Wanda Kellough Owens
Wanda Kellough Owens, 76, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Lepanto, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003 while hospitalized in Tulsa.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andy Kellough.
Wanda grew up in Lepanto, attending school there and membering The Church of Christ.
She was very popular and garnered a host of friends with her pleasant personality and easy going manner.
Wanda left Lepanto for college to pursue further education.
She went on to enjoy a full and happy life with her loving family while becoming an accomplished writer and authoring over 20 novels.
Wanda's caring spirit, imagination and talent will be missed by many far beyond her circle of friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Owens and daughter, Sheila.
Bonnie Lou Hutcheson
Bonnie Lou Hutcheson, 63, of Pontiac, Mich., died February 10, 2002.
Hutcheson was originally from Dyess, moved to Pontiac in 1965, and retired from Bill Knapps in Rochester Hills, Mich.
Survivors include husband Curtis Hutcheson; two daughters, Deborah Hutcheson and Susan (Gene) Brown; two sons, Curtis Brian Hutcheson and Leon Hutcheson; one sister, LaVada Hall; two brothers, Charles Turner and George Turner; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 on Wednesday, Feb 13, 2002, at Coats Funeral Home in Waterford, Mich., with burial following at Hillview Memorial Gardens, also under the direction of Coats Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Envelopes will be available at the funeral home for memorial contributions, which will be made to the American Cancer Society.
Claude Wayne Smith
Claude Wayne Smith, 81 of Keiser, Ark. died December 25, 2001 at his home.
He was born September 22, 1920, a retired farmer, a Baptist and a lifetime resident of Mississippi County.
His wife Ruby Smith of the home, one son, Claude Smith, Jr. of Keiser, four stepsons, J. R. Owens of Wauchula, Fla., Billy Owens of Waynesboro, Tenn., James Owens of Polk City, Fla., Johnny Owens of Manchester, Tenn., two stepdaughters, Frances Hudson of Keiser, Ark. and Becky Owens of Keiser, Ark., one brother, Archie Smith of Batesville, 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren survives Mr. Smith.
Funeral services were December 28, 2001 at 2 p.m. at Wilson with Bro. Huey Meherg officiating and burial in Rivercrest Gardens in Marie, Ark.
The family received visitors on December 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola had charge of services.
Dallas Owen Williams
Dallas Owen Williams, 66 of Blytheville, Ark. died December 30, 2001 at Baptist Memorial in Osceola, Ark.
He was born May 7, 1935.
He was a contractor, a member of the Church of Christ and a lifetime resident of Mississippi County.
His parents William S. Williams and Leona Powell preceded him in death.
One son Tony Williams of Blytheville, five daughters, Susan Duncan of Marion, Julie Cupstid of Sebring, Fla., Beth Cash of Osceola, Janet Wallace of Paragould and Pat Williamson of Blytheville, one sister Earnestine Reeder of Luxora, and 13 grandchildren survive him.
A memorial service was performed at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2002 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, who had charge of the services.
Michael White
Michael White was a man full of determination to life with laughter and love.
He was born September 9, 1951, in Tyronza, to Buster and Myrtle White.
He grew up in Arkansas and graduated from high school in 1971.
Mike worked as manager of Fred's Discount Stores for 25 years, before working in customer service at Danaher Corporation.
On July 3, 1977, Mike married Glenda Rasdon, and together they had two sons, Michael and Steve.
Mike held his boys closer to his heart than anything.
In the last several years, he began gardening and cooking different meals that he concocted.
Mike was very close with his whole family and kept in contact with them on the phone and via e-mail.
His family includes his sons, Michael and Steven White of Trumann; siblings, Christine Grant of Muskegon, Mich., Roy and Nancy White of Plainwell, Mich., Ann and Dub Vaughn of Tyronza, Martha Evelyn and Bob McClellan of Allegan, Mich.; several nieces and nephews and his ex-wife, Glenda England.
Michael died under the loving care of his family on March 3, 2003, in Plainwell, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his father Buster in 1974, brother John Dee in 1956, and niece Debra Lynn.
Friends were able to visit with the family on Wednesday, March 5, 2003, from 4 n 8 p.m. at the Rupert, Durham, Marshall and Gren Funeral Home Chapel in Plainwell, Mich., where a Celebration of Life Service will be held today at 11 a.m.

Larry Richmond
Pastor Larry Richmond, 50, of Osceola died January 23, 2002 at North East Arkansas Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born in Osceola, Richmond was pastor of Pleasant Grove M. B. Church in Osceola for 10 years.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, lifetime resident of Osceola and a member of Blytheville area Minister Fellowship.
Richmond is survived by two sons, Larry T. Richmond, Jr. of Arlington, Texas and Kevin Johnson of Kalamazoo, Mich.; four daughters, Taiwanda Backstrom of Chicago, Latarsha Young of AFA, Hawaii, Bronzie Righmond of Little Rock and Desternie Richmond of Osceola; two sisters, June Taylor and Betty Flemming, both of Chicago; seven brothers, Willis, Leslie, Bobby and John Richmond, all of Benton Harbor, Mich. and Melvin, Curtis and James Richmond, all of Osceola and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held January 26 at Pleasant Grove M. B. Church in Osceola and visitation was January 25 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
