Agatha S. (Aggie) Enns, 79 of Grunthal, Manitoba, Canada, (formerly of Paris) died Monday, June 24, 2002 in Canada.
She was born March 28, 1923 to the late Henry K. and Katharina Harder. She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) Enns.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2002 at First United Methodist Church in Paris.
Funeral service was conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2002 at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Manitoba, under the direction of Birthwood Funeral Chapel.
She is survived by one son, Dr. Wayne Enns, of Paris; two daughters, Carrie Kelly and Shelley Stewart; four sisters, Catherine Harder, Sue Heinrichs, Ann Gawley, and Lee Bartel; and three brothers; Harry Harder, Peter Harder, and Ed Harder; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Family Life Center Fund at the First United Methodist Church in Paris.
Theresa Burch
Theresa Schoen Burch, 91, died Thursday, June 20, 2002 at a Riverside hospital in Riverside, Calif.
She lived in Riverside for 28 years and worked in the printing industry. She was a member of the Graphic Communication International Union.
Services were held Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Riverside.
She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn of Riverside and Lynn Daytz of Florida; two grandsons; three sisters, Kathryn Hoegger of San Francisco, Cecelia Williams of El Paso, Tex. and Ann Duerr of Subiaco and many nieces and nephews.
William Ezell
William Russell Ezell, 79, of Paris, died Friday, June 28, 2002.
He was a farmer, a member of First Baptist Church of Paris and a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by parents, William Roscoe and Emma Maude (McCubbins) Ezell.
Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 at First Baptist Church in Paris with burial at Baxley cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by wife, Lila Lee Davis Ezell of the home in Paris; three sons, Glynn Davis and Jerry Ezell both of Paris, and Bill Ezell of Bryan, Tex.; two sisters, Emma Gene Hice of Apple Valley, Calif., and Corine Hatcher of Paris; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Shawn Ezell, Jimi Davis, Tom Davis, Bill Hatcher, Jack Hatcher and Mike Ezell.
Claud Westmoreland
Claud W. Westmoreland, 87, of Magazine died Saturday, June 29, 2002.
He was a aircraft mechanic, a 32nd Degree Mason and a veteran of World War II.
The body was cremated and a memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 1 at the United Methodist Church in Magazine under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Booneville.
He is survived by wife, Mildred Westmoreland of Booneville; one daughter, Phyllis Kerneham of Benning, Calif.; five step-daughters, Patsy, Norma, Joyce, Linda and Judy; four step-sons, Raymond, Stanley, Jimmy and Gene and Harold; six brothers, Damon, Joe, Bill, Norris, Raymond, and Kenneth Westmoreland all of Magazine; two sisters, Lillie Foy Gordon of Magazine, and Nelda Baird of Henderson, Tex.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Jesse Robinson
Jesse V. Robinson, 92, of Paris died Friday, June 28, 2002.
He was a farmer and a member of Shaver Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by parents, George and Viola (Holsted) Robinson.
Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Monday, July 1 at Shaver Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial at Cedar Grove cemetery in Caulksville under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by two daughters, Wilda Hice and Sue Brown both of Magazine; two sisters, Catherine Harris of Fort Smith and Irene Waller of Nice, Calif.; one brother, Eulis Robinson of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Argus Robinson, Bill Riddles, Max Harvell, John Beasley, Haskell Casalman, and Stanley Sarten.
Honorary pallbearers were Buhl Nichols, Tom Sarten, and Roy Max Humphreys.
Virginia Besier
Virginia Ann Besier, 72, of Paris, died Saturday, June 29, 2002.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Helton of Paris; infant son, Richard H. Helton; four brothers, Robert, Raymond, Douglas and Budda Kinney all of Paris; two sisters, Mary Honea and Imogene Berrios both of Fort Smith; parents, William and Atha Kinney of Paris. She was a Catholic.
Rosary was at 7 p.m. Monday, July 1 at Murry Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Mass was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 2 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Ratcliff with burial at St. Anthony's cemetery in Caulksville under the direction of Murry Funeral Home of Paris.
She is survived by husband, Elton W. Besier of Paris; three daughters, Atha Stinnett of Ratcliff, Cindy Thurman of Ozark, and Katrina Stengel of Ratcliff; two sons, James Helton of Paris and Elton Besier, Jr. of Ozark; three sisters, Laura Stokes of Waldron, Viola Groh of Overton, Tex., and Melvonia Lantz of Elk City, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Frank Thurman, Joey Thurman, James Helton, Jr., Joey Kinney, Eugene Corley and Billy Wilkins.
Honorary pallbearers were Ray Gregory, Jerry Daughtery, James Kinney, Jason Varos, and friends and family.

Emma Ruth Street, 89, of Paris, died Sunday, May 26, 2002.
She was a homemaker and preceded in death by husband, James "Bob" Street and two brothers, Winford Huckaby and Ed Huckaby.
Graveside service and burial was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 29 at McVay cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
She is survived by two neices, Shelby Holzmer of Ozark and Pat Gleghorn of Paris.
Robert Hudson
Robert "Bob" Hudson, 66, of Paris, died Tuesday, May 28, 2002.
He was a retired truck driver and attended the Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Gladys (Hertz) Hudson; one sister, Millidean Hudson; and three brothers, John, Gary and Melvin Hudson.
Graveside service and burial was at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at the Caulksville cemetery in Caulksville under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by wife, Patsy "McCoy" Hudson of Paris; two daughters, Barbara Emery of Tecumseh, Okla., and Joann Eckelhoff of Paris; one son, Michael Robert Hudson of Paris; two brothers, Normall Hudson of Conway, S.C. and Jack Hudson of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four grandchildren.

Wallace Thompson
Wallace "Tom" Thompson, 72, of Paris died Thursday, May 9, 2002 in Hughes Springs, Tex.
He was a retired civil servant from Fort Richardson, Alaska, and a member of Southside Baptist Church of Paris. He was preceded in death by his wife, Chrystal Thompson.
Memorial service was Saturday, May 25 at Southside Baptist Church in Paris with burial at McKendree cemetery under the direction of Murry Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by one daugher, Catherine "Cricket" Kimbrough of Ore City, Tex.; three stepbrothers, of Ore City, Tex.; two grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

Jim Johnson
Jim Johnson, 30, of Lavaca died Monday, May 27, 2002 in Webbers Falls, Okla.
He was born Jan. 12, 1972 in Paris. He was a route sales representative for Wonder Bread Company and a member of Ducks Unlimited. He was a dedicated father and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris.
Funeral service was at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2002 at First Baptist Church in Paris. Burial followed at Oakwood cemetery in Paris under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita Brown Johnson, of Paris; one sister, Billie Konert of Van Buren; and four nieces, Amber, Abby, and Andrea Konert and Krista Meador.
Pallbearers were Dan Porter, Trevor Rice, Creed Wells, Eric Parsons, Mark Heft, Rick Allen and Ryan Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers were employees of Wonder Bread Company, Lance Jarrard, Glen Inman, Bob Harris, David Raper, Mason Anhalt, Heath Hampton, Greg Sharum, Jason Sharum, Charlie Wright and Bud Schwartz.
