Steve Roger Rawlings

Steve Roger Rawlings, age 52, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 in Mena, Arkansas.
Steve Rawlings, also known as “Wolf” and “Paw Paw” was born March 19, 1959 in Tampa, Florida to the late Charles William Rawlings and Judy Smith Rawlings. He was married to Lora A. Keefer Rawlings. Steve was a Master Carpenter for forty-two years. He was member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and of the Episcopalian faith. Steve was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew and loved him.

Brothers: Clay Rawlings and wife Sharon of Tallahassee, Florida Bill Scott and wife Wendy of Mena, Arkansas
Sister: Misty Borders of Killen, Alabama
Grandchildren: Kaleigh Warren, Emma Bates, Troy Bates, Summer, Brycelynn and Autumn Raines. Hannah and Rebecca Bates Thomas Smith

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles William Rawlings, and father-in-law, Claude T. Borders.
Memorial services will be Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the McMillan Park in Mena with Brother Bill Scott officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Cannaday, Rick Stroud, Randy Mardis, Larry Martin, Larry Northcutt and Aaron Hampton.
Virgil Grady Willis
(September 29, 1941 - March 19, 2012)
Virgil Grady Willis, age 70, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 in Mena.
He was born September 29, 1941 to the late Grady Franklin Willis and the late Bertha Chaney Willis. He was united in marriage to Brenda Foster. He was a machinist by profession at U.S. Electrical Motors and retired after 31 years, and was also a veteran, serving his country in the United States Army from 1964 until 1966. He was an avid hunter of turkey, and deer, he was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

Brothers: Jim Willis and wife Francine of Mena, Arkansas Rod Willis of Sonora, California Jeff Willis and wife Carol of Napa, California Brother and Sister-in-Law: Gene and Pat Earhart of Anaheim, California
Numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Bertha Willis, a son, Dewayne Virgil Willis, and his mother-in-law, Mildred Standridge.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with interment following in Owens Chapel Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday evening, March 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Darvin Howard, Ben Howard, Steve Graves, Kenyon O’Daniel, Andy Brown, Stanley Chaney, Danny Chaney, and Hoyt Graves. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Pace, Bob Harrison, Harold Womack, Brett Haney, Millard Pace, Palmer Lee Pace, and his many friends throughout the years.
Rosa P. Quigley
(December 30, 1920 - March 20, 2012)
Rosa P. Quigley, age 91, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Mena.
She was born December 30, 1920 to the late Herbert Daggett and the late Mabel Yurington Daggett. She was united in marriage to the late William Quigley. She was a homemaker by profession and was a member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Quigley was also active in her community and was a member of the National Button Club and was in the Alpha Beta Phi Sorority. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and won’t soon be forgotten.
She is survived by:
Son: Don Quigley and wife Miriam of Mena, Arkansas
Sister: Della Johnson of Apache Junction, Arizona
1 grandchild and 1 great-grandchild
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Quigley and by her parents, Herbert and Mabel Quigley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Ankeny Funeral Home in Ankeny, Iowa with Brother Scott Jones officiating. Interment follows in Elkhart Cemetery. Local arrangements are under the directions of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
Joan Meade Tucker

Joan Meade Tucker, age 69, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012 in Mena.
She was born August 26, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Billy Field and the late Marie Usrey Field. She was united in marriage to the late Cleo Tucker. She was a retail clerk for many years and was of the Lutheran faith. She was a loving mother, step-mother, aunt, and friend.
She is survived by:

Nephew: Jeffrey Field of Mena, Arkansas
Niece: Rebecca Cotton of Geneva, Alabama

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Marie Field, husbands, George Meade and Cleo Tucker, and 2 brothers, Kenneth Field and Douglas Field.
Mrs. Tucker was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. No services have been scheduled at this time.
