Mr. Ray Richardson
Mr. Ray Lynn Richardson, age 63, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died Saturday, June 22, 2019 in Horatio.

He was born to George Andrew and Ruth Nora Dugan Richardson on May 21, 1956, in Spur, Texas. He was a retired employee of Pilgrim’s Pride, where he worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for over 38 years. He was of the Baptist faith and attended the Williamson Community Church in Horatio. He enjoyed fishing and camping, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Chelsea Ann Richardson; two brothers, George Richarson, Jr. and his twin, Roy Richardson; and one sister, Melinda Litchford.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Jane Ann Richardson of Horatio; four sons, Robert Richardson and his wife Kristy of Horatio, Jason Richardson and his wife Linda of Taylor, Arkansas, Josh Callahan and Dustin Richardson, both of Horatio; seven grandchildren, Lexy and Kimberly Richardson of Horatio, Amy, Haylie and Mason Richardson, all of Taylor, Arkansas, Lillian Callahan and Rayden Richardson, both of Horatio; one brother, Bruce Richardson and his wife Jennifer of Horatio; one sister, Yvonne Evans and her husband Allen, also of Horatio; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside Services for Mr. Ray Richardson will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in the Horatio Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Roden officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, June 24th, at the funeral home.

Christopher DeWayne Story
Christopher DeWayne Story, infant son of Tiffany Becerra and Dustin Story of De Queen, Arkansas died Sunday, June 16, 2019, in Mena, Arkansas.

He is survived by his parents; his grandparents, Nati and Cindy Becerra and Tina Bailey and Kevin Bailey all of De Queen; two aunts, Ashley Platt and Latosha Story; two uncles, Austin Irons and Corey Coulter; and a number of great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside funeral services for Christopher will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019, in Chapel Hill Cemetery with Nati Becerra pastor of Mt. Pleasant Church in De Queen officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen, Arkansas.

Billy Wayne Dossey
Mr. Billy Wayne Dossey, age 86, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas passed Sunday, June 16, 2019.

He was born January 26, 1933, in Shinewell, Oklahoma. He was a mechanic and an avid fisherman, hunter, and a member of Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. Billy was the fourth son of Ruth and Kelsey Dossey.

Mr. Dossey was preceded in death his wife, Gladys Lavern Manasco Dossey; his parents, Kelsey and Ruth Dossey; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Carylin Dossey; a daughter, Sherry Laverne Dossey; and a grandson, Blakely Dossey.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Kenneth Talley of De Queen; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Lori Dossey of Mena, Arkansas and Bentley and Shelia Dossey of Pierce City, Missouri; one brother, Kenneth Dossey of Lodi, California; two sisters, Jackie Davis of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Helen Briscoe of Broken Bow; 9 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Dossey will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2019, in the Manasco Cemetery with Chad Gallagher officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen, Arkansas.

Darrel Lane Glover
Darrel Lane Glover, age 67, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas died Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at his home.

He was born May 13, 1952, in Mena, Arkansas. Darrel loved crystal and arrowhead hunting, making arrowheads, metal detecting, and coin collecting. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved his dog, Peppy.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Glover.

He is survived by his parents, Steven J. and Nelda Oakley Glover of Lockesburg; three brothers, Donald Glover of Austin, Texas, James Glover of Dickson, Tennessee, and Steven Glover of Texarkana, Arkansas; three sisters, Brenda Nunn of Texarkana, Texas, Patricia Miller, and Karen Bullard both of Lockesburg; two step-daughters, Jessica and Jennifer; a special nephew, Dakota Glover; and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews

Funeral services for Mr. Glover will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2019, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Redmen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00, Friday, June 14th at the funeral home.

Dennis Michael Sanders
Dennis Michael Sanders, age 67, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Saturday, June 8, 2019, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born January 1, 1952, in De Queen. He was a Methodist and enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his father, Harlow Sanders and a sister, Vicky Rhea Story.

He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Phillips Flournoy; a daughter, Harmony Sanders of Anchorage, Alaska; and four grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Sanders will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2019, in Chapel Hill Cemetery with Steve Chenoweth officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Amy Jane Crunk McWhorter
Mrs. Amy Jane Crunk McWhorter, age 101, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, died Thursday, June 6, 2019, in Texarkana, Texas.

She was born June 11, 1917, in Sevier County, Arkansas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lockesburg and a homemaker.

Mrs. McWhorter was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Nora Crunk; her husband, William Aaron “Bill” McWhorter; two sons, Bobby McWhorter and Jerry McWhorter; a grandson, B.J. McWhorter; a great grandson, Austin Brackett.

She is survived by one daughter, Diana Shaw of Nash, Texas; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Billy and Wanda McWhorter, Jim and Jane McWhorter, and Sandra McWhorter all of Lockesburg; one sister, Ida Mae Nutt of Carthage, Arkansas; a special niece, Leaetta Payne; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. McWhorter will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2019, in Old Union Cemetery with Terell Polite officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 7th at the funeral home.

Sharon Kay McElhannon Reed
Mrs. Sharon Kay McElhannon Reed, age 71, a resident of Collierville, Tennessee, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at her home.

She was born June 25, 1947, in Foreman, Arkansas. She was a member of the Church of Christ and an accountant.

Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Avie Helen Wright McElhannon; two sisters, Frances Helen Beasley and Orbalene McElhannon; and one brother, Tillman McElhannon.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Reed of Collierville, Tennessee; two sons, Kyle Reed also of Collierville and Kevin Reed of Germantown, Tennessee; one brother, Ottis Boyd McElhannon of Foreman; six grandchildren, Mallorie Hand, Madisen Hand Andrade, Brooke Reed, Molly Reed, Ella Reed, and Lily Cate Reed; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Reed will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2019, in the Foreman Church of Christ with Jim Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravelly Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

The family will receive friends from noon until service time at the church.
