Beatrice (Dootsie) Williams, beloved mother of Gwen Alston Wetzel and Connie Alston Allen, adored grandmother of 5, great grandmother of 4, and cherished aunt to Sondra Ray, passed away on October 30, 2007.

Betty Ann Turnage, 65, of North Little Rock, passed away October 21, 2007.
She was a faithful member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. Her parents, Malachi and Ruth Turnage, and six siblings precede her in death.
Ms. Turnage leaves to cherish her memory: sons, Gregory, Terry, Gary, and Tony Turnage; grandchildren, Antoinette, Gabriel, and Destiny Turnage; aunts, Laura Hines and Pearl Dobbins; uncle, Joe Dobbins (Mary); a host of many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Carolyn Jean Rowland Anderson, Cookie Mama , 65, of Little Rock , AR was called home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2007. She was born to the late Aaron and Eva Rowland in Little Rock , AR. She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Steele Memorial Baptist Church . In 1963, she moved her membership to First Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. O. V. Harrison.
She worked diligently on the Hospitality Committee, Choir, Usher Board and Deaconess Board and was a dedicated member until her death.
She united in holy matrimony to Willie Young, Jr. in 1959 and to this union one daughter was born. In 1961 she joined in matrimony to Mr. Berry Anderson and to this union a daughter and son were born.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memory her husband, Mr. Berry Anderson; three children, Phyllis (Brennan)White, Berrolyn (Warren) Harris and Barry (Tari) Anderson; 8 grandchildren, Tamara, Tanyelle, Philip, Victor, Wilton, Charles, Terrance and Amiya; 3 great grandchildren, Tamar, Zani and Philip and a host of other loving relatives and devoted friends.
A celebration of her life will be Saturday, September 8, 2007, 1:00 PM, at First Baptist Church, 901 Calhoun St. Little Rock, AR.

Norris Ready
Norris Ready, 78, of North Little Rock unexpectedly passed away October 22, 2007.
Mr. Norris was a well known local businessman. He was the owner of the former Norris Barber & Beauty/One Trip Beauty Supply, a member of the Morning Star Masonic Lodge, and a Veteran of the Korean conflict.
He leaves to cherish his memory: four sons, Stephen Ready-Brewer, Derial L. Ready, Norris K. Ready, and David L. Ready; two daughters, Doretha R. Ready-Holmes and Venita A. Ready; thirteen grandchildren, Derial Ready, Jr., Imara Ready, Sr., Kennesha Bracely, Khalilah Ellingberg, Kelvin Ready, Nakia Bracely, Venita Ellingberg, Talaniece Brewer, Charmaine Jones, Kennia Bracely, Kenneth Bracely, David Ready, Jr., and Aliah Ready; and fifteen great grandchildren.

Tavaras Mansfield
Tavares LaKeith "Keith" Mansfield, 30, was born October 1, 1976, he was proceeded in death by his mother Clover Mae Fulton and father Gary Mansfield.
His Mother chose John and Bonnie Moore as his Godparents, who remained supportive of Keith his entire life. After his mother s passing, he lived with his Uncle Clyde and Aunt Jean, where he remained until he graduated from Jacksonville High School 1994. After graduation he moved to Little Rock where he had been employed at various businesses including; Frankie s Cafeteria, James McCarther Global Janitorial Services and McGhee Construction. He recently moved to Seattle, Washington to pursue a career as a deep sea fisherman off the coast of Alaska.
On September 6, 2007, Keith s dreams were tragically cut short. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter and one son; one brother Jordan Conley of Little Rock. Four uncles Clyde (Jean), Ted (Marilynn), Tommy (Christine) Fulton all of Jacksonville; George (Mabel) Fulton of New Mexico. Two Aunts Marilyn (Chester) Epting and Vivian (Hugh) Shirlee both of Jacksonville. One great-uncle James (Linda) Carter of California; One Great-aunt Olney Cook of Michigan, Step-father Ervie Conley, and a host of loving cousins and friends.
