L.C. Richardson
Mr. L.C. Richardson age 76 of Grannis, Arkansas passed away Monday, November 04, 2019 at his home.
He was born on October 03, 1943 in Wickes, Arkansas to the late Lonnie Richardson and the late Bertha Martin Richardson. LC proudly served his country in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing with family and friends. LC loved his dogs and watching old westerns. Most of all he was a working man for his family. LC was a loving and dedicated father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Ola Mae Richardson.
He is survived by two sons; Jerry Richardson and wife Donna of Royse City, Texas; Lonnie Richardson and wife Angie of Grannis, Arkansas; two daughters: Sandra Cooper and husband Tommy of Henderson, Texas; Judy Hicks and husband Tony of Greenwood, Arkansas; two brothers; Jimmy Richardson and wife Loretta of Grannis, Arkansas, Don Richardson and wife Elizabeth of Wickes, Arkansas; His girlfriend: Victoria Autrey; Eight grandchildren: Destiny, Logan, Zack, Audrey, Jared, Kayla, Landrey and Ashlyn and several great and great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Daniel Cemetery in Wickes, Arkansas under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
Visitation will be Wednesday November 6, 2019 at Beasley Wood from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Richardson, Carlton Richardson, Rex Herring, Billy Richardson, John Herring, Logan Hicks, Zack Richardson, Darrel Herring, Jared Richardson, Scott Richardson and Mike Richardson.
Bobby Don Brakeville
Bobby Don Brakeville, age 82, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas died Friday, November 1, 2019 at his home.
He was born June 28, 1937 in De Queen, Arkansas. He was a retired millwright for Weyerhaeuser, a member of the National Guard and a Baptist.
Mr. Brakeville was preceded in death by his parents, Oren Nelson and Vera Louise McCauley Brakeville; his wife, Lonnia Faye Brakeville; a daughter, LaDonna Brakeville; three brothers, Kenneth, Paul and Charles Brakeville; and a sister, Betty Lou Brakeville.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Hile Brakeville of Lockesburg; a son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Jennifer Brakeville of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Lacey Kennedy of Arkadelphia, Arkansas and Colton Brakeville of De Queen; two great-grandchildren, Addison and Liam Kennedy; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral Services for Mr. Brakeville will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2019 at Redmen Cemetery with Rev. Wesley Blankenship officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 3rd at the funeral home.
Dona Kay Morris

“It is with joy and sadness that we announce the passing of Dona Kay Morris.
Mrs. Dona Kay Oakley Morris, age 83, resident of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed from this life on Friday, November 1, 2019 at her home.
Born December 16, 1935 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Roy Raymond and Mary Adaline Lewis Oakley. Dona was a 1953 graduate of the Kingston High School and a 1973 graduate of the Dallas Jr. College. Her history is incredibly rich! From running a projector at a movie theater as a young woman to driving a school bus in Dallas when her children were in school, nothing was too much for her. She became a realtor once her family moved to Lewisville, Texas and stayed with that until moving with her husband Tony to De Queen. She and Tony were married on February 15, 1974 in Lewisville, Texas. After moving to De Queen, she worked for the De Queen Police Department for 23 years. Here she served various roles including that of “Dog Catcher.” She and Tony were members of the De Queen Church of Christ for 37 years. She was a truly remarkable woman who was always very active in the community despite ongoing health issues. She and her husband moved to Nacogdoches, Texas in 2014 to be closer to family and have been members of the Stallings Drive Church of Christ since. Dona enjoyed reading, playing music and woodcarving, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Leu Rae Oakley and Van Roy Oakley.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of over 45 years, Tony Morris of Nacogdoches, Texas; one son, Kevin Ray Russell of Georgetown, Texas; two daughters, Rebecca Ann Williams of Fort Worth, Texas and Jennifer Kay Stallings and her husband James of Timpson, Texas; two step-daughters, Debra Lynn Smith and her husband Wayne of St. Louis, Missouri and Kathleen Gaye Morris of Nashville, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; as well as, other relatives and a host of friends.”
Funeral Services for Mrs. Dona Morris will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 4, 2019 in the De Queen Church of Christ with Toney Stowers, Minister, officiating. Burial will follow in the Redmen Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M., until service time, Monday, at the church.

Roy Dee Ferguson
Roy Dee Ferguson, age 62, of Dierks, Arkansas died Thursday, October 31, 2019, in Texarkana, Texas.
He was born on April 6, 1957, in Lubbock, Texas. He was a rancher and a member of the Cross Point Cowboy Church.
Mr. Ferguson was preceded in death by his father, Billy Dee Ferguson and his grandparents, Jack and Edna Estes and Ray and Fannie Ferguson.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Priest Ferguson; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Will and Mary Ferguson of Wickes, Arkansas and Monty Ferguson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Amanda Ferguson of De Queen, Arkansas, Crystal and Jeremy Starkey of Homer, Louisiana, and Marie and Johnathan Runnels of Dierks; his mother, Valda Jo Estes Ferguson; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Cyndi Ferguson of Garvin, Oklahoma, Johnny and Amy Ferguson of Big Lake, Texas, and Charlie and Morgan Ferguson of Torrington, Wyoming; his grandchildren, Kinsey, Kyla, Kinnah, Kutter, Shandra, Austin, Jaycee, Logan, and Cason; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Ferguson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2019, at the Cross Point Cowboy Church on Highway 278 near Nashville, Arkansas with Bro. Don Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Sunshine Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks.

Timothy Jay Hill
Timothy Jay Hill, age 62, of Sealy, Texas, died Saturday, October 26, 2019, at his home.
He was born on January 11, 1957, in De Queen, Arkansas. He was the owner of R&R Rentals in Plain, Texas and Patterson, Louisiana.
Tim was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Riley Hill; his father, Gordon Cannon; two brothers, William Hill and Gordon Cannon, II; and a nephew, Levi Simmons.
He is survived by his son, Michael Hill of Berwick, Louisiana; his mother, Pat Cannon of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two sisters, Kim Ann Seibert of Texarkana, Arkansas and Kelly Chambers of Hot Springs; one grandson, Michael Anthony Hill of Morgan City, Louisiana; a special cousin, Joyce Caudle of Horatio, Arkansas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Hill will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2019, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nick Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in West Otis Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, November 1st at the funeral home.
Joy Jacqueline Mills Tutt
Joy Jacqueline Mills Tutt, age 80, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Saturday, October 26, 2019.
She was born February 2, 1939, in De Queen, Arkansas. Mrs. Tutt was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed flowers and playing the piano.
Mrs. Tutt was preceded in death by her parents, James and Grace Beaver Mills; her husband, Wilson Fred Tutt; three sisters, Helen Branson, Sara Jo Elliott, and Jimmi Stinnett; one brother, James Mills; one son-in-law, Paul Oliver; and one step-grandson, Darryl Tutt.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Patti and Lynn Chaney of De Queen and Ginger Oliver of Texarkana, Arkansas; one son Terry Tutt of Dallas, Texas; one step-son, David Tutt and his wife Gloria of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Jeremy Oliver and wife Ashley and Lindsey Oliver; two step-grandsons, David and Danny Tutt; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tutt will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2019, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald Trauger officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 p.m., prior to the service.
John Andrew Slaughter
John Andrew Slaughter, age 82, a resident of Cove, Arkansas, died Friday, October 25, 2019 at his home.
He was born August 14, 1937 in Ward County, North Dakota to Jacob Otto and Leone Marie Wherley Slaughter. As a child he milked cows on the family farm, he worked in the coal mines, was a truck driver, and the former owner of the Crossroads Café. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cooking.
Mr. Slaughter was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Joyce Dean Slaughter; and two daughters, Leone Mae Slaughter Roberts and Colene Slaughter Oure.
He is survived by his life partner Ruby Patricia Chambers; his children, Raymond Kibler, Laura Ashley, Lynn Tribble, and Tanya Ireland; grandchildren, Aaron Ashley, Lee Ashley, William Roberts, Shasta Howard, Bill Slaughter, Taylor Tribble, and Jerick Ireland; two sisters, Carol Matthews and Mary Grondon; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements by Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen, Arkansas.
