Enola Pauline Fish
Enola Pauline Fish, age 76, of Ash Flat, died Saturday, at her Residence.
She was the daughter of the late Uliss Ray and the late Essie May (Curtis) Ray.
Survived by her Daughter, Jeanette and Larry (Fish) Fish of Cherokee Village, Ark. Sons, Johnnie Fish, Elton and Phyllis Fish of Williford, Ark. Gary and Phyllis Fish of Marion, Ark. Jerry Wayne Fish of Aurora, Ill. Sister, Febbie and Herb Tune of Kennett, Mo. Twelve grandchildren, Twenty Seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Daughter Gail Lavern Fish, four Brothers, Ed, Alvin, Ellis and Elmer Curtis.
Funeral service will be at Heath Funeral Home, of Highland at 11:00 AM Tuesday, with Brother Jerry Jolley officiating. Interment will be 3:00 PM at Memorial Park in Blytheville, Ark.
Kenneth French
Kenneth French, age 81, of Glencoe, died Saturday, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem,
Survived by his wife Veles French, daughter Kristine French and son Kevin French of the home, daughters Bonnie Pyron and Kathy Croft of Sterling, IL, Lisa Flanagan of Naperville, IL, Nina French of Seattle, WA., sons Kenny French of Hardy, sister Barbara Evans of Hardy, brother Billy Joe French of Hardy, fifteen Grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his Less and Alpha (Rogers) French, Brother Max French, daughters Lynn Stringer and Dawn Ulve, grandson Justin Stringer, and a great Grandson Adam French.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 10:00am in the French Cemetery, with Brother John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00pm Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Heath Funeral Home, Oak Hill Chapel, of Highland.
The family, ask that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Carolyn Gann
Mrs. Carolyn Joyce Gann, age 71, of Poughkeepsie, died Sunday, December 20, 2009, at her residence. Carolyn was a Homemaker.
She was the daughter of the late Donald and Cathern Keller Campbell.
She is survived by her husband David Gann of the home; Daughter, Janice Gann of Phoenix, AZ; Son, Duane Gann of Phoenix, AZ; Sisters, Mary Julitta OSF, and Catherne Fyre; Brothers, Thomas & Mary Campbell, Robert & Joan Campbell, Dennis & Sharon Campbell, Michael & Denise Campbell, Kevin & Andie Campbell, David & Jan Campbell and Gregory Campbell. She is also survived by Seven grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, in Cherokee Village with Father Tom Marks officiating. Rosary will start at 12:30PM. Interment will be in St. Michael's Columbarium.
Mildred Erline Groves
Mrs. Mildred Erline Groves, age 83, of Hardy, AR, died Sunday, December 13, 2009, at Ash Flat Nursing & Rehab. She was a Homemaker.
She is survived by her Daughter Barbara Long of Hardy; Two Sons, Kenneth Groves and Claude Groves of Hardy; One Sister, Shirley Sharp of Hardy; Eight grandchildren, Twelve great-grandchildren and Three great-great grandchildren.
Arrangements are entrusted to Heath Funeral Home of Highland where the family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Wednesday. Funeral Service will be at Spring River Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 17, 2009 with Bro. Floyd Rikard officiating. Interment will follow in Bronaugh Cemetery.
Lenora Ann Carmon
Lenora Ann (McNeill) Carmon, age 75, of Highland, AR, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. Lenora was a Homemaker and a member of the Ash Flat United Methodist Church.
Lenora was born on July 5, 1935 in Calico Rock, AR and the daughter of the late Eldridge McNeill and the late Audney (Sims) McNeill.
Lenora worked as a telephone operator for Pacific Bell in Wenatchee, WA and had many conversations with an Air Force telephone operator by the name of Jack Carmon. The two became friends thru the wires and arranged to meet. Lenora could not see without her glasses but wanted to impress her date and decided not to wear them. On September 16, 1956 Lenora and Jack met on a “blind date.” They married on November, 20 1956 at the Calico Rock Methodist Church in Calico Rock, AR.
She is survived by her husband Jack Carmon; Daughter Jacquelyn and husband Charles Snapp of Walnut Ridge, Ark. Son David and wife Mitzi Carmon of Springdale, Ark. One Brother David McNeill of Cabot, Ark. Grandson Gary and wife Holly Gill, Granddaughter Jennifer and husband Scott Faldon, Grandson Jordan and wife Trina Carmon, Granddaughter Morgan Carmon, Great Grandson Luke Gill and Great Grand daughter Paige Elizabeth Faldon.
Funeral Service will be Friday at 11:00 am at Heath Oak Hill Chapel of Highland. Visitation will be from 6:00pm till 8:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Highland.
Those wishing to leave a lasting memorial might consider the Arkansas Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
James "JC" Curtis Causbie
Mr. James Curtis "J.C." Causbie, age 76, of Highland, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Edgar Causbie and the late Opal (Sitz) Causbie.
He is survived by his wife Flora of the home; One Daughter, Ellen Hass of Pasadena, TX; Three Sons, Roy Causbie of Dalton, AR, James Causbie of Elk City, OK and John Causbie of the home; One Sister, Rosalie Revis of Conway, AR; One Brother, Edgar Shelby Causbie of Ash Flat; Five grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gordon Causbie.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 31, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ward Street Church of Christ in Hardy with Bro. Tom O’Neal and Bro. Gerald Bolin officiating . Burial will follow in the Wiles Cemetery in Ash Flat. Arrangements entrusted to Heath Funeral Home of Highland, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, July 30, 2009.
Linda Chambers
Linda K (Johnson) Chambers, age 62, of Hardy, Ark., died Saturday, in Horseshoe Bend, Ark.
She is survived by her Son Scott and Becky Chambers Grandchildren Ashley, Roman and Kelsey of Marmaduke, Ark. and her father Murl Johnson of Paragould, AR also her Fiance Richard Tyree of Hardy.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:30pm at the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Haliday North of Paragould. With Less Payne officiating. Memorials may be made to the New Liberty Church.
Jean Cossey
Mr. Joseph Jean Cossey, Sr., age 60, of Williford, died Thursday, at Residence. Jean was retired from working on the River Boat.
He was the son of the late Billy Cossey and the late Edra Mae (Davis) Cossey.
He is also survived by his wife Diane Cossey; of the home Daughters, Vickie Barnett of Williford, Jennifer Campbell of Savannah, Tenn., and Shelbie Cossey of the home, Two Sons, Joseph Cossey of Florida and Dakota Cossey of the home. Three Brothers, Bill Cossey of Williford, Kelly Cossey and Archie Cossey and Fifteen grandchildren.
