Faye Black, age 88, of Warren, died Wednesday, December 3, at Bradley County Medical Center. Born September 4, 1915 in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Mack Lee Raymer and Ruth Mae Carraway Raymer she was a retired beautician, member First Baptist Church and the widow of Arthur Brown Black who died June 18, 1993. They were united in marriage December 1, 1935. Survivors are: 1 son Bobby G. Black, Euless, TX.; 1 brother, Harold Mack Raymer, New Edinburg, Ark.; 2 sisters Norma Ruth Frey, Many, LA, and Verna Ann Stovall, Jackson, MO.; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 6, Frazer's Chapel by Rev. Greg Stanley. Page Grider was the organist. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Kevin Black, Brian Griffin, Earl Stovall, Bud Frey, E. M. Reynolds, Jr. and G. B. Black.

Doris "Dot" Caplinger, age 95, of Hermitage, died Wednesday, December 3, at Wagnon Place Nursing Home. Born March 8, 1908 in Santuck, AR, a daughter of the late John Fred Stuart and Mattie Lee Baker Stuart she was a retired beautician, member Hermitage Baptist Church and the widow of Clarence Caplinger who died October 6, 1967. Also preceding her in death was a son Charles Greenwood, brothers, Vance Stuart and H.D. Stuart and a sister, Ercel Wilson. Survivors are 2 sons John Fred Greenwood of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Joe Ted Greenwood of Hermitage. 1 sister, Euna Stansberry of Temple, Texas. 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Saturday December 6, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Bob Meggs officiating. Paige Grider was organist. Burial was in Hickory Springs Cemetery near Hermitage, by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Baker Peebles, Al Wilson, Carroll Stuart, Gale Stuart, John Jordan and Jason Morton. Honorary pallbearers were Lamar Johnson and Mark Berg.

Margaret York, age 71, of Warren, Arkansas, died Friday, December 5, at the home of her daughter in Pine Bluff, Ark. She was born September 23, 1932 at Halley, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Elmer T. Turner and Myrtle Annie Lewis Turner. She was a homemaker and a member of the Light House Church. She married Thomas Harold York on February 2, 1946 and he died July 24, 1994. Surviving is a son, Thomas Harold "Bubba" York, Jr., Warren, Ark.; 4 daughters, Carol Ann Carter, Monroe, La., Lisa Johnson, Mt. Pleasant, Ark., Vickie Belin, Pine Bluff, Ark., and Jennifer York, Pine Bluff, Ark.; 1 brother Jacob "Jake" Turner, Naples, Fla.; 3 sisters Marie Skowronski, Little Rock, Ark., Eunice Parrott, Warren, Ark., and Ruby Holland, Benton, Ark.; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. 2 brothers Joe Turner and John Turner and a " sister, Willie Graves also preceded her in death. Funeral services were 1:30 pm Sunday, December 7, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Tee Don White officiating. Paige Grider was organist and soloist was Jennifer York. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Greg Harrison, Jordon Hampton, Donald Hollingsworth, Stan Sharpe, Doug Thornton and Ken Goodwin. Allie Mae Brown, age 86, of Warren, Arkansas, died Tuesday, December 9, at BCMC. She was born April 17, 1917 in Bradley County, Arkansas, a daughter of the late W. W. Hamilton and Julia Addie Sled Hamilton. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church. She married Louie Jackson Brown on December 23, 1945 and he died June 7, 1996. Surviving is a brother, Byron Hamilton, Hermitage, Ark.; a sister, Susie Weatherly, Warren, Ark., 4 brothers William A. Hamilton, Troy Hamilton, Curtis Hamilton and Vernoy Hamilton and a sister, Clarice H. Huitt, preceded her in death. Funeral services were 1:30 pm Thursday, December 11, at Frazer's Chapel by Rev. Jerry Carter. Janice Sullivan, Ben Garner and Clara Carter provided the music. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls by Frazer's Funeral Home Active pallbearers were Don Hamilton, Billy M. Mrs. Vertie Lou Stoddard
Mrs. Vertie Lou Stoddard, 73, of Warren, died Friday, March 28, 1975 in the tornado.
She was born August 17, 1901, at Banks, a daughter of the late Jerome "Doc" and Lou Anna Murry McFarland.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Ark. State Hospital where she worked for 48 years, and a member of the Banks Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include 1 brother, Auburn J. McFarland, Sr., of Banks; 1 sister, Mrs. Beadie Stell of Warren; 21 nieces and nephews.
Funeral was 10:00 A. M., Monday, March 31, at the Banks Presbyterian Church with Rev. Vernie Bartlett officiating.
Organist was Mrs. Margie Bartlett.
Burial was in McFarland Cemetery at Banks by Frazer's Funeral Home.
Miss Marilyn Jeanette Robertson
Miss Marilyn Jeanette Robertson, age 39, of Warren, died March 28, 1975 in the tornado.
She was born August 29, 1935, at Marsden, a daughter of the late Lonnie Albert and Evie Gorman Robertson.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Mrs. Martha Sue Boyd of Warren, and Mrs. Myrtle Lee Gates of Calif.; 1 niece, 2 nephews, and 4 great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral was 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 1, at Frazer's Chapel of the Chimes with Rev. James Walker and Rev. Vernie Bartlett officiating.
Organist was Mrs. Janice Sullivan.
Burial was in Marsden Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.

Dorothy Marie "Dot" Essi, age 92, of Warren, Arkansas, died Thursday, December 11, at the Bradley County Medical Center. She was born August 11, 1911 in Warren, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Floyd Bryant and Tezzie Lowe Bryant. She was a retired manager of Creekwood Place Apartments with 20 years of service, a member of First Baptist Church and the widow of Thomas Essi who died November 7, 1984. Surviving is a nephew, Bob Bryant, Anguilla, Mississippi; a sister-in-law, Pearlene Bryant, Warren, Arkansas, and Helen Mullin, Warren, Arkansas. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lawrence Bryant and Durell Bryant. Graveside services were 1:30 pm Saturday, December 13, at Oakland Cemetery by Rev. Greg Stanley. Pallbearers were Bill Hargis, James Lee Mullins, Max Givens, Bob Johnson, Leonard "Bubba" Johnson and Ralph Costin. Arrangements by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren.

Morgan Charles Gullett, age 80, of Italy, Texas formerly of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, died Wednesday December 10, at Trinity Rehabilitation Center, Italy, Texas. He was born September 9, 1923 at New Edinburg, Arkansas, a son of the late Ottie Deloach Gullett and Effie Louise Leach Gullett. He was a Baptist and a retired mechanic for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department. Surviving is a son, Roger Ginnett, Italy, Tex.; 1 brother, Fabron Gullet, New Edinburg, Ark.; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Marvin C. Gullett, a daughter Gaylene Ann Blackmon, 4 brothers, George Gullett, J. D. Gullett, James Aubrey Gullett and Robert Terrell Gullett and a sister Beatrice Moseley. Funeral services were 10:00 am Saturday, December 13, at Frazer's Chapel by Rev. Wayman Mann. Frances LaNora Wolfe, age 62, of Warren, Arkansas, died Friday December 12, at JRMC. She was born August 31, 1941 at Warren, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Oral V. Guest and Doris Reynolds Guest. She worked at Jack Winter Co., La Dona's, Burlington Industries and at the time of her death was employed by H. and L. Poultry. She was a member of Goodhope United Methodist Church. She married William "Bill" Wolfe on February 20, 1960 and he died February 24, 1993. Surviving is a son, Mike Wolfe, Warren, Ark.; a daughter, Mary Frances Davis and spouse, David, Banks, Ark.; 3 sisters Dorothy Spraggins and spouse, Harold and Alice Scott all of Warren, Ark., and Katherine Simmons and spouse, Jerry, Crestview, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Sue Clup, Woodlawn, Ark. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Irene Guest. Funeral services were 10:00 am Wednesday, December 17, at Frazer's Chapel by Rev. John Kidwell and Rev. Wayman Mann. She was born December 5, 1912 in Marsden, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Samuel Russell and Frances Burr Busby Russell. She was retired from Aubert Reynolds Grocery with 40 years of service, a member of the First Assembly of God Church and widowed of Alfred Davis whom she married March 30, 1930 and he died September 21, 1992. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mary Frances Davis Black, Denham Springs, La., and Kaylon Davis Scroggins, Shreveport, La.; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Davis, a brother, Sam "Rusty" Russell; 2 sisters, Duffy Mae Yancy and Ophelia DeArmond. Funeral services were 2:00 pm Friday, December 19, at the First Assembly of God Church by Rev. Jim Bales. Rachel Nicholson was the pianist. Burial in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.
