Faye Beason
Faye Britt Holcombe Beason of Perryville, formerly of Little Rock, died Saturday, June 2, 2001.
She was born Sept. 27, 1914, in Nashville to Thomas Benjamin and Bertha Roberts Britt. She was retired from AT&T in Little Rock and was a Methodist.
Survivors include one son, James T. Holcombe of Mablevale; two daughters, Helen Townsend of Little Rock and Judy Waddle of Bigelow; one brother, Van Britt of Nashville; one sister, Mae Baumgardner of Stockton, Calif.; eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bluff Springs Community Church in Howard County with the Rev. James Conn officiating. Burial was in Bluff Springs Cemetery in Howard County by Roller Chenal Funeral Home.
Verne Vance Sr.
Verne K. Vance Sr., 89, of Perryville died Friday, June 1, 2001.
He was a retired electrician and a member of IBEW 295.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Vance; one daughter, Verna Dame of Perryville; one son, Ken Vance Jr. of Waco, Texas; two bothers, Knofel Vance of Little Rock and Herman Vance of California, and four granddaughters.
Graveside services were Monday 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park with arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 N. University, Little Rock, Ark. 72207.
Dwight Parker
Dwight Parker, 56, of Morrilton died Thursday, May 24, 2001.
He was born in Morrilton Feb. 1, 1945.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Saturday at Hickory Hill Baptist Church by Gunn Funeral Home.
Mary Huffman
Mary Lucille Huffman, 53, of Atkins died Thursday, May 17, 2001.
She was born June 24, 1947, in Jerusalem. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked at the Atkins Pickle Plant.
Survivors include her mother, Ollie Lucille Porter Kincannon of Atkins; one daughter, Karen Rutherford of Maumelle; one son, James Huffman of Appleton; one sister Gladys McCracken of Atkins; two brothers, John Kincannon of Sherwood and W.D. Kincannon of Conway, and five grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial were May 19 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Jerusalem with Todd Ferguson officiating.
Memorials may be made to Southern Christian Home, 100 W. Harding, Morrilton, Ark. 72110.
