Wanda Lu Spencer, 64, longtime Newkirk resident, died Sunday (May 7, 2000) in the Newkirk Nursing Center. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday (May 10, 2000) in the Newkirk First Christian Church with Danny W. Cornish, minister of the Newkirk Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in the Newkirk Cemetery. The casket will be closed just prior to service time and not reopened.
