Robert P. Long (Bud), 53, of Eupora, Miss. died Friday, Nov. 15, 2002.
He was born July 27, 1949 in Paris. He was a professional musician. He was preceded in death by grandparents Paul and Blanche Melton of Corley.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Pauline (Melton) O'Quinn of Eupora, Miss. and step-father Bill O'Quinn of Scranton; daughter, Heather Bullock of Billings, Mont.; two sons, Eric Long of Billings and James Long of Argenta, Ill.; two sisters Marilyn Stanfield of Scranton, and Patricia O'Neal of Moore, Okla.; four brothers, Billy O'Quinn and James O'Quinn both of Paris, David O'Quinn of Moore, Okla., and Randy O'Quinn of Eupora, Miss.; four grandchidren.
Burial will be at Corley Cemetery.
Ratha Heath
Ratha Mae Heath, 88, of Delaware, died Monday, May 19, 2003.
She was born Feb. 12, 1915 in Logan County to the late Az and Dolly Berry Garner. She was a homemaker and a retired cook. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Delaware. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Heath; two brothers, Pady Garner and Jeff Garner; two sisters, Mable Whitecotton, and Flossie Tucker and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Heath.
Funeral services were Thursday, May 22 at 10 a.m. at the Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Jeff Cravens and Rev. Wiley Jones officiating. Burial was at Graves cemetery under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Dardanelle.
She is survived by one son, Robert Heath of Delaware; three daughters, Mary Cravens of Subiaco, Margaret Frost of Ashdown, Judy Cravens of Delaware; two sisters, Mattie Huff and Ima Robinson both of Dardanelle; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jim Garner, Aubrey Garner, Ray Robinson, Loyd Frost, Mike Heath, Shelby Moore.
Honorary pallbearers were Matthew Brown, Lynn Rollans, Sherman Huff, Lemoyne Wood, Troy Hampton, Derrel Barnett.
Jacob Schnitzius
Jacob Paul Schnitizius, infant, of Russellville, died Thursday, May 15, 2003.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Elmer and Mary Duvall.
Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 22 at the Shinn Chapel with Rev. Susan Banks officiating. Burial was at St. Joe cemetery near Atkins under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
He is survived by his parents, Sean Paul and Elizabeth Marie Vaughan Schnitzius of Russellville; two brothers, Phillip Joseph Vaughan of Russellville, and Cameron Paul Schnitzius of Dover; paternal grandparents, Fred and Glenda Schnitzius of Paris; maternal grandparents, Phillip and Judy Duvall of Russellville; great-grandparents, Mary Schnitzius of Paris, and Ellen and Bobby Hurst of Moreland.
Pallbearer was George Warren.

William Frost
William Jesse Frost, 53, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003.
He was born May 17, 1950 in Paris. He was a former road foreman for the County. He was preceded in death by his father Vayne Frost and a brother James Frost.
He is survived by three daughters, Deidra McDonald of Booneville, Shannon Doughtery of Booneville, and Marla Fleming of Booneville; one son, Steve Frost of Booneville; mother, Beatrice Frost of Booneville; five sisters, Helen Lee of Havana, Velma Hester, Nancy Frost, and Bonnie Swafford all of Booneville, and Betty Trent of Paris; one brother, Wayne Frost of Booneville; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jack Ritchie, Rick Townsend, Sammy Carolan, James Ritchie, Ted Napier, Kirby Lee.
Honorary pallbearers were Danny Walpole and Merrion Freeman.

Russell Matthiessen
Russell Matthiessen, 73, of Paris, died Sunday, July 20, 2003.
He was a veteran and former truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mini Matthiessen and a brother, Arthur Matthiessen. He was a Korean War Veteran, a member of Teamsters Union and a former security guard. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Memorial services was Thursday, July 24 at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Paris with the Rev. H. C. Varnadore officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Murry Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Bowles Matthiessen of Paris; one son, Robert Tilley of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; two brothers, William Matthiessen of Pound, Wi., and Kenneth Matthiessen of Brookfield, Wi.; and two grandchildren.
Allen Haynes
Allen E. Haynes, 39, of Paris, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003.
He was a driller and a member of the First Baptist Church in Magazine.
Memorial service was at 10 a.m. Friday, July 25 at Roberts Memorial Chapel with burial in Corley cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Haynes of Van Buren and Crystal Bieler of Magazine; one son, Justin Haynes of Van Buren; three sisters, Violet Haynes of Hartman, Beth Hurst of Booneville, and Valerie Barnes of Magazine; and one brother, David Gordy Haynes of Magazine.
Ethan Jackson
Ethan Dean Jackson, 11, of Scranton, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003.
Graveside service and burial was at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 26 in Prairie View cemetery in Prairie View unde the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by his mother, Terry Jackson of Scranton; one brother, Lannie Anderson of Scranton; and grandparents, Donna and Lannie Jackson of Scranton.
Dion Johnson
Dion Thomas Johnson, 24, of Hot Springs, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003.
He attended the First Presbyterian Church in Hutchinson, Kan., was a member of the Honor Society, Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow, and Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at Kansas State University. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Thomas; paternal great-grandparents, John A. and Claudie Marie Johnson and paternal great-grandfather, Charlie Hardgraves.
Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26 at Roller Chapel in Paris with burial in Corley cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.

Charlene Dunevent
Charlene Dunevent, 50, of Subiaco, died Friday, July 25, 2003.
She was a homemaker and attended the Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her husband, James Franklin Dunevent of Subiaco; two sons, Jessie Templeman and Alan Bramlett of Atlanta, Ga.; twin sister, Darlene Daggs of Booneville; three brothers, Bobby Templeman of Booneville, Troy Templeman of Havana, and Charles Lee Templeman of Beaverton, Mi.; and two grandchildren.
Bob Otten
Bob L. Otten, 73, of Subiaco, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003 in Paris.
He was retired from Arkansas Electric Co-op as assistant superintendent where he worked for 28 years. He also served in the US Army for two years and the Merchant Marines for four years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben J. and Lillie (Neumeier) Otten.
Rosary was at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco.
Mass service was at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco with burial at St. Joseph cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Florence; two daughters, Cindy McConnell of Fort Smith and Sandra Moore of Subiaco; one sister, Marie Willmann of Owasso, Okla.; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were D. J. Ross, John Schmalz, Benny Wayne Willmann, Billy Schluterman, Gary Schluterman and Eddie Schmalz.
