Doris Prince
Doris Lavada Prince, 75, of Plainview died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001.
She was born April 29, 1926, in Galla Rock to Jim Oliver and Ethel Hill Robinson. She was a production worker for Morrilton Plastics and a member of Casa Assembly of God.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Prince; a son, Riley Prince of Bigelow; daughter, Patti Ivey of Centerville; three brothers, O.J. Robinson and Bobby Robinson of Plainview and Larry Robinson of Casa; five sisters, Mary Sue Smith and Geneva Westlake of Plainview, Mildred Daniels and Jerry Taylor of Casa, and Donna Hickman of Booneville, Miss.; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, 2:30 p.m., at the Assembly of God in Casa with the Rev. Norman Chenowith officiating. Interment was in Needmore Cemetery in Casa by Cornwell Funeral Home, Dardanelle.
Pallbearers were Keith Westlake, James Paul Westlake, Wayne Smith, Jimmy Robinson, Randy Robinson, and Brian Robinson. Honorary pallbearer was Tom Damon.
Bill Dean
Bill J. Dean, 62, of Plainview died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001.
He was born Jan. 11, 1939, in Perryville to Jethro and Berdie Rorie Dean. He was a forklift driver for Northwest Timber in Plainview and a member of the Hilltop Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Bowen Dean; four sons, Kenneth Knight of Rover, Timmy Knight of Plainview, Robert Knight of Nimrod and Billy Dean of Oregon; two daughters, Kimberly Dean of Oregon and Teresa Harrison of Houston; a sister, Betty Jo Johnson of Jacksonville, 15 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday at 2 p.m. at Cornwell Chapel, Danville, with Sis. Dorothy Stewart and Bro. Tim Via officiating. Interment was in Salem Cemetery, Plainview, by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
Pallbearers were Joe Dishongh, Jimmy Norwood, Josh Emery, John Dean, Nicholas Knight, and Charlie Dean. Honorary pallbearers were Jeremy Knight, Junior Dean, Rickey Johnson, Ray Morrow, Kenneth Grant, and Tom Branch.
Opal Smith
Opal Bradley Smith, 85, of McGehee, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001 in El Dorado.
She was born Sept. 15, 1916, in Morrilton, the daughter of Adam A. Bradley and Mary Rebecca Hall Bradley. Mrs. Smith was the widow of Jack Smith. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Juanita Bradley Davis and Mary Bradley Ross, both of Russellville; and foster daughter, Brenda Knight of El Dorado.
Graveside service was Friday 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Harris Funeral Home.

Azilee Nichols
Azilee Nichols, 85, of Stuttgart, formerly of Perry County, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Nichols of Maumelle and Gary Nichols of Stuttgart; one daughter, Doris Jones of Greensboro, N.C.; three sisters, Trudy Greer of Indianapolis, Ind., Ruby Thompson of Buena Park, Calif., and Pearlee Dennis of El Dorado; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Volman Cemetery.
Marie Grable
Marie Grable, 79, of Houston, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002.
She was born Jan. 12, 1923, in Hollis, a daughter of Dewey and Lela Crites Jones. She was the widow of Alfred L. Grable, and member of Perryville Assembly of God.
Survivors include one sister, Lucille Yates of Hot Springs.
Graveside services were 2 p.m. Monday, Feb.4, 2002, at Perryville Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Hodge officiating. Arrangements were by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Pallbearers were Richard Youngman, Travis Camp, Richard Jones, Ray Jones, Jimmy Dixon, and Randy May.
Irene Elam
Irene Halbrook Elam, 89, of Jerusalem, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002.
She was born Sept. 1, 1912, in Cleveland, a daughter of James B. Halbrook and Myrtle Mae Burnett Halbrook. She was the widow of Troy Amos Elam, and member of Jerusalem Church of Christ.
Survivors include two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at the Harris Chapel with Mr. Loyd Brents officiating. Burial was at Old Liberty Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
Pallbearers were J.E. Church, Odell Eubanks, Mack Norwood, Evern Lawless, Thomas Jemison and James Bartlett.
Ann Chamblee
Ann Chamblee, 56, of Manchester, Tenn., died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002.
She was the daughter of the late Ralph Lee Wooten and Ruby Mae Jorden Wooten of Morrilton, and a 1962 graduate of Morrilton High School.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Chamblee of Manchester, Tenn.; three sons, Rodney L. Chamblee of Manchester, Tenn., Richard S. Chamblee, and Randall J. Chamblee, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were not available.
Richard Boyette
Richard Dennis Boyette, 49, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002.
He was born Jan. 9, 1953, in Little Rock, a son of the late Jean Harrison Boyette. Mr. Boyette worked for a sheet metal company.
Survivors include his father, D.J. Boyette of Perryville; one brother, David Boyette of Perryville; four sisters, Deborah Boyette and Michelle Favre, both of Little Rock, and Patricia Dedmon and Theresa Tripp, both of North Little Rock; two stepbrothers, Richard Rogers of Searcy and Randy Rogers of Malvern; three stepsisters, Kari Fitzhugh of Perryville, Kay Rogers of Little Rock, and Kathy Benberg of Sherwood.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, at Harmony Baptist church with Rev. Robert Duhon officiating. Burial was at Harmony Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
Pallbearers were Dale Boyette, Clyde Boyette, Derik Boyette, Anthony Boyette, Bill Boyette, and Walter Wise. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Treadway and J.C. Daniels.
