Wanda Faye Coburn Wilson
Wanda Faye Coburn Wilson of De Queen, Arkansas died Friday, March 15, 2019, at Christus St. Michael’s in Texarkana, Texas.

She was born March 11, 1940 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas to Jack and Mary Coburn. She was the former owner of Wilson Real Estate, loved to walk and was a member of the First Baptist Church in De Queen.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy E. Wilson; one grandson, Aaron Lee Garza and sister, Lily Mae Sherwood.

She is survived by her son, Roger L. Wilson of Ringgold, Georgia and daughter, Lyn Pettit of De Queen; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many friends.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2019, in Redmen Cemetery with Rev.
Josh Herweck officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Millie Grace Teal
Millee Grace Teal, infant daughter of Chad and Paula Lincoln Teal, died Friday, March 15, 2019, at Christus St. Michael in Texarkana.

She was born on Friday, March 15, 2019.

Millee is survived by her parents, Chad and Paula Teal of Haworth, OK; two brothers, Hunter Bryant of Haworth and Lukus Swafford of Bossier City, Louisiana; her grandparents, Bob and Sharon Lincoln of Haworth, Lynda Swafford of Ringgold, LA and Henry and Pam Teal of Ponce de Leon, Florida; her uncle and aunt, Jason and Michelle Lincoln of Haworth and a number of cousins and special great uncles and aunts.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2019, in Redmen Cemetery with Bro. Audie Dawson officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Mrs. Betty Baber
Mrs. Betty Jo Baber, age 72, a resident of De Queen, passed from this life on Friday, March 15, 2019 in Texarkana, Texas.

She was born Elizabeth Jo Scott to the late Richard Augustine and Mildred Scott on September 30, 1946 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was a graduate of the Pine Bluff High School and received her Bachelor of Education from Arkansas State University. She married the love of her life, Jerry Lee Baber, on February 6, 1971 in Pine Bluff. She taught elementary school for the White Hall, Pine Bluff and Lakeside School Districts. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in De Queen and was instrumental in the development of the First Baptist Church WEE Center. She enjoyed helping others and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of over 48 years, Jerry Baber of De Queen; one daughter, Leah Osburn of De Queen; three grandchildren, Steven Baber and Tiffany Wigley, both of De Queen, and Angelica Osburn Williams and husband Zach of California; one great-grandson, Maxton Baber of De Queen; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 18, 2019 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Josh Herweck officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery, Umpire, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time, Monday, at the funeral home.

Belenda Kay Boatman Milam
Belenda Kay Boatman Milam from Winthrop, Arkansas died at her home Friday, March 15, 2019, with family and friends by her side.

She was born March 4, 1954, to Willie Mae Gilbert Byers and Omer Gene Boatman. Mama Kay was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, Nana, and a loving friend to many. She was a homemaker, a member of the Little River Community Church, and retired from the Foreman school district.

Mrs. Milam was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Milam, Sr.; her mother and father; and sister, Sandra Elrod.

She is survived by her four children, Sarah (Tim) Mitchell of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, Carmen (Cody) Dunn of Foreman, Arkansas, Elaine (Earl) Johnson of Winthrop, and Charles “Bubba” Milam of Winthrop; one brother, Larry Boatman of Kansas; and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and family.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Milam will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2019, in Pauley Cemetery with Wade White officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday the 17th at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Little River Community Church, 2601 Hwy 41 N., Winthrop, Arkansas 71866.

Bro. Jack Donald Isham
Bro. Jack Donald Isham, age 90, resident of Dierks, Arkansas, died Monday, March 11, 2019 in Dierks, Arkansas.

He was born to Charles Ezra and Jessie Lucretia Middleton Isham in Duncan, Oklahoma on April 28, 1928. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Army. He was an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Church of God with 50 years service. He was also retired from Howard County as a heavy equipment operator. He married the love of his life, Allie Emogene Rose Isham in Yell County, Arkansas on June 11, 1944, and she preceded him in death in January of 2018.

Besides his wife of over 74 years, he is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Sanford Isham and Charles Isham, three sisters, Maxine Williams, Kay Ammons, and Betty Jo Isham, a son-in-law, Richard Winslow, and two grandchildren, Roger Sharp and Destiny Winslow.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Don and Barbara Isham of Waldron, Arkansas, and Joseph David and Joan Isham of Dierks, four daughters and two sons-in-law, Carolyn Jean and Junior Allen of Dierks, Tyjunah Winslow of Rolling Fork, Mississippi, Jessie Ann and David White of Dierks and Jackie Lyons of Lockesburg; thirteen grandchildren, Dewayne Allen, Donny Allen, Michael Allen, Bruce Isham, Jennifer Galinato, Mark Isham, Keturah Blackburn, Ricky Winslow, Gene Clevenger, Tiffany Smith, Jonathan Isham, Zeke Pennington, and Katelyn Proffit, 33 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, James Isham, Floyd and Fran Isham all of Waldron, Arkansas, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Emogene and Henry Stanley, and Paula Sue Lacroix all of Waldron, Arkansas.

Funeral Services for Bro. Jack Isham will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 15th in the Umpire Holiness Church, Umpire, Arkansas with Bro. Steve Green and Bro. Don Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery, Dierks, Arkansas, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Chandler Funeral Home.

Clifford Raymond Swindler
Mr. Clifford Raymond Swindler, age 83, a resident of Mena, Arkansas, formerly of Gillham, Arkansas died Sunday, March 10, 2019 in Mena Manor Nursing Home.

He was born August 27, 1935 in Dierks, Arkansas. He was a former owner of an upholstery shop.

Mr. Swindler was preceded in death by his parents, Richard “Bud” and Nora Ellen Boone Swindler; two sons, Danny Ray and Ricky Thomas Swindler; two daughters, Lisa Swindler and Christine Lee and two grandsons, Ricky Don Grisby and Raymond Rightmire.

He is survived by six grandsons, Clifford and Nicky Swindler, Ricky Joe Wallace, Daniel and Richard Stover and Robert Rightmire and two granddaughters, Brandi Pelkie and Tori Fluke.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Swindler will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Overturf Cemetery in Gillham, Arkansas with Mark Lyles officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Mrs. Olivia Watson
Ms. Olivia McFalls Watson, age 64, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, entered eternal rest early Saturday morning, March 9, 2019, in Kansas City.

She was born to Theodore R. and Wyola Simpson McFalls on January 21, 1955 at their home in the Oak Grove Community of Sevier County, Arkansas. She was a 1971 graduate of the Lockesburg High School, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in business from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in 1975 and later, her Master’s Degree in Accounting from the Avila University in Kansas City. She was member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. At a young age, she joined the New Zion Baptist Church in the Oak Grove Community and became a member of the St. James United Methodist Church after she moved to Kansas City. Olivia has lived at many places in her life, including Saudi Arabia, but she humbly called Kansas City home. While she worked various careers during her life, she spent the last 12 years working for the Internal Revenue Service, Agriculture Division. She enjoyed watching movies at home and solving crossword puzzles, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Bonnie S. Barnett; and a brother, Billie C. McFalls, who was killed during the Vietnam War.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Cara Thompson, Christyn Watson and Carmen Watson; two beautiful grandchildren, Najah Thompson and (little) DJ Thompson, both of whom affectionately called her “Boo Boo”. She is also survived by one sister, Carolyn McFalls Reynolds and husband Benjamin; two brothers, Oliver B. McFalls and wife Funzia and Steve D. McFalls and wife Louise; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral Services were held in Kansas City on Thursday.

A public visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Saturday, March 16, 2019 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services will follow at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, in the Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
