Marvin Leven officiating. Interment was in the Newkirk Cemetery. A memorial has been established with the Newkirk FFA. Contributions may be made through Eastman National Bank, Newkirk.

Vivian L. Poole, 87, Winfield, died Sunday (Oct. 22, 2000) at the Good Samaritan Village in Winfield. There will be no funeral services. In accordance with her wishes, her body was donated to the University of Kansas Medical School for research.

Elizabeth I. Bailey, 75, Newton, died Thursday (Dec. 7, 2000) at the Newton Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 12, 2000) at the Broadway Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. C. Kent Rogers of the Salem United Methodist Church of Newton will officiate. Interment will be in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita.
