 59, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
He was born to Abundio Ozura Puerta and Maria del Rosario Palma on June 27, 1961 in Chihuahua, Mexico. He married the love of his life, Maria de Jesus Aguirre, on November 5, 1988, and to this union, four children were born. Jose spent the last eight years serving as a faithful employee of Huber in Broken Bow. He was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church in De Queen and enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, traveling, gardening and listening to music. He also enjoyed being active, remodeling houses and spending time with family and friends at a good cook-out.
He was preceded in death by his father and one granddaughter, Kaylie Osura.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 31 years, Maria Osura of De Queen; three sons, Casey Joe Osura and wife Yerendy of Texarkana, Arkansas, Keene Eric Osura of De Queen, and Danny Lee Osura, also of De Queen; one daughter, Lizbeth Osura of De Queen; two grandchildren, Avery Ann Osura and Casey Osura, Jr., both of Texarkana, Arkansas; his mother, Maria Palma; four brothers and four sisters; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Private Services for Mr. Jose Osura will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020. A public graveside service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Redmen Cemetery with Father Ramses Mendietta officiating. Burial will follow, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. General viewing will be held from 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
The use of a face mask or covering will be required during the viewing and funeral services.
Christopher Micheal Diggs
Christopher Micheal Diggs, age 33, a resident of Provo, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 in Big Spring, Texas.
He was born April 15, 1987, in Idabel, Oklahoma. He worked in the construction field mainly as a welder. Christopher was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, and bowler. He was generous, kind hearted, and quick to smile.
Mr. Diggs was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marion Diggs and his grandfather, Jude Diggs.
He is survived by his father, Kenneth Wayne Diggs of Provo; his mother, Janna Lynnette Bice of Van Buren, Arkansas; one sister and brother-in-law, Holly Annette and Will Goodwin of Van Buren; two nieces, Ashlynn Deer and Maci Goodwin both of Van Buren; and a multitude of friends and family all across the country.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Diggs will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020, in Belleville Cemetery with Jaron Tipton officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks.
A general viewing will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday July 29th at the funeral home chapel in Dierks.
