Mrs. Barbara Cole
Mrs. Barbara Ann Gaines Michaud Cole, age 74, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died Friday, September 9, 2016 in a Texarkana Hospital.
She was born to Homer C. and Bessie Marie Bradshaw Gaines in Hope, Arkansas on October 26, 1941. She was a 1959 graduate of Hope High School, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafting, reading, and cherished the time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her Lord, and was a member of the Kern Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Lisa Michaud of Nashville, Arkansas, a daughter, Karen Denise Michaud of Horatio, Arkansas, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda and Larry Burke of Hope, Arkansas, and Mary Stutler also of Hope, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Jeremy and his wife, Danielle Michaud of De Queen, Jessica Michaud of Little Rock, Arkansas, Lundon Michaud of De Queen, Arkansas, and Lane Michaud of Nashville, Arkansas, five great-grandchildren, Emma Kersey, Raylee Michaud, Kaeden Hammer, Tison Hammer, and Kynder Pressley.
Memorial Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Chandler Funeral Home. Cremation under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
Mr. Jackie Neil Rightmire
Mr. Jackie Neil Rightmire, age 76, a resident of De Queen, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at his home.
He was born September 7, 1940 in De Queen. He was a former employee of Pilgrims Pride.
Mr. Rightmire was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond Sparks and Dora Dalton Rightmire.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Chris and Carrie Rightmire of De Queen and Timothy Rightmire of Lockesburg, Arkansas; three daughters, Melissa Burleson and Ronda Woodey, both of De Queen, and Terri Gillespie of Bolivar, Tennessee; two brothers, Kenneth Rightmire of Klamath Falls, Oregon and Bobby Rightmire of De Queen; two sisters, Frances Bailey and Barbara Rightmire, both of De Queen; one grandson, Jacob Rightmire; and a number of nieces and nephews.
No services are planned.

Mrs. Effie Viola Willis Stafford Morgan
Mrs. Effie Viola Willis Stafford Morgan, age 95, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the home of her daughter.
She was born to William and Willie Calvin Short Willis in Leola, Arkansas, On April 15, 1921. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Horatio, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking, and was an avid reader. She cherished the time spent with family, and loved her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, W. J. Stafford, a daughter, Louise Stafford Austin, a son, Wilburn Stafford, a brother, R. C. Willis, and four sisters, Ruthie McCoy, Juanita Roberts, Mildred Irvan, and Willie Mae Willis.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Dale Caudle of Horatio, eight grandchildren, Marty, Bobbie, Sherry, Sheila, Jason, Tonya, Tara, and Tracie, eighteen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Alice Willis, Billy Fay Willis, and Glynn and Bonnie Willis all of Horatio, two sisters, Susie Willis of Horatio, and LaVerne Willis of Dublin, Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Morgan will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 8th In the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Cy Davis, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in the West Otis Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mittie Jean Chandler Hendricks
Mrs. Mittie Jean Chandler Hendricks, age 79, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died Monday, September 5, 2016 in a Texarkana Hospital.
She was born to Levi and Mattie Lou Ramsey Chandler in the Central Community of Sevier County, Arkansas, on August 25, 1937. She was a member of the Rose Hill Gospel Mission, and a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, canning, cooking, and cherished the time
spent with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Coy Chandler, and Eula Elder, a grandchild, Zackary Caudill, and a great-grandson, Michael Mohler.
She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Sam Hendricks of Horatio, a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Trisha Hendricks of Blythe, California, two daughters and a son-in-law, Donetta and Loyd Jenkins of Wickes, Arkansas, and Jarita Sobak of Texarkana, Texas, three brothers and sister-in-law, Roy Lee Chandler of Abilene, Texas, Arlis and Jackie Chandler of Horatio, Charles E. and Charlotte Chandler of De Queen, four sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Cooper of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Henrietta and Alvie Nix of Horatio, Janette and Leon Durham of Mesquite, Texas, and Patricia and Danny Lipsey of Horatio, nine grandchildren, Ladonna (Robert) Mohler, Alisa (Dan) Vorbau, Venita (Luke) Berry, Randall (Astra) Jenkins, Loren Jenkins, Glendon Jenkins, Mark Jenkins, Phillip Jenkins, and Tiffannie (Matt) Bullington, Ten great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Oscar Edward "Buckshot" Barbre
Oscar Edward “Buckshot” Barbre, age 85, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas, died Friday, September 2, 2016 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
He was born October 12, 1930, in Howard County, Arkansas. Mr. Barber was a Baptist and member of the Barbre Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a big story teller.
Mr. Barbre was preceded in death by his parents, William Oscar and Ollie May Kesterson Barbre; one son, Steven Edward Barbre; one brother, Kenneth Elvis Barbre and two infant brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rosa Lee Blanton Barbre; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon Barbre White of Dierks, Linda and Billy Joe Christopher of Dierks and Rose and Tony Tollett of Prescott, Arkansas; three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Sheila Barbre, David and Marvella Barbre and Billy and Brenda Barbre all of Dierks; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Barbre will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September, 5 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks with J.W. Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 4th at the funeral home in Dierks.

Mrs. Janet Darlene Lindsey, age 67, a resident of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016, in Texarkana, Texas.
She was born September 23, 1948 in Pratt, Kansas. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Vada Cauthron Hoff; one daughter, Angela Knighten and one great-grandson, Elijah Lindsey.
She is survived by her husband, Waylon Lindsey of Texarkana, Arkansas; one son, Larry Melson of Florence, Alabama; two daughters, Cynthia Lindsey of Texarkana, Arkansas and Cherylan Mendenhall of Pratt, Kansas; one brother, Lyle Hoff and one sister, Gwen Culver both of Cullison, Kansas; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Dr. James Frank Daniel
Dr. James Frank Daniel, age 80, a resident of Taylor, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016, in Taylor.
He was born November 19, 1935, in Fountain Hill, Arkansas. He practiced medicine in De Queen from 1962-1997 and served as the sports’ team physician for the De Queen Schools. He was a member of the National Guard and was a Methodist.
Dr. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, James Bryce and Helon Beard Daniel and one brother, Bobby Bryce Daniel. He is survived by his wife, Velna Daniel of Taylor; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Randy Davis of De Queen, and Kim and Doug Tynan of Windsor, Connecticut; one son and daughter-in-law; Doug and Lisa Daniel of Taylor; six grandchildren, Kimmie Williamson and husband Brian, Melody Daniel and husband Lyle, Lindsey Polk and husband P.J., Rebekah Davis, Jamie Tynan and Bryce Tynan and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Dr. Frank Daniel will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Redmen Cemetery with Randy Davis officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
