Jim K. Coffman Sr.
Jim K. Coffman Sr., age 85, resident of Warren, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004 in Tyler County Hospital in Woodville.
A native of Horatio, he was retired from Ideco; and was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Orphie Palmory Coffman; children, Mary Sue Kehtel and Kenneth Kehtel Sr., both of Warren, Thomas Richard Coffman of Beaumont, Judy Hartley of Burkeville, and Jim K. Coffman Jr. of Wildwood; five grandchildren; six great-grand-children; a number of nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services were held at 12 noon Saturday, Feb. 28 in Wildwood Baptist Church. A graveside service was held at 2:30 p.m. at Sycamore cemetery in Burkeville, under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Woodville.
The family received friends Friday, Feb. 27 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nene Morris
Mrs. Nene Morris, age 62, resident of Dierks, died Thursday, March 4, 2004 at her home.
She was born May 25, 1941 in Canada; was a retired registered nurse; a member of the Share a Plant club; and a Morman.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Morris of Dierks; five children; LaNette, Lanier, Lisa, Heath and Denise; several grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 10 in Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks.

Sandra Reavis
Sandra Watson Reavis, age 43, resident of Rockport, Tex., died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004 in Houston, Tex.
She was born March 16, 1960 in De Queen to Doyle W. and Betty Shelton Watson; was a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas; a Certified Public Accountant; and was formerly employed by Vernon E. Faulconer, Inc. in Tyler and subsequently by Price-Waterhouse-Coopers in Dallas. She was predeceased by her mother, Betty Shelton Watson; and grandparents, William and Irma Watson and Clarence and Myrtle Shelton.
She is survived by her husband, David M. Reavis of Rockport, Tex.; one daughter, Lindsey K. Reavis of Houston, Tex.; two stepsons, Brant T. Reavis of Allen, Tex., and Paul B. Reavis of Waco, Tex.; her father, Doyle W. Watson of Alba, Tex.; three sisters, Patricia Coplan Fry of Tyler, Tex., Sherry L. Wood of Bullard, Tex., and Phyllis K. Wallace of Mixon, Tex.; two brothers, Jimmy W. Watson of Lake O’ the Pines, Tex., and Joseph D. Watson of Linden, Tex.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 in Lloyd-James Funeral Home Chapel at Tyler, Tex.
The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27 at the funeral home.

Sandra Gail Watson Reavis
Sandra Gail Watson Reavis left this earth for her eternal home on February 24, 2004 at approximately 11:00 p.m. in Houston, Texas. She was born on March 16, 1960, in De Queen, Arkansas and was the third of six children born to Doyle W. Watson and Betty Shelton Watson.
She was a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and a Certified Public Accountant. She was formerly employed by Vernon E. Faulconer, Inc. in Tyler and subsequently by Price-Waterhouse-Coopers in Dallas.
She is survived by her husband, David M. Reavis of Rockport, Tex.; one daughter, Lindsey K. Reavis of Houston; two stepsons, Brant T. Reavis and wife, Jennifer, of Allen and Paul B. Reavis of Waco; her father, Doyle W. Watson of Alba; three sisters, Patricia Coplan Fry of Tyler, Sherry L. Wood of Bullard, and Phyllis K. Wallace of Mixon; two brothers, Jimmy W. Watson of Lake O' the Pines and Joseph D. Watson of Linden; her mother-in-law, Mae Reavis of Phoenix, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Shelton Watson; her father-in-law, George Reavis, and grandparents, William and Irma Watson and Clarence and Myrtle Shelton.
Honorary pallbearers were Brant Reavis, Paul Reavis, Jimmy Watson, Joseph Watson, Adam Wood, Paul Wood, Patrick Coplan, B. J. Watson, and Christopher Wallace.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 28, at the Lloyd-James Funeral Home Chapel in Tyler. Her ashes will be spread over the Gulf coast beaches that she loved so well.

Lori Jane O’Connor
Mrs. Lori Jane Lipsey O’Connor, age 33, resident of De Queen, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004 at her home.
She was born Sept. 2, 1970 at De Queen; was a member of First Assembly of God Church of De Queen; an employee of First State Bank of De Queen; and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Wesley Lipsey; and her grandparents, Robert Earl Goode, Jack Packnett, and Bess Lipsey.
She is survived by her husband, John O’Connor of De Queen; one son, Cal Michael O’Connor, and one daughter, Sammi Leigh O’Connor, both of the home; her parents, Judy and Gehri Packnett of De Queen; three brothers, Jeff Lipsey and Paul Lipsey, both of De Queen, and Scott Packnett of Bentonville; one sister, Debbie Bard of Texarkana; her paternal grandfather, Rev. Fred Lipsey of Horatio; her maternal grandmothers, Mary Jane Goode of De Queen and Allie Lee Packnett of Eagletown, Okla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004 in First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Steve Woods officiating. Burial followed in Old Center cemetery at Horatio, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen.

Avis Graves
Mrs. Henrietta Avis Latimer Graves, age 92, a resident of Lockesburg, Ark., died Monday, August 9, 2004 in the De Queen Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 10, 1912 in Lockesburg to James Willie and Bettie Pickens Latimer. She worked for Baldwin Piano Company and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lockesburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Graves on December 11, 1985; a brother, Ed Latimer; and a sister, Doris Carver.
She is survived by two sons, Benny A. Graves and Jim F. Graves, both of Lockesburg; two daughters, Betty Williams of Lockesburg and Mary Ann Mayo of Petrolia, Texas; three sisters, Grace Bell of Hot Springs, Ark., Elizabeth Bartee of Bellingham, Wash., and Willie Jim Millwee of De Queen, Ark.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Graves were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2004 in the First Baptist Church of Lockesburg with Rev. Jerrel Helms and Rev. Jack Gilliland officiating. Burial followed in the Belleville cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, at the funeral home.

Quentin Bonnette
Quentin Michael "Quen" Bonnette, age 26, resident of Breckenridge, Texas, died Thursday, July 29, 2004 near Decatur, Texas from injuries received in an oil rig accident.
He was born at Texarkana, Texas, on June 27, 1978. He was an employee of the Patterson Utility Oil Drilling Company.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Trudy and Stephen Stiers of Graham, Texas; his father and step-mother, Michael and Mona Bonnette of Prescott, Ark.; his brother and sister-in-law, Heath and Vikki Bonnette of Breckenridge, Texas; a niece, Zoee Bonnette; a nephew, Zade Bonnette; three step-brothers, Scot Stiers of De Queen; Stephan Haynes and Colton Phillips of Prescott, Ark.; one step-sister and brother-in-law, Wendy and Cameron McCain of Fayetteville, Ark.; his grandparents, Dick and Shirley Green of Breckenridge, Texas; Carroll and Shirley Bonnette of Nacogdoches, Texas; aunts and uncles, Sherry and Wade Wilson of Center Point, Ark., Troy and Cyndi Green of Monroe, La., Rick and Trudy Bonnette of Alaska, Tommy Bonnette of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Clarence Shilling.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Quentin Bonnette were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2004 in the Mt. Ida cemetery, De Queen, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.

Mrs. Wanda Peek
Mrs. Wanda Marie Willis Peek, age 74, resident of De Queen, died Saturday, August 14, 2004 in the Christus St. Michael Health System.
She was born to Emmitt and Effous Wolf Willis at Ultamathule, Okla. on August 9, 1930. She was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of De Queen. She was former owner of a dress shop, as well as a homemaker. She enjoyed antiques, collectibles, paintings, and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Thelma Colson, Audie Dunn and Bonnie LeForce; one brother, Roy Willis; and her husband, Don Peek, Sr.
She is survived by one son, Don and Kim Peek, Jr. of De Queen; two daughters, Cathryn and David Wacasey of De Queen and Cyndy and Joe Don Bassham of Diana, Tex.; one brother, Joe Willis of De Queen; three sisters, Polly Ray of Horatio, Ark., Dixie Cavender of Eagletown, Okla., and Hope Gore of De Queen; five grandchildren, Sundee Rossi, Garrett Stanley, Donnie Bassham, Philip Peek, and Paden Peek; two great-grandchildren, Scarlett Rossie and Jett Rossie; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Peek were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2004 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Faron Rogers officiating. Burial followed in Redmen cemetery, De Queen.
The family received friends at Chandler Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2004.

Willie Mae Taylor Roden
Mrs. Willie Mae Taylor Roden, age 90, a resident of Gillham, died Sunday, July 18, 2004 in the De Queen Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 19, 1913 in Gillham to W. T. and Rose Annyer Murdock Taylor. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.
Mrs. Roden was preceded in death by her husband, John Ballard Roden on March 4, 1966; and two sons, Rafe Doyle Roden and Raye Cleve Roden.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Roberson of Gillham; one sister, Mayme Caldwell of De Queen, eight grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Roden were held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2004, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Homer Frachiseur officiating. Burial followed in the Redmen cemetery.
The family received friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, at the funeral home.
