Edna Lucille Wolf
The Lord took Mom's hand and guided her through Heavens Gates on Thursday Aug. 18, 2016, to join the love of her life, Houston. She was born to Charlie & Effie (Stewart) Johnston on August 22, 1921, in Okolona, Arkansas. On August 21, 1937, a day before her 16th birthday she married Houston H. Wolf, at the Church of Christ officiated by Lewis Wolf, Houston's father. They were married just shy of 72 years when Dad passed away on May 18, 2009. They raised two children Lynn Nave-Rose (1941) and Timothy D. Wolf (1951).
In June of 1941 they left Arkansas and moved to Klamath Falls, OR. From 1945 to 1950 she worked at Newberry's as a sales clerk in the candy dept. In August 1952 they moved to Winston, OR. where she worked at Woolsworth as a clerk from 1954 to 1960. They lived in Dallas, TX. and Hobbs, NM for short period's of time returning back to Oregon in 1965, and settled in Medford.
She was hired as a housekeeper for Providence Hospital in 1967 and worked there 16 years until she retired in 1983. After retirement Mom & Dad traveled many miles in their motor home, and did a lot of sight seeing of Oregon, Washington and British Columbia and a few trips back to Arkansas. Mom was a fantastic seamstress, she would see an outfit (dress, suit, slacks etc.) in a store or catalogue, sit down at home and make a pattern from newspaper and make an almost identical outfit to fit her; she also made a few of Dad's suits and a lot of shirts. She also upholstered furniture, sofa's, recliners, rockers and chair seats, almost anything that could be recovered. A very talented woman.
She is survived by her daughter Lynn, son Tim (Jodi), grandson's Rich (Jac) Nave, Terry (JoAnne) Nave, step grandson's Phil (Tiff) Moore, & Mike (Joey) Moore, Paul Moore, grandchildren Nicki Wolf, Trevor Nave, Rikki Nave, Brandon Nave, Amber Nave, Adri Moore, sister-in-laws Ethel Waldon, Bernice Dolf, Katherine Gentry, Alta Wolf (all in Ark. & TX), and many nieces & nephews.
