Austin Roy Stone
Austin Roy Stone, 92, of Blevins, died Friday, April 22, 2005. He was born February 15, 1913, at McCaskill, AR, the son of the late J.O. (Oscar) and Elizabeth York Stone. He was a retired worker for the Hempstead County Road Department. He was a member of Friendship Methodist Church.
Mr. Stone was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Stone; two children, Hansford Stone and Sally Bowden; four brothers, Coy Stone, J.D. Stone, Imon Stone and Dalton Stone and one sister, Pauline Treece.
He is survived by one daughter, Ava Nell Brooks of Blevins, AR; two brothers, Sherman Stone of Benton, AR and Quinton Stone of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Danny Stone of McCaskill, AR, Debbie Butler of Sourlake, TX, David Stone of Texarkana, TX, Keith Brooks of Blevins, AR and Kellie Carter of Blevins, AR; six great-grandchildren; a number of nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 25, at Friendship Methodist Church, burial in Friendship cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

Bobby Gene Wood
Bobby Gene Wood, age 66, of Highland, Arkansas, died Friday April 22, 2005, at his home. He was born January 27, 1939 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas, the son of the late William Alfred and Dossie Calley Wood. Mr. Wood was a member of Open Door Baptist Church and an Army veteran. He was dedicated to his family, his work and his church. He recently graduated, in Spring 2005, from the Calvary Bible Institute in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife Joyce Wood of Highland; 1 son Unitas Wood of Houston, Texas; 3 daughters Sherry Wood Turley of Nashville, Caprice Wood Keys of Pike City, Catrice Wood Payne of Nashville; 2 sisters Elaine Marshall of Delight, Dixie Franks of Delight; 3 grandchildren Brad Payne, Sham Payne, Jackson Turley as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Robert Jewell McClure
Robert Jewell McClure, 85, of Nashville, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at a Nashville hospital. He was born March 13, 1920, at Nathan, AR, the son of the late Joe and Lucy Cornish McClure.
Mr. McClure was a member and a deacon at Immanuel Baptist Church. He was a retired Mechanist Supervisor for Raytheon-Aero Manufacturing Co.
Mr. McClure was preceded in death by his wife, Fern Brewer McClure; mother and step-father, Lucy and Mack Bradford; three brothers, Buster, Wayne and Junior Bradford; and one sister, Elsie Lakey.
He is survived by one son, Joe McClure of Nashville, AR; four brothers, Edwin Bradford of Wake Village, TX, Larkin Bradford of Kountze, TX, J.L. Bradford of Nashville, AR, and R.V. Bradford of Nashville, AR; five sisters, Ruby McDaniel of Magnolia, AR, Shirley Bradford of Nashville, AR, Betty Kibodeaux of Beaumont, TX, Linda Hockaday of Nashville, AR, and Patsy Whitehead of Genoa, AR, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 23, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Revs. Derl Lee and Glen Green officiating, burial in Restland Memorial Park, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

Edith Erwin
Edith Bernice Erwin, 83, of Nashville, died Friday, December 7, 2007 in Nashville. She was born on February 24, 1924 in Bingen, the daughter of the late James Booker and Virgie Beatrice (Ray) Tapscott. Mrs. Erwin was a homemaker and member of the Grace Baptist Church in Bingen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyle Medford; one grandson, Jeffery Boyd Thomas; one brother, and one sister.
Survivors include: two sons, Zane Thomas and Boyd Thomas both of Nashville; one daughter, Billie Smith of Nashville; one sister, Thelma Louise Moore of Springhill, Louisiana; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 10, 2007 at Ozan cemetery in Bingen with Dr. David Blase officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.

Earl Jester
Earl Tom Jester, age 87, of McCaskill, Arkansas, beloved husband and father, passed from this life on Thursday, December 6, 2007. He was born August 27, 1920 in Hollywood, Arkansas, the son of the late Bayle and Amanda Corley Jester. Mr. Jester was a member of the Church of Christ and was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 68 years, Clara Jester, and 9 brothers and sisters. Survivors include one son Gene Earl Jester and wife Lucretia; 3 daughters Brenda and John Ross, Amanda Jester, Deborah and Larry Fox all of McCaskill; 2 brothers Olen Jester of Nashville, Noel Jester of McCaskill; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Eunice “Stan” Howard
Eunice “Stan” Howard, 77, of Nashville, died Monday, December 3, 2007 in Nashville. He was born on November 18, 1930 in Murfreesboro, the son of the late Burton and Pearl (Womack) Howard. Mr. Howard was a Corrosion Tech. For Trans Western, member of the Masonic Lodge # 53 in Murfeesboro, AR. a veteran of the U.S. Navy and member of the First Baptist Church in Kermit, TX.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Floy Howard, and one brother, Dewey Howard.
Survivors Include: two sons and daughter-in-laws, Eddie and Wanda Howard of Kermit, Texas and Ronnie and Terri Howard of Willow Park, Texas; two sisters, Bobbie Strong of Nashville, AR and Geneva Womack of Bossier City, LA; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 7, 2007 at Latimer Funeral Chapel with Al Terrell officiating. Burial will follow at Merrell cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville, AR.

John Albert Simon
John Albert Simon, 60, of Murfreesboro, died Sunday, December 2, 2007. He was born September 25, 1947, in Wilburton, OK, the son of the late Willy and Lillie Pearl Harper Simon.
He was a member of the Biggs Chapel Methodist Church. He was a farmer.
Mr. Simon was preceded in death by three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Simon of Murfreesboro, AR; one son, Johnny Albert Simon, Jr. of Harrison, AR; one daughter, Sheila Ann Simon of Poteau, OK; two brothers, Bob Dean Hill of Red Oak, OK and Billy Ray Simon of Wilburton, OK; one sister, Dorothy Miller of Bentonville, AR; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 4, at Biggs Chapel Methodist Church, with Al Terrell officiating, burial in Academy cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.

Charlie Prince
Charles Edward “Charlie” Prince, 70, of Antoine, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at a Hope hospital. He was born June 18, 1937, in Delight, AR, the son of the late William Alexander and Velma Carrie Stone Prince.
He was a self employed mechanic and cattle farmer.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William Prince and one sister, Lois Monroe.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Prince of Antoine, AR; two sons and daughter-in-law, Eddie Prince of Benton, AR and Roger Prince and wife, D’Nelle, of Amity, AR; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra Finney and husband, Dwight, of Antoine, AR, Dianne Harris and husband, Randy, of Pisgah, AR and Janice Nolen of Delight, AR; two brothers, Lendon Prince of Gurdon, AR and Wayne Prince of Emmett, AR; one sister, Ruby Hunt of Prescott, AR; four granddaughters and four grandsons; one great-grandson; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 1, at Antoine cemetery, with Bro. Larry Bloomfield officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.

James Ronnie Lingo
James Ronnie Lingo, 65, of Murfreesboro, died Monday, November 26, 2007, at a Murfreesboro hospital. He was born July 5, 1942, in Murfreesboro, AR, the son of the late Sherman and Bell Westerman Lingo.
He was a retired Supervisor with Tyson Foods. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Mr. Lingo was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Ledbetter and a brother, Elbert Lingo.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Lingo of Murfreesboro, AR; three sons, Randy Lingo of Murfreesboro, AR, Rick Byers of Murfreesboro, AR and Johnny Byers of Murfreesboro, AR; five sisters, Alta Bumgarner of Shreveport, LA, Bunt Ballard of Murfreesboro, AR, Larrie Harris of Murfreesboro, AR, Donnie Dalton of Murfreesboro, AR and Anna Jean Bumgarner of Murfreesboro, AR; two grandchildren, Bradley Byers of Murfreesboro, AR and Bethany Marie Lingo of Murfreesboro, AR, a number of nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
