Baby Miguel Angel Martinez
Baby Miguel Angel Martinez was silently born into this world during the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana.
Baby Miguel leaves to cherish his everlasting memory, his parents, Manuel Martinez and Beatriz Sanchez of De Queen; siblings, Henry, Christian, Edgar and Emily Martinez, all of De Queen; maternal grandparents, Nicolas Sanchez and Juana Valenzuela; paternal grandparents, Jose A. Martinez and Manuela Dominguez; as well as, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the St. Barbara Catholic Church in De Queen with Father Ramses Mendieta officiating. Burial will follow in Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
Mrs. Morinda Wright Phillips
Mrs. Morinda Wright Phillips, age 95, a resident of Longview, Texas died Thursday, November 21, 2019.
She was born March 4, 1924, in De Queen, Arkansas to L.B. and Effie Williams Wright. She served the Lord faithfully for over 84 years and will be in our hearts forever.
Left to cherish her memory are three children; Lloyd Phillips, Jr., Beverly Spears, and Larry Phillips; seven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Louise Wells; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Morinda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lloyd Phillips, Sr., in 2013.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Phillips will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019, at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Larry Phillips officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
Doris Billings
Doris A. Billings, age 88, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at her home.
She was born March 25, 1931, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. She was retired from the Dierks Sr. Citizens Center and a member of the Holly Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Billings enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and the Chicago Cubs.
Mrs. Billings was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Addie Chase; two brothers; five sisters; her husband, Frank Billings; and her son, Mark Billings.
She is survived by her children, Steve Billings, Gloria Tipton (Dennis), the late Mark Billings (Terry), and daughter-in-law, Linda Billings; her grandchildren, Monica Oglesby (Billy), Amanda Valdez (Shane), Michele Crenshaw (Clinton), and Tabitha Richards; her great grandchildren, Caitlen Oglesby, Kai Oglesby, Samantha Valdez, Sakina Amin, Joe Kelley, Austin Richards, Lexi Richards, and Knoxley Richards; and one great-great grandchild, Azaan Amin.
Funeral services for Mrs. Billings will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at the Holly Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Doyle Clifton and Bro. Clyde Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Dierks Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks.
Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., before the service at the church.
Edith Eileen Womack
Mrs. Edith Eileen Wildey Womack, age 95, resident of De Queen, passed from this life on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Dierks Health and Rehab.
She was born to Calvin Leo and Edna Izuria Beekman Wildey on August 20, 1924 in Supulpa, Oklahoma. She attened school at King and Gillham and received her LPN license from Cossatot Vo-Tech in Nashville. She married the love of her life, Carl Womack, Sr. on November 15, 1941 in De Queen. She worked at the Dickinson Hospital in De Queen, De Queen General Hospital and at Ridgeview Nursing Home in De Queen. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in De Queen and enjoyed fishing, reading and cooking, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Carl F. Womack, Sr.; one son, Carl F. Womack, Jr.; two grandsons, Don M. King and Carl L. Peterson; three brothers, Melvin, Bill and Glen Wildey; and two sisters, Oletha Wildey and Violet Womack.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Barbara Vickery of De Queen; four grandchildren, Michael Wommack of Houston, Trey Wommack of De Queen, Carla Cox and her husband Travis of De Queen and Allan Peterson and his wife Marsha of De Queen; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Jaydon, Cody, Kendall, Keshia, Lacey and Alex; five great-grandchildren, Dayne, Summer, Pressley, Shawnix and Blaine; as well as, nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 27, 2019 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Avon Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Brenda Kay Fulcher Krantz
Brenda Kay Fulcher Krantz, age 62, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas died Friday, November 22, 2019 at her home.
She was born January 22, 1957 in Huntington, Indiana to Fred and Juanita Lewis Fulcher Koontz. She was a custodian for Dierks Public Schools and a member of the Dierks Assembly of God.
Mrs. Krantz was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Krantz; three daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Nathan Burk of Newhope, Arkansas, Nicole and Brad Evans of Nashville, Arkansas and Jessica and Gary Hardin of Hope, Arkansas; five sisters, Shirley Garney of Nashville, Sandy Richison Hinton, Freida Feltner and Linda Bustos all of Warren Indiana and Kathy Martin of Huntington, Indiana; six grandchildren, Reagan, Kristen, Brian, Ty, Aiden and Cameron; a number of nieces and nephews and a special Woodrow.
Funeral services for Mrs. Krantz will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Dierks Assembly of God with Kevin Harrington and Kenny Fant officiating. Burial will follow in the Dierks Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks.
Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 24th at the funeral home in Dierks.
Mrs. Leona Frachiseur
Mrs. Leona Smith Frachiseur, age 83, resident of Grannis, passed from this life on Friday, November 22, 2019 at her home surrounded by famliy. Mrs. Leona’s passing comes four days after the loss of her loving husband, Mr. Abe Frachiseur.
She was born to Lee and Hattie Young Smith on January 22, 1936 in Kosciusko, Mississippi. She attended school at Grannis, was a homemaker and a Baptist. Leona enjoyed cooking and she cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 68 years, Abe Frachiseur; one grandson, Jeremy Frachiseur; and two brothers, Lenard and Gene Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memory four sons and daughters-in-law, Orval and Barbara Frachiseur of Grannis, Randy and Linda Frachiseur of De Queen, Mark and Sheila Frachiseur of Grannis, and Gary and Amber Frachiseur of Falls Chapel; twelve grandchildren, Cindi Sawyer (Scott), Amanda Williams (Danny), Brad Frachiseur (Kasey), Kevin Frachiseur (Amanda), Brandon Frachiseur, Stephanie Jenkins, Jared Frachiseur (Montana), Colby Frachiseur, Kaci Helms (Eric), Jamie Vandiver, Dylan Frachiseur and Andrew Frachiseur; one granddaughter-in-law, Katrina Frachiseur; 29 great-grandchildren; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Abe Frachiseur
Mr. Orval Aberham (Abe) Frachiseur, age 87, resident of Grannis, passed from this life on Monday, November 18, 2019 at his home.
He was born to Jim and Donna Susana Maddox Frachiseur on April 29, 1932 in Grannis. He attended school at Holly Grove and graduated from Gillham High School around 1949. He married the love of his life, Leona Smith, on August 11, 1951 in Mena. To this union, four sons were born. Abe proudly served his country with the U.S. Army, worked as a truck driver and was a Baptist. He enjoyed singing, hunting and fishing, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Nath, Johnny, Oscar, Roy, Bob, Math and Jimmie Frachiseur; and one grandson, Jeremy Frachiseur.
