Maida Cleo Lee, 85, of Paris, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003.
She was a homemaker and crafter. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Earl Lee and a grandson, Marshall Lee.
Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel of Paris with burial in Mt. Salem cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
She is survived by one daughter, Nina Zeiler of Paris; two sons, Loyd and Burl (Shorty) Lee of Paris; two brothers, Leon Rogers of Paris and Lenard Rogers of Selma, Calif.; three sisters, Lou Grubbs and Loretta Aldridge of Charleston, and Sharon Farmer of Subiaco; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
James Lowe
James Wilson Lowe, 78, of Scranton, died Nov. 9, 2003 in Little Rock.
He was a retired pilot from Pan American Airlines. Veteran of World War II and was a pilot in the US Marines. He was preceded in death by parents, George Wilson and Effie (Walters) Lowe.
Cremation was under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by wife, Betty (Bales) Lowe of Scranton; one daughter, Wendy Bessman of Oakridge, Tenn.; two sons, Stephen Lowe of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Carey Lowe of Cabo San Lucas, B. C.; and four grandchildren.
Clarence Harris
Clarence R. Harris, 89, of Paris, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003.
He was a retired coal miner and insurance agent. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and the Mason Lodge 378 and a 32nd Degree Mason.
Funeral service was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov 15 at the First Assembly of God Church in Paris with burial in the Oakwood cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Lee Harris of Paris; three step-daughters, Jewell White of Paris, Joene Westlake of Paris, and Nita Hall of North Little Rock; one step-son, Toy Lee of Paris; three sisters, Neta Corley and Dana Carpenter both of Fort Smith, and Hazel Fite of Fair Oaks, Calif.
Pallbearers were Harold Rogers, Kenneth Moore, Kenneth Green, Ernest Hatcher, J. T. Rogers and Silas Cothran.
Honorary pallbearers were Fellowship Sunday School class.

Charles Willhite
Charles Edward Willhite, of Duncan, Okla. died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003 in a hospital in Oklahoma City.
He was a retired carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife Letha (Couch) Willhite, parents, John and Laura (Ogden) Willhite; brothers, Johnie Clyde Willhite and Billie Gene Willhite.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
He is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Adkins of Duncan, Okla.; three sons, Charles Jr., Larry Ray and Barry Dean Willhite all of Duncan, Okla.; two brothers, Glenn Willhite and Jerry Willhite both of Paris; two sisters, Phyllis Aldana of Ontario, Calif., and Glenda Bowles of Paris.
Dorothy Cook
Dorothy Mae Cook, 79, of New Blaine, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004.
She was a homemaker and attended the Baptist Church.
Graveside service was at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27 in the Elizabeth Hall cemetery in New Blaine under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
She is survived by one daughter, Loraine Burns of Shephard, Tex.; one son, James Cook of New Blaine; three sisters, Shirley Jones of Caulksville, Betty Graham of Wichita, Kan., and Alma Fay Baker of Kansas; one brother, Joel Baker of Wichita, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
John Pridgin
John Hairl Pridgin, 79, died Wednesday, March 10, 2004.
He was born in Scranton on Oct. 28, 1924. He retired from the Richmond Unified School District in Richmond, Calif. He was preceded in death by his son, Hairl Pridgin; and stepdaughter, Carol Crabtree.
Funeral service was at 11 a.m. on March 16 at Mission Bells with interment at Rolling Hills Memorial Park in Richmond, Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Pridgin of San Pablo, Calif.; one daughter, Shirley Ann Farnum of Delaware; stepdaughters, Leveda Fowler of Burns, Ore., and Imogene Hatt of Benicia; stepson, Ray Lawson of Burns, Ore.; two brothers, Ivo Pridgin of Pinole and T. J. Pridgin of Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Damian Etzkorn
Damian J. "Shorty" Etzkorn, 68, of Allendale, died Tuesday, March 23, 3004.
He was born April 15, 1935 in Morrison Bluff to Anton and Anna M. (Kern) Etzkorn. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a member of St. Mary's Church in Mount Carmel. He and his twin brother Ray owned and operated Etzkorn Brothers Garage in Allendale, after closing the garage he worked for Allendale School as custodian and bus driver, until going to work as a mechanic for Kamp Motor Sales and J. W. Autoplex. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Winter Etzkorn, parents, two brothers, Paul and Herman, and a sister, Theresa.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 27, in the chapel of Short Funeral Home with burial in Allendale Cemetery.
He is survived by a son, Damian R. "D-Ray" (Beth) Etzkorn of Allendale; one daughter, Theresa Etzkorn of Allendale; three grandchildren; five brothers, twin brother, Ray Etzkorn of Browns, Anthony Etzkorn of Fayetteville, N. C., Charles Etzkorn of Roland, Okla., Clarence Etzkorn of Granite Falls, N. C., and Arthur Etzkorn of Fort Smith; and one sister, Margaret Johnson of Scranton.

Shirley Sutter
Shirley Mildred Sutter, 75, of Booneville, died Thursday, March 25, 2004.
She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Sutter.
Memorial service and visitation was at Roller Funeral Home Chapel of Booneville on Sunday, March 28. Cremation was under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Booneville.
She is survived by one daughter Marsha Stoner of Fort Smith; one son, Paul Sutter of Magazine; and three grandchildren.
Blake Keith
Blake Edward Keith, died Monday, March 22, 2004, in Lewisville, Tex.
He was born Jan. 2, 1969 in Ozark. He was a self-employed carpenter working in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the last eight years.
The family held a private service at J. E. Foust Funeral Home in Grapevine, Tex.
He is survived by one son, Andy Keith of Lamar; father, Jackie Keith of New Blaine; mother, Mary Keith-Conrad of Southlake, Tex.; one brother, Eric Keith of New Blaine; and maternal grandmother, Adelheid Meiger of Altus.
Marie Kennon
Marie Ogden Kennon, 91, of Springdale died March 8, 2004.
She was born Dec. 2, 1912 in Clarksville to Frank Charles and Minnie Belle Blackburn Ogden. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Paris, where she lived for 65 years. She was a homemaker, school teacher, president of Garden Club, Hobby Club, volunteer poll worker, member of Bridge Club in Paris, member of Rotary Ann, member of Band Boosters and was active in other areas of the community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Roy H. Kennon; infant daughter, Ann Kennon, daughter, Dr. Susan Kennon Williams.
Services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 11 at the First Methodist Church in Paris with the Rev. A. L. Hollingsworth officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery in Clarksville.
She is survived by one daughter, Lorene Kennon Hollingsworth of Springdale; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
James Lewis
James Harold Lewis, 77, of Magazine, died Monday, May 24, 2004.
He attended Magazine United Methodist Church. He worked and retired at Magazine schools, he was also farmer, mechanic and worked in construction. He was a World War II veteran.
Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Friday, May 28 at Magazine United Methodist Church with burial at Cauthron cemetery in Booneville under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Booneville.
He is survived by four daughters, Vestia Holbert of Farmers Branch, Tex., Janet Ballard, Debbie Gates and Sheila Fry all of Fort Smith; three sisters, Mary Crumbly of Choctaw, Okla., Annie Ryan of Magazine, and Sally Rowton of Long Grove, Okla.; two brothers, S. J. Lewis of Carrollton, Tex., and Billy Wade Lewis of Harrah, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bruce Staton, Harold Binyon, Bret Rigsby, Norris Westmoreland, Bill Westmoreland, and Don Loyd.
