Dr. Patricia Ann Ward Kelly
Dr. Patricia Ann Ward Kelly, age 65, a resident of Sherwood, Arkansas died Monday, September 30, 2019, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She was born May 13, 1954, in Dierks, Arkansas. She was a retired family practitioner. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and her grand dog, Blair.
Dr. Kelly was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Leander “Andy” and Dora Lavelle Worley Ward and one brother, Earnest Ward.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Marsha and Brian Haller of Beebe, Arkansas and Miranda Raines of Sherwood; two grandchildren, Lindsey Haller and fiancé Jared Aschbrenner and Grant Haller; six brothers, Clyde Ward, Thomas Ward, Clifton Ward, Earl Ward all of Dierks, James Ward of Athens, Arkansas, and Charles Ward of Centre, Alabama; two sisters, Louise George of Dardanelle, Arkansas and Linda Kay Hulsey of Peyton Colorado; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Dr. Kelly will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, October the 4th at the funeral home in Dierks.
Cris Mayola Ramsey
Mrs. Cris Mayola Ramsey, age 66, resident of Mineral Springs, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
She was born to Charles Dillihunt and Necie Wright on July 27, 1953 in Lockesburg, Arkansas. She worked for Tyson Foods and was a member of the Bright Star Baptist Church in Schaal. She enjoyed the Casino, going to church and baking, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, whom she has loved for over 48 years, Charles Ramsey of Mineral Springs; two sons, Cory Wright of Grady, Arkansas and Casey Ramsey of Mineral Springs; one daughter, Catrina Slater and her husband Deshun of Bryant, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Corderrell Wright, Casalyn Ramsey and Desmond Slater; three sisters, Mary Turner and her husband Ellison, Ernestine Green and husband Jessie and Christine Tarr and her husband Lavon; nieces and nephew, Allison and her husband Michael, Rachel, Richard and his wife Anna, Ariel and Kristi and her husband Delanza; one aunt, Fannie Lee Richardson of Lockesburg; brothers-in-law, Larry Ramsey and his wife Patricia and Chester Cash and his wife May; sisters-in-law, Addy Ramsey, Margaret Ann Reed, Eva Jo Osby, Dorothy Dixon and her husband Lawrence and Ruby Taylor and her husband Bernie; as well as, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Cris Ramsey will be held at 11:00 A.M., October 5, 2019 in the Bright Star Baptist Church in Schaal with Rev. Elroy Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Field Cemetery in Lockesburg, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M., until service time, at the church.
Mrs. Patsy Wolcott
Mrs. Patsy Ann Griffin Wolcott, age 90, resident of De Queen, passed from this life on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at her home.
Mrs. Pat was born to Henry Newell and Clara Wright Spencer Griffin on March 16, 1929 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She married the love of her life, Roy Jerome Wolcott, Jr., on November 13, 1944 in Shreveport. She worked for Rubber Corp. of Arkansas, Baldwin’s in De Queen and as a custodian for the De Queen Elementary School for 16 years. She was a member of the Beacon Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church and served as the Community Service Director for several years. She and her husband, Roy, were co-founders of the Banana Belt Cruiser Motorcycle Club in Ellensburg, Washington. She enjoyed watching her dogs, decorating her yard, teaching children to play baseball and riding motorcycles, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 57 years, Roy Wolcott; one daughter, Betty Gail Wolcott; and two sisters, Betty Jean Winton and Catherine Newell Montgomery.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Jerome Wolcott, Steven Odis Wolcott and his wife Carla, all of De Queen; one daughter, Linda Ann Wolcott Williamson of De Queen; eight grandchildren, Kelly Ann Tallman, Tina Gayle Williamson Emmert, Alicia Rayne Wolcott, Joseph Jerome Wolcott, Christopher Eric Wolcott, Steven Shea Wolcott, Scarlett Leigh Wolcott-Barth and Kaleena Amber Wages; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Patsy Wolcott will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 3, 2019 in the Beacon Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Daniel Kaffenburer officiating. Burial will follow in the Beacon Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 2nd, at the funeral home.
Mr. Dale B. Gore
Mr. Dale Boyd Gore, age 62, resident of Horatio, passed from this life on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at his home.
He was the fifth of eight children born to Marshall Thurman and Mildred L. Davis Gore on November 12, 1956 in De Queen. He was a Farmer and worked for the Sevier County Road Department. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing and gardening, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by two daughters, Dr. Hope Michelle Gore Taylor and her husband David of Madisonville, Louisiana and Heather Mae Gore Farley of Longview, Texas; two grandchildren, Noah S. Taylor and Sophia R. Taylor; his girlfriend, Tonya McKinley of Horatio; two brothers, Alan Gore and his wife Laynette of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Ben Gore and his wife Susie of Horatio; five sisters, Marsha West and her husband Larry of Fayetteville, Anna Johnston and her husband John of De Queen, Rita Angeles also of De Queen, Wanda Lanier of Fayetteville and Bonnie Gore of Horatio; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Dale B. Gore will be held at 5:00 P.M., Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the Chapel Hill Cemetery with Bro. Travis Langley officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
Gene Clifford Beutelschies
Gene Clifford Beutelschies age 77, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Saturday September 28, 2019, in Texarkana, Texas.
Mr. Beutelschies was born November 3, 1941, in De Queen. He was a retired electrician of Alcoa Mill Products, rancher, and avid outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Henry and Gwendolyn Bigham Beutelschies.
Mr. Beutelschies is survived by his wife, Jerolyn Beutelschies; one son and daughter-in-law, Clint Beutelschies and Sarah of Salem, Oregon; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Andy Flood of Maud, Texas and Christa and Cliff Mann of De Queen; one brother, Carl Edward Beutelschies of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Garret and Hunter Flood, Madison Beutelschies, Tanner and Ryan Foster; six great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mr. Beutelschies will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday October 3, 2019, at Redmen Cemetery with Bro. Steve Minter officiating under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday October 2nd at the funeral home.
James Williams Chandler
James William Chandler of Horatio AR died Friday, September 27, 2019, at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, AR. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Chandler and will be buried at Clear Creek Cemetery in Horatio with military rites. Also known as “Red” and “JW,” Mr. Chandler is preceded in death by his sister Margie Boyd and his brother Dilbert Whisenhunt, along with three sons James Jr., Jerry, and Mike.
James is survived by his daughter: Cheryl Gee (husband Robert) of Jacksonville, TX., step-children Karen Bailey of Fayetteville, Patrice Klitz of Lake Ouachita, Keri Klitz of Lowell, and Tommy Klitz (wife Faith) of Horatio.
Among his loving family members and perhaps those who may miss him the most are his adored 8 grandkids and 6 great-grandchildren.
James W. Chandler is remembered as a decorated serviceman commended with honors and purple heart status from active military duty in the Korean War. His career in the oil industry fueled his love for seeing the world. James loved sharing stories and large tales of his extensive global travel and excursions.
Services will be held at Williamson Community Church officiated by Brother Jimmy Roden on Tuesday October 1, 2019 at 10 a.m. Pallbearers: Alex Klitz, Zak Klitz, Dalton Tollett, Rhett Strang, Montana Strang, and BJ Brooks. Open viewing will be at Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday September 30, 2019.
Mrs. Colleen Dinger
Mrs. Colleen Maye Cole Dinger, age 74, resident of Mount Ida, Arkansas and former resident of De Queen, passed from this life on Monday, September 23, 2019 in Mount Ida.
Colleen was born to Russell Ray and Bernice Jane Jackson Cole on January 4, 1945 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, Lawrence Lee Dinger, on June 30, 1961 in Bartlesville. She was a longtime member of the Solid Rock Full Gospel Church and was a homemaker. She was a devout Christian. She was a Sunday School teacher at the Chapel Hill Baptist Church and was a member of the Solid Rock Full Gospel Choir. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, serving the Lord and playing practical jokes. To know Colleen was to love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 39 years, Lawrence Dinger; one sister, Margret Keller; and a nephew, Rusty Topping.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Donnie Lee Dinger of Mount Ida, Larry Alan Dinger of Alleene, and Eugene Wayne Dinger and his wife Lori of Mount Ida; ten grandchildren, Brandon Dinger and his wife Shalamar, Sabrina Dinger, Kendra Stevens and her husband Freddie, Hunter Dinger, Tanner Dinger, Triston Mays, John Beck, Brad Harrison, Leslie Harrison and Tietjan Skidmore; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives a host of friends.

Burial will follow in the Sweet Home Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from Noon until service time, Saturday, at the funeral home.
