Mrs. Cindy Stubbs
Mrs. Cynthia "Cindy" Dean Allen Stubbs, age 60, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Bear Creek Healthcare in De Queen.
She was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on December 18, 1956, to Walter Julian and Nellie Dean Dill Allen. She worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant and enjoyed reading, writing, knitting, and time spent with her dogs, but most of all the time spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Sonya Turner.
She is survived by her husband of over 26 years, Leroy Merl Stubbs, Jr. of De Queen; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Tyler Frachiseur of De Queen, and Amy and Charles Lingerfelt of Pittsburg, Kansas; four grandchildren, Alec, Zae-Lei, and Asher Frachiseur and Noah Lingerfelt of Pittsburg, Kansas. She is also survived by other family members and a host of friends.
Cremation arrangements for Mrs. Cindy Stubbs, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. Services will be at a later date.
Fred Edward Wolcott
Mr. Fred Edward Wolcott, age 87, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Friday, June 16, 2017, in De Queen.
He was born June 25, 1929, in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was a carpenter and a member of the Beacon Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Mr. Wolcott was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Jerome Wolcott, Sr. and Velma Claire Franks Wolcott; and three brothers, Roy Wolcott, Charlie Wolcott and George Wolcott.
He is survived by his wife, Mae Evelyn Burrow Wolcott of De Queen; two sons, Dennis Wolcott of Salt Lake City, Utah and Steve Stewart of De Queen; three daughters, Brenda Lovell of De Queen, Glenda Icenhower of Dierks, Arkansas and Deborah Smith of De Queen; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Wolcott will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2017, in the Beacon Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church with Newman Hance officiating. Burial will follow in the Beacon Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Leslie Lee Walker
Mr. Leslie Lee Walker, age 37, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, died Friday, June 16, 2017, at his home in Lockesburg, Arkansas.
He was born June 5, 1980, in De Queen, Arkansas. He was a truck driver.
Mr. Walker was preceded in death by a son, Colton Jeffrey Walker and a daughter, Nevah Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Tonia Walker; his three sons, Peyton Lee, Taylor Lane Walker, and Dakota Lee Walker; his father Lester Walker; his mother Leesa Taylor Walker Kemp; a grandmother, Inez Taylor; a sister, Amanda Westbrook; a brother, Jeremy Walker; a niece, Ashley Parrish; a nephew, Brandon Crow; and several aunts and uncles.

Gloria Lee Dougharty Hadley
Mrs. Gloria Lee Dougharty Hadley, age 84, a resident of Eagletown, Oklahoma, died Thursday, June 15, 2017, in Texarkana, Texas.
She was born February 12, 1933, in Hood River, Oregon. She was a retired X-ray technician, a member of the First Methodist Church in Eagletown and a member of the Cossatot Arts and Crafts Association. Mrs. Hadley enjoyed painting and gardening.
Mrs. Hadley was preceded in death by her parents, George Marvin and Carrie Marie Woody Dougharty; her husband, Don Hadley.
She is survived by one son, Tracy Hadley of Eagletown, Oklahoma; one grandson and wife, Jaryd and Traci Lyon of Lockesburg, Arkansas, one granddaughter, Gracy Hadley; three great-grandchildren, Cason, Luke, and Hayli Lyon; one sister-in-law, Pat Cannon; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral service for Mrs. Hadley will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2017, in the Eagletown Cemetery Pavilion with Cy Davis officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 18th at the funeral home.
Michael Wayne Ray
Mr. Michael Wayne Ray, age 64, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Thursday, June 15, 2017, in Texarkana, Texas.
He was born June 10, 1953, in De Queen, Arkansas. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Colorado.
Mr. Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jane Waits Ray.
He is survived by one son, Michael Wayne Ray, Jr. of De Queen; three daughters, Lynn Michelle Ray, Amy Nicole Pfeiffer, and Sebrina Marie Ferrer all of Colorado; his father, Jerry Wayne Ray of De Queen; one sister, Molly Grant of Colorado, three brothers, Patrick Felton Ray of Brighton, Colorado, Timothy Lee Ray of Silt, Colorado, and Mark Wesley Ray of De Queen; and eight grandchildren, Daniel Steven Pfeiffer, Katelynn Irons, Amanda Nichole Pfeiffer, Victoria Ingino, Kaleb Tomlinson, Raven Ferrer, Aspen Ray, and Jacob Tomlinson.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Ray will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017, in Clear Creek Cemetery with John Gutierres officiating under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
Billy Bob Blackwood
Mr. Billy Bob Blackwood, age 80, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at his home.
He was born November 7, 1936, in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. He served in the De Queen School System for 55 years and as Superintendent for 30 years. He was also a member of the De Queen Lions Club and First United Methodist Church in De Queen and served on numerous boards. He was recognized as a pillar of the community and affected numerous lives throughout his many years of dedicated service.
Mr. Blackwood was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Clarence and Myrtle Lee Stueart Blackwood and his wife, Betty Smith Blackwood.
He is survived by one daughter, Julie Lowrey; one son, Bryan Blackwood and two grandsons, Blake Lowrey and Alec Lowrey all of De Queen.
Funeral services for Mr. Blackwood will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church in De Queen with Rev. Mark Cloninger officiating. Burial will follow in Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 16th at the First United Methodist Church.

Reuben E. Lee Cravens
Reuben E. Lee “Butch” Cravens, age 67, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at his home.
He was born December 25, 1949, in De Queen to Henry and Thelma Jean Lee Cravens. He was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Glenda Lee of De Queen; one sister and brother-in-law, Sherrie Lynn and Patrick Grant of De Queen; three aunts, Irene Daniels, Geraldine Desmond and Jane McCoy; four nephews, Jeffery Hendrix, Kendall Hendrix, Damontre Grant and Caleb Grant; a special cousin, Kayla Morris; a special friend, Jack “Little Butch” French; and a number of cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Cravens will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017, in the New Zion Baptist Church in De Queen with Jamie Erby and Carl Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
