Ada Majorie Harris Johnson
Mrs. Ada Majorie Harris Johnson, age 88, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas passed peacefully from this earth Thursday, May 28, 2020, at her home.
She was born April 5, 1932, in Smithfield, North Carolina. She was a retired educator and enjoyed sewing. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Grace Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Thomas Kennedy Johnson, Sr. of 61 years; her father, Thomas Harris; her mother and step father, Elizabeth and Robert Ellington; and a sister, Shirley Taylor.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas K. Johnson, Jr., Susan Johnson, Rev. Timothy and Carrey Johnson, and Archie and Lisa Johnson all of De Queen; seven grandchildren, Gene Johnson and Crystal Johnson of California, Timothy “Gerry” Johnson, Tony Johnson, Kendall Johnson, Ashlie Johnson Ortega, and Stepheny Baughn; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and two nieces, one nephew, and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2020, at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Johnson and Rev. Dave Seifert officiating. Burial will follow in Redmen Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
General viewing will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 31st at the funeral home.

Delmon Lisenby
Delmon Lisenby, 71, of Foreman, AR passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at his home. He was born December 28, 1948 to the late Albert and Valentine (Rogers) Lisenby. Mr. Lisenby was retired from Domtar Paper Mill. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Lisenby, of Foreman, one daughter and son-in-law, Roslyn and Denny Turner of El Dorado, AR, two special nieces, Sherry Phillips and Cheryl Kennedy and one special nephew, James Wright.
A come and go visitation will be Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the Madden Funeral Home Chapel in Foreman, AR from 5:00 – 7:00. A graveside service will be Monday, May 25, 2020 at 10:00 at Strawn Cemetery in Foreman.
Ursulo Perez Munos
Ursulo Perez Munos, age 71, a resident of Gillham, Arkansas died Tuesday, May 26, 2020, in De Queen.
He was born October 21, 1948, in Pegueros Jalisco, Mexico to Luis Perez and Rafaela Munos.
He is survived by his wife, Ester Gutierrez; and eight sons, Clementina, Selina, Abel, Eduardo, Arturo, Irma, Elida and Yasmin.
Funeral Mass for Mr. Perez Munos were held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2020, at the St. Barbara Catholic Church with Father Ramses Mendieta officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mexico.
Walter Lee Jewell
Walter Lee Jewell, age 80, a resident of Gillham, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 25, 2020, at Bear Creek Healthcare in De Queen, Arkansas.
He was born February 17, 1940, in Vandervoort, Arkansas. He was a Baptist, and a logger.
Mr. Jewell was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence Jewell and Sarah Allen Jewell; two sons, Stanley Jewell and James Deane Gage.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years; Delena Jewell; one son, Stacey Jewell of Gillham; one step-daughter, Carla Helland of Elma, Washington; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marie Ashcraft, and May Smith and husband Greg all of Cove, three brothers and sisters-in-law, John Edward Jewell and wife Linda of Holly Springs, Mississippi, Gerald Jewell and wife Carolyn and Robert Jewell and wife Charlene all of Cove; two daughters-in-law, Becky Gage, and Nancy Jewell; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Edwin P. Torman
Edwin P. Torman, age 69, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville, Arkansas.
He was born November 29, 1950, in Majuro, Marshall Islands. He was the Pastor at De Queen Emmanuel New Hope Church and a former principal in the public school system in the Marshall Islands.
He is survived by his wife; Lucy Torman; one daughter, Cathleen Torman; four sons, Richard, Gerpert, and Ghomas Torman and Marclino Cabble; and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Torman will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen, Arkasnas.
Mr. Jose Camarillo
Mr. Jose Luz Camarillo, age 89, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, May 24, 2020 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital.
He was born to Genaro Camarillo and Ignacia Perez Camarillo on May 20, 1931 in San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico. He was a farmer and member of St. Barbara Catholic Church in De Queen. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed singing, watching western movies and he loved planting anything he could, but more than anything, he cherished the time spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ignacio Camarillo; three brothers, Carmen, Ramon and Manuel Camarillo; and one sister, Elena Camarillo.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of over 50 years, Tomasa Luna Camarillo of De Queen; eight sons, Justo Camarillo, Victor Hugo Camarillo, Miguel Angel Camarillo, Ruben Dario Camarillo and Marco Antonio Camarillo, all of De Queen, Alejandro “Alex” Camarillo of Atlanta, Georgia, Genaro “Gino” Camarillo of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Juan Manuel Camarillo of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; two daughters, Diana Elena Camarillo of Little Rock, Arkansas and Violeta Camarillo of Conway, Arkansas; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one brother, Juan Camarillo of Mexico; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the Monsignor Scott Friend Pastoral Center of St. Barbara Catholic Church with Father Ramses Mendieta officiating. Burial will follow at Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to midnight, tonight, May 25th, at the Pastoral Center with Rosary will beginning at 7:00 P.M.
Due to current health concerns, the use of a mask will be required during Rosary and Mass. Please refrain from touching or hugging one another and keep a comfortable distance of six (6) foot from one another while at the church and cemetery.
Mr. Victor Smith, Sr.
Mr. Victor James Smith, Sr., age 86, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, May 24, 2020 in Ashdown, Arkansas.
He was born July 2, 1933, the youngest of two daughters and two sons, to Earl Grady and Erma Louise DeKetelaere Smith in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He was a graduate of New Haven High School in New Haven, Michigan and worked as a supervisor for General Motors and Douglas Aircraft, retiring from Weyerhaeuser with more than 20 years of service. He married the love of his life, Betty Joyce Pence, on June 13, 1955 in Royal, Indiana. To this union, two sons and one daughter were born. Victor attended the Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling, and volunteering with the local AARP chapter, serving as President. He was also a former member of a VFW Post in Michigan. More than anything, he cherished the time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of over 55 years, Betty Joyce Smith.
Victor leaves to cherish his memory, two sons and daughters-in-law, Vic and Paula Smith of De Queen and Rob and Tommi Smith, also of De Queen; one daughter and son-in-law, Venee and Terry Hetrick of Arroyo Grande, California; six grandchildren, Brentley Smith, Eric Smith and wife Brandi, Kaytlon Everitt and husband Bradley, Victor Hetrick and wife Tiffani, William Hetrick and wife Shonna, and Beth Wishard and husband Greg; six great-grandchildren, Madison Bagley, Codi Carroll, McKayla Clark, Roger Hetrick, Ryan Hetrick and Shiloh Smith; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Memorial Services will be announced at a later time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
