Ted Lee Wolf

Ted Lee Wolf, age 47, of Bald Knob, Ark., died Sunday, July 18, 2004. Ted was born Jan. 26, 1957, in Oregon, Ill. He was in the Army National Guard from 1974-1980.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Nona Wolf of Bald Knob; one daughter, Julie Wolf and her husband Marty of Bald Knob; one son, Jason Stevens and his wife Monica of Judsonia; stepson, Mark Stevens of Wyoming; parents, Mary and Charles Wolf of Grass Valley, Calif.; brothers, Charlie Wolf, Don Wolf, Rick Wolf and Dru Wolf and sister, Lisa Britton, all of Grass Valley, Calif.; granddaughters, Alissa Wolf, Chelsie Wood, Tori Wood, Heather Stevens, Morgan Stevens, Kelly Stevens and Monica Stevens; and grandsons Steven Hester and Derek Hester.

Graveside services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy. Memorial funds may be sent to Dru Wolf, P.O. Box 1164, Rough and Ready, CA 95975. Tammy Lynn Nixon

Tammy Lynn Nixon, 34, of Jacksonville died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004. She was an employee of Arkansas Credit Union League and a graduate of Beebe High School.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Nixon; her father, David Parker Sr. of Beebe; three daughters, Kalesha, Karissa and Kassidy Nixon; three brothers, David Parker Jr. of Beebe, Scotty Parker of Dallas, Texas, and Billy Williams of Beebe; four sisters, Mary Fuller and Linda Anthony, both of Beebe, Vanessa Rogers of Jacksonville and Nezzester Phillips of Little Rock; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.

Zelma Wood

Zelma Wood, 67, of Floral died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Union Grove Baptist Church. Burial: Union Grove Cemetery.

Survivors: husband, Adrian; sisters, Norma Patterson, Evia Scott and Ruby Turner; brothers, Claud Williams, Raburn Williams and Wilson Williams.

Arrangements: Powell Funeral Home of Bald Knob.

Hurschel C. Anderson

Hurschel C. Anderson, age 84, of Searcy died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, in Searcy. He was born Oct. 20, 1920, in Searcy to James H. Anderson and Florence (Hodson) Anderson. He was a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran of World War II where he served as a sergeant in the Signal Corp. He was also a member of the Crosby Baptist Church where his parents were charter members.

He is survived by three daughters, Colette Adkins and husband Mike of Grand Rapids, Mich., Deanna Anderson of Searcy and Marcella Pinkett and husband Charles of Conway; four grandchildren, Layla Maclin of Searcy, Autumn Adkins of Grand Rapids, Mich., Julie Mabry and husband Bobby of Maumelle, and Mike Pinkett and wife Rhonda of Conway; and six great-grandchildren, Jessica Inman of Searcy, Cassie Maclin of Searcy, Kate Pinkett of Conway, Stacy Pinkett of Conway, Ragan Mabry of Maumelle and Lane Mabry of Maumelle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Florence Anderson; wife, Doralee Anderson; and brother, Clarence Anderson.

Ellen Dee English McIntire

Ellen Dee English McIntire, 89, of Searcy, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004. Born Jan. 31, 1915, in White County, she was the daughter of the late John and Theodosha English. She was a homemaker and a member of the Downtown Church of Christ.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Clearence "Doby" Clark, and daughter, Betty Jane Prince.

Survivors include her husband, Charles McIntire; sons, Gerald Clark, Harold Clark and Gayland Max Clark; grandchildren, Darlene, Virginia, Lora Ann, Doug, Charles, Stephen, Glen, Karen, Natalie, Melisa and Harold; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Chapel with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Evelyn Payne

Evelyn Payne, 81, of Normal, Ill., formerly of Pleasant Plains, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, Independence Baptist Church. Interment: Sunnyside Cemetery. Visitation: 1 p.m. prior to services.

Survivors: children, James, Robert, John, Cynthia, Deborah; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Welcie Winningham.

Arrangements: Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob.

Mamie Lee Haynie

Mamie Lee Haynie, 91, of Searcy, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004. Born Sept. 9, 1913, in Denmark, Ark., she was the daughter of the late George Isham and Mary Linville Isham.

She is survived by her daughters-in law, Shirley Phillips of Georgetown and Nadine Phillips of Cabot; two grandsons, James Winford Phillips of Georgetown and Jesse Ray Phillips of Searcy; seven granddaughters, Debra Peters of Fort Madison, Iowa, Georgia Gottschall of Searcy, Sheila Gatlin of Atwater, Calif., Linda Rhinehart of Searcy, Brenda Schultz of Marion, Wis., Chrystie Hernandez of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Mary Flischa Barley of Cabot; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren. She was very much loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004 at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Shands officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Nellie G. Evans, 82, of Searcy died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004. She was born April 29, 1922, at Searcy to Roy Corbitt and Annie James Dubose Corbitt. She was a member of the Living Church of God of Little Rock.

She is survived by one daughter, Rosa Nell Evans Creekmore and husband Bob of Florence, Ky.; three sons, Arlie Wayne Evans of Searcy, Richard Evans and wife Linda of Hot Springs and David Michael Evans and wife Athena of Hot Springs; one sister, Jonnie Fern Corbitt Monroe of Oregon; 11 grandchildren, Sammie Baker of Ft. Mills, S.C., Samanthia Kreis of Charlotte, N.C., Vernon Price of Florence, Ky., Valerie Bohannon of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Johnny Price of Florence, Ky., Joshua Evans of Hot Springs, Vickie McEnery of Mansfield, Texas, Mitiz Hamond of Mansfield, Texas, Leslie Hanna of Pindl, Miss., Michael Evans of Hot Springs and Deborah Stiles of Orlando, Fla.; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie W. Evans.

Visitation was conducted from 5-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004, at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel.
