Leon J. Bohanan

Mr. Leon J. Bohanan, age 71, of Watson, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at his home.
He was born January 5, 1941 in Talihina, Oklahoma and was a test technician at U.S. Motors for 34 years. He was united in marriage to Jency Willis. Leon was a member of the Buffalo Presbyterian Church and was a Certified Lay Preacher and also a member of the Choctaw Agency Evangelism Committee. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his biological parents, John and Lottie Dwight Stevens, and by his adoptive parents, Mixton and Katie Bohanan, by a special uncle, Willie Bohanan, Funeral services will be Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Smithville Gymnasium with Elder Nathan Watson officiating. Interment follows in Smithville Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, June 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Choctaw Agency Evangelism Committee.
Pallbearers will be Casey Don Baker, Donald Watson, Donnie Baker, Mike Sands, Silas Baker, and Thurmon Hudson. Honorary pallbearers are Edrin Bohanan, Jerry Lowman and Kenny Bryant, Councilman.

Sherry Craig, age 68, of Hatfield, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Mena.
She was born April 5, 1944 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Cecil Vernon Edwards and the late Stella Mae Moddesett Edwards. She was united in marriage to Wallace James Craig. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Willard Ross Kent, a great-grandson Garreth Strickland, and a great-granddaughter, Lydia Marie Kent.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hatfield First Baptist Church with Brother Scott O’Rear officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.

Bobby Cook, age 59, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 in Mena.
He was born August 24, 1952 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to the late Fredda Harold Cook and the late Erma Juanita Chaffin. He was united in marriage to Theresa Ann Wagoner. He was a Construction Plant Manager and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Graveside services will be Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be general. Honorary pallbearers are Keith Cook, Alex Cook, Ben Vincent, Brady Newbolt, Kenneth Wood, and Fred Atkinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

He was a truck driver by profession and was of the Christian faith. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

She was born February 27, 1944 in Mt. Pine, Arkansas to the late Luther D. Buckley and the late Mattie Winnie Partridge. She was united in marriage to Brother Robert C. Willis. She was a CNA and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend, and will be missed by those who loved and knew her.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Union Grove Holiness Church at Acorn with Brother Roy Bass officiating. Interment follows in Owens Chapel Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday July 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be George Willis, Tony Willis, Glen Pearson, Donny Drake, Johnny Lane, and Jason Tallant.
