Mr. Raymond P. Gallaher
Mr. Raymond P. Gallaher, Jr., age 83, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at De Queen Medical Center.
He was born on April 11, 1934 in Lockesburg, Arkansas. He was retired from the United States Navy and a former employee of Weyerhaeuser, and Nekoosa-Edwards.
Mr. Gallaher was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Park, Sr. and Mabel Modena Elkins Gallaher; three brothers-in-law, Paul Griffin, Jack Farris and Tommy Collier, one grandson, Arthur Raymond Nation III, one granddaughter, Tara Lee Gallaher, and two nephews, Chad Farris and Steve Farris
He is survived by his wife Stella Gallaher of Lockesburg; two sons and daughters-in-law; Mike and Glenda Gallaher of Richmond, Texas and Eddy and Donna Gallaher of Lockesburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Mark Spears of Nashville, Arkansas; two sisters and a brother-in law, Anna Lou Farris of Massachusetts and Peggy Jo and Clyde Ray Briggs of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Gallaher will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Lockesburg with Dr. David Blase officiating. Burial will follow in the Lockesburg Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 1:00- 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 11th at the church.
Gwendolyn Wallis McClung
Mrs. Gwendolyn Wallis McClung, age 70, a resident of Grannis, Arkansas died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at her home.
She was born September, 27 1946 in Houston, Texas to Milton and Lois Wallis. She was and homemaker, a former USDA inspector, and attended Wickes First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James Wesley and Angela Eubanks of Ore City, Texas and Richard Wallis and Terri Eubanks of Harleton, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Shawn Pollard of De Queen, Arkansas; a life partner, Justin Charlton of Grannis; one brother, Michael Cross of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren, Nachelle Henson, Aaron Wesley Eubanks, Alexis Breann Eubanks, Chasey Eubanks, Zackary Eubanks, Katie Flood, Kerrigan Pollard, and Kyle Eubanks; a number of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and special friends Bear Roan and Nancy Ward.
Funeral services for Mrs. McClung will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Wickes First Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Daniel Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00, Sunday June 11th at the funeral home.
Mrs. Carolyn McKinney
Mrs. Carolyn Love Rowe McKinney, age 70, a resident of Umpire, Arkansas, and former resident of De Queen, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at her home.
She was born in San Saba, Texas, on October 10, 1946, to Leland Paul Sr., and Lillian Pauline Roper Rowe. She was a retired school teacher, having taught in De Queen and Foreman, as well as a homemaker. She attended the Mt. View Baptist Church, and enjoyed Sci-fi books, jewelry, collecting, and loved animals, especially her dog Molly, and her barrel racing horse, Zero Diamond. She was an avid reader, but most of all she cherished the time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Leland Rowe, Jr., a son, Kevin McKinney, and her very significant other, Garel “Mac” McKiever.
She is survived by a son, Brian McKinney and his spouse, Douglas of Nashville, Tennessee, a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Randall “Bo” Pugh of Dierks, a sister, Susan Meisner of Suisun, California, six grandchildren, Cameron Pugh, Aspen Pugh, Presley Pugh, Marissa DeCoopman, Nick DeCoopman, and Aidan DeCoopman, a great-granddaughter, Leila DeCoopman, and a great-grandchild soon to be born, Ava, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Carolyn McKinney will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, June 7, 2017, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brian Pounds officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Charles Dorron Emmerich
Mr. Charles Dorron Emmerich, age 86, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died Saturday, June 3, 2017 in The Villages, Florida.
He was born to Benjamin Franklin and Clara Lucille Brown Emmerich in Evening Shade, Arkansas, on January 3, 1931. He was a rancher and a mechanic, and attended the First Assembly of God in Horatio. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outside.
Most of all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sharon Paulette Emmerich, a son, Chuck Emmerich, and a grandchild.
He is survived by his wife of over 67 years, Ollie Cornish Emmerich of Horatio, a daughter and son-in-law, Charolette and Rick Angle of The Villages, Florida, a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Emmerich of Horatio, one brother, C. Dorris Emmerich of Phoenix City, Alabama, two sisters, Madielee Collins of St. Louis, Missouri, and Emma Derryberry of Lonoke, Arkansas, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Emmerich will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 10th, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ed Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Center Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10th, until service time.
Kotmen Langidrik
Mr. Kotmen Langidrik, age 66, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was born October 15, 1950 in the Marshall Islands. Mr. Langidrik was employed by Pilgrim’s Pride in De Queen, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife Timi Langidirk, and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Langidirk will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday June 8, 2017 in the Faith and Deliverance Center in De Queen, Arkansas. Burial will take place Saturday June 10, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Redmen Cemetery.
Gretchelynn Conatser DeShazo
Mrs. Gretchelynn Conatser DeShazo, age 88, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas died Saturday, June 3, 2017 at her home.
She was born February 5, 1929 in De Queen, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a small business owner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Deward and Julia Sutton Conatser; her husband, Mitchell DeShazo; one grandson, Jacob DeShazo; and one brother, Glen Conatser.
She is survived by one son, Tony DeShazo of Horatio; one sister and brother-in-law, Marla and Dale Sapaugh of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Walter (Kayli) De Shazo and Henry DeShazo; one great grandson, David Jacob DeShazo; one sister- in-law, Wanda (Dale) Kesner; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday June 7th at the funeral home.

Mrs. Aundria Nell Connell Crump, age 73, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas died Friday, June 2, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas.
She was born August 3, 1943 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Connell and Blanch Campbell; her husband, Jackie Lee Crump; a brother, Randall Bailey; and her granddaughter, Meagan Vay Dossett.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Todd Dossett of Minden, Louisiana, Sue and Todd Benedict of Salmon, Idaho, and Trish and Mike Westhuis of Randolph, Wisconsin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Angie Crump of Hot Springs, Arkansas and James and Olivia Crump of Horatio; five sisters, Delois Gentry, Becky Vanhoose and Nancy Duncan, all of De Queen, Arkansas, Sarah Joiner of Idabel, Oklahoma and Angela Morphew of De Queen; three brothers, William Bailey, Claudie Bailey and Ronnie Bailey, all of De Queen; 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Crump will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Jaron Tipton officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
